Can I please use the MS Explorer "favorites" instead of Firefox "Bookmarks?"
I love Firefox except for one thing: I think MS Explorer "Favorites" is easier to use than Firefox "Bookmarks." I've already imported my Favorites from Explorer into Firefox. Now I want to continue adding bookmarked pages to my Favorites folder structure. How can I do this?
One option is to use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/668/ PlainOldFavorites] add-on. It lets you use Explorer favorites from inside Firefox.

It would appear under the organizer tab that the photos are organised in the lowest folder in the folder structure within Windows Explorer. How can I use the Windows Explorer structure to organise the photos within Elements.In a situation such as yours, I tend to consolidate items into folders so I have folders of nice workable numbers of images, somewhere between 20 and 200 images. Now, whatever, once you've imported, do your moving within LR, not the OS! I will select all in a folder and drag into a folder a level or two or three above, and then delete the newly empty subfolders. I hope this helps a bit!

I tried to get from web, but unfortunately not getting the required data
Can you please provide the test data (the 2 csv files NYSE Daily 2009 and NASDAQ daily 2009) using which I will resume my work in Power BI?

I would like to use the windows explorer open dialog box instead of the adobe open dialog box. How can I change that?
The top screenshot is the Windows Open dialog box. All File > Open... commands in all Windows programs bring it up. Try File > Open in Notepad for example.
It belongs to Windows not Adobe. You cannot change this because there is no such thing as an Adobe Open dialog box.
The bottom screenshot is Windows Explorer. It is Windows' OS File Browser, not an Open dialog. It is not called up by Photoshop or any Windows program.
You have to click on "My Computer" or a Folder icon to get to it. You can double-click a psd, jpeg or other image file in the Explorer window so that it opens in Photoshop.
There is Adobe Bridge and Minibridge Alt + Ctrl + O or File > Browse in Bridge -

If you have forgotten the iPad passcode and you cannot unlock the device, you have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your iTunes content. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.

I am running Lion 10.7.5, Adobe Photoshop CS6, scanning slides on my Epson V600 and can no longer use the scan application or the plug in for Photoshop. Should I revert back to leopard in my time machine to finish scanning my family slides?
In 10.7 there is not a twain that works with Photoshop for importing with all the options needed to scan transparencies. I noticed that when I was scanning in October 2012 I was still using CS6 so somehow I was managing to be able to use all the scan features.
They sell 2nd party software (VieScan and Silverscript)which I found to be just mimially OK and very hard to use.
I just want to scan like I used to.
Can I use time machine to go back to an earlier operating sysytem LEOPARD, and then do my scans and then save the photos and them go back to the LION system?
I spent 7 hours trying crazy solutions - downloading Windows CS2 Photoshop and then using a program so I could run it on the apple. Then I couldn't figure out how to put a plug in for the scanner in the stupid windows Photoshop program. Googgling the computer like a mad woman trying to ask questions. I am not giving up...
Please help if you can...

Why can't I use the original texts?

Hi just bought an iphone 4 today tried to activate the phone and it won't let me..I go through language ect and it says activateing iphone may take a few mins then just stops and message on screen says that the sim carrier is not supported and please use the sim which came with the phone(which i am..& have tried another sim and still not working)........It wont let me bypass have tried reseting phone and restarting it nothing helps????

Where do I put pdfs on Samsung Galaxy SII so I can view them using the Adobe Reader App?
I have PDF files on my PC that I'd like to view on my phone. I downloaded the Adobe Reader expecting a folder to appear that I could copy these PDFs to. Rather like with Kindle. It didn't. Where do I put the files so I can display them using the Adobe Reader App? Of course when I open the app at the moment, I get 'no files available', obviously, I don't know where to put them. I'm probably missing something very simple but your help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I solved the problem. I manually created my own Adobe PDF folder by connecting the phone via usb to my PC, Windows Autoplay gave me the option to 'Open device to view files'. Explorer then displayed all the folders on the phone. I created an Adobe PDF folder manually and copied the PDFs I wanted to view into that folder. Adobe Reader then found the files without a problem. I clearly was missing something quite simple but something I'm sure a lot of people would miss. Perhaps if the next version of Adobe Reader for Android created this folder automatically, like Kindle and Kobo and other readers do, it might save a lot of people a bit of a headache.

Hi, Im new to JDeveloper and I work in a school which requires restriction of the C: Drive. Does any one know how I can either stop the "Open Applications" dialog from showing this drive or Use the Windows Explorer "Open" dialog window to browse files, the drive has been hidden and restricted using GPO but JDeveloper shows the C: drive?

On the Windows side of things, we are using Win7 and we have hidden the drives we don't want the user to see using GPO but obviously Jdev then shows these drives in its "Open Applications" Window and allows access. As far as the environmental variable is concerned this is something that I put in place.

In the older versions of iTunes, you used to be able to use the column browser when organizing your iPhone or iPad media, in the same way you could when organizing your iTunes songs by viewing the genres, ablums, and artists either on top or on the side. But with the last few iTunes updates, I can no longer use the column broswer when I connect my iPhone or iPad. I find this quite inconvenient because I am constantly updating my music content and I like to see what artists, ablums, and songs I have on my device without scrolling down a long list of 2500+ songs. Any insight?

You need to restart the iMac and hold down the Command and R keys immediately.
You will then have the utilities drop down and you choose Terminal
When Terminal opens, type exactly:
resetpassword
and press Return.
When the Reset Password window opens, select the user for which you want to change the password.
Enter the new password twice, and then click Save.
Accept the next dialog window,
And then Apply
When finished click the apple at the left side of the menu bar, and the Restart.
