Can I print contacts on ipad2

Can I print my contact list from my iPad to my wireless Epson printer?

Afraid not.
Epson have an app called iPrint, which lets you scan and print, but you can only print photos from your camera album, web pages (from links to the full page) and documents scanned and then saved.
There are third party Apps that are supposed to work but I've not tried them. Print and Share is a popular one but I can't vouch for it personally.

How can I print from my ipad2 to my hp 6210 all in one using printopia? I see my printer on my iPad, I select it and say print and nothing happens. The printer is connected to an older Mac with OS X 10.4.11 but I do have an imac in another room. I have trouble printing from the iMac to this printer also even tho share is on but the printer works fine with the old Mac it's connected to. My iPad has the latest iOS.

    A few things to consider.
The computer Printopia is loaded on must be powered on and must be able to print on the printer that is being shared.  If the iMac is having problems printing to the printer it could indicate a problem with the share setup.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
If you have a Mac running OS X, try AirPrint Activator.
    http://netputing.com/airprintactivator/airprint-activator-v2-0/
    It's "donation-ware."
Free to download and try. If it works and you like it, the developers do appreciate a donation, but the app continues to function, even without a donation.

  • Can't print contact sheets on Epson R1800 with LR3

I upgraded to Lightroom 3 a few months ago and can't print contact sheets on 13x16" sheets using my Epson R1800 (it worked fine before in Lightroom 2).
I have this problem on both an iMac and Macbook Pro, both running the latest version of Snow Leopard.
I've tried re-installing the drivers, open the program in 32 bit mode and no joy.
I can use the Print Module no problem and can print 4x6 single prints or even do a 2x2 contact sheet on a 4x6. I can also print a 7x7 contact sheet on a 13x19" sheet using draft mode, but if I try to use profiles (the images are way too dark in draft mode), LR will spend a few minutes rendering the images, while this is happening the job appears in the Epson utility, but once LR has finished rendering, the progress bar disappears along with the job in the Epson utility and nothing happens?
    Anybody experience something similar?
    Thanks in advance for replying.
    John

Print Drivers on OS X aren't the same as on Windows...
You can't use an Epson driver made for USB-only Epson printers, because they wrote the driver to only work via USB. To use the CUPS Windows printer protocol, you need a driver written to use CUPS. The Gutenprint drivers Apple included in OS X are CUPS drivers. An update is here:
    http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php
If your specific model isn't yet supported, try other model drivers.

  • Can i print from my ipad2 to an epson printer connected to time machine.?

can i print from my ipad2 to an epson printer which is connected to my time machine.?

Does that printer support wireless printing?  If so, then try it that way using the "Epson iPrint" app.  From my experience, don't expect to be able to print every type of thing you'd want to.

  • Can I print contact sheets from Iphoto or aperture with file names?

I can not figure out nor am I sure it can be done with these programs but if someone out there can tell me how I would be very happy. I have several jobs I need contacts on I have been printing contact sheets and then handwriting the file numbers. To old fashion for me. HELP

    1. In the browser pane in Aperture, select the images you need.
    2. File>Print...
    3. On the left-hand side of the print dialog, click on 'Sample Contact Sheet Preset'.
    4. In the layout options there is a drop-down menu for which metadata set you want to show below the images. You may get away with using 'Name Only' which gives you the current Version Name, otherwise you may have to make a new metadata set* containing just the filename.

    * Making new metadata sets has been covered several times on the forum, the search function is your friend.

  • Can I print from my ipad2 to my iMac wirelessly?

I'm new to ipad2 and want to know if the Bluetooth or wifi can be used to send Pages letters to my iMac wirelessly.   I'm able to Share/ print through
iTunes but that entails hooking up wires.  Any help for me minus purchasing the AIRPort?

You can't print via bluetooth (that is aimed at devices such as headphones and keyboards on iOS devices). If you don't have an Airprint supported printer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356) then you might be able to print via wifi via your PC/Mac using apps such as Print Central and Print n Share.
I don't have the Pages app or print from my iPad, so I can't say which print app is best (or if they work with Pages)

  • How can I print from my ipad2 to a Kodak 5250 ESP printer?

How can I print from my iPad 2 to a Kodak 5250 printer?

    You cannot.
The USB port on the AirPort Express allow sharing a printer with Windows and Mac OS X, not with iOS:
"Wireless printing over USB requires a compatible printer and OS X v10.2.7 or later, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7":
    http://www.apple.com/airportexpress/#wireless-printing
"AirPrint-enabled printers  connected using Bluetooth or shared through a USB port of a Mac, PC, AirPort Base Station, or Time Capsule are not supported":
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
The HP ePrint app also does not provide such functionality:
Can I print from the HP ePrint mobile app using USB or Bluetooth?
No. You can only print directly to supported HP printers on a local wireless network.

  • Can't print contact sheet in iPhoto 11

iPhoto 11 9.4.3: OS 10.8.5; iMac mid 2011; Epson WP-4020 printer. All of a sudden, I cannot print a contact sheet from iPhoto. Had no problem doing so before. I now get error message from printer "Paper out, incorrect loading, or paper jam," none of which apply. No problem printing individual photos or anything else. Other posts have indicated a problem with a theme not being selected and to select one after clicking on a theme button. I cannot find the theme button to check this out. Where is this button and would this solve my problem?
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    To re-install iPhoto
    1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
    2. Download it from the App Store to reinstall It's on your Purchases List there.
For older versions that have been installed from Disk you'll need these additional steps:
2a: On 10.5:  Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows:  In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
    /var/db/receipts/
    2c: on 10.7 or later they're at
    /private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
    3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.

  • Can't print contact sheet (was Ron A B)

How do I print a contact sheet in PSE11?

What I would try at this point is using the installer to uninstall Elements. You choose Remove Components rather than Install components when you get to that screen. Then create a new admin user (system preferences>user accounts, and be sure to turn on the box to let the new user administer the computer). Log in as that user and run the install from there. If PSE works okay, then you can go back to your regular account and delete the new user. Don't forget to repair permissions after installing.

  • How can I print from an IPAD2?

I recently asked the above question and I appreciate the response.  I think I should have been more specific.  I would like to print directly from the IPAD to my printer.  I do not have wireless, WiFi or a network, just an IPAD2 and a IMAC.  My printer is a DELL 1230C.  Can I just run a cable from the IPAD2 to my printer?  As you tell I am no computer expert, just a simple user.

I don't have a printer connected or used by mine so I'm not 100% about the following as it's not something that I've needed to look into, but as nobody else has yet replied.
I don't think that a printer can be directly connected to the iPad - I'm only aware of a camera connection kit which has a USB connection as part of it, but it can only be used to transfer photos and videos to the iPad, and it doesn't support other hardware. Plus you wouldn't be able to install any printer drivers onto the iPad, so I think the only way to print from the iPad is via wifi - either directly via wifi via Airprint to some HP printers as I linked to in your other thread, or via wifi to a printer connected to a PC or Mac

  • Can't print from my iPad2 to my airprint printer

I have an iPad2 and an HP Officejet 8500 wireless printer. I have been unable to print to it from my iPad. I even tried an app and that didn't work either(before I realized my printer is Airprint enabled). I'm not sure how to check the firmware that is mentioned. I don't see that on HP's website when I have checked there.

Hi Jody, and a warm welcome to the forums!
    Have you done this yet?
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then reboot.
If that doesn't work try Mac OS X: About the Reset Printing System feature ...
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1341?viewlocale=en_US
Might try Printer Setup Repair 5.1...
    http://www.fixamac.net/software/index.html
Add the Printer again after removing it.

  • How can i copy contacts from ipad2 to iphone 5s

How can icopy contacts from ipad to iphone? andd viceversa?
    thanks

Another way is to use one of many apps from the App Store. Note that you'll need to setup the same email account, accessible by both devices.
Search the App Store for an app called My Contacts Backup (free, and available in the US App Store, I don't know about other countries). Install the app on both devices. Run the app on the iPad 2 and have it backup your contacts. It will compile them into a vCard format and allow you to email the file to yourself. On the iPhone 5s, access the email that you sent the vCard file to, find the message and tap on the vCard attachment. Follow the directions and your contacts will now be transferred to the iPhone.
You can simply reverse the procedure to copy in the other direction.

  • Can One Export Contacts w/ iPad2?

The first thing I wanted to do when I purchased my iPad 2 wasto export my contacts from Backup Assistant to my brand new iPad 2. Only problem is the export feature on the website doesn't seem to be available on my iPad. How can I do this? All I want are my phone numbers and emails. Please help me.
I have tried the list view setting, but I can't seem to find it. The Backup website is mostly greyed out on my iPad.

Nope, don't do that, you won't get all your contacts.  I just did it yesterday (2011/10/15) and I did not get all 481 of my contacts.  I retried it again today because I noticed some were missing from the downloaded file.  I selected all my contacts and exported them again with the same result: it only downloads 381 of my contacts.  100 were missing.  So I downloaded all the different types you can download (outlook, etc) and the other files had ALL the contacts and it appears that when you download the "mac format" file (even though it's csv just like the others), it omits (possibly among other contacts) those contacts which do not have a last name.
Why this is, I have no idea.  There's absolutely no reason a mac cannot handle entries without last names.  In fact, any one of those files can be imported into "Address Book.app".  Luckily, I noticed the bug in their "mac format export" which doesn't giove you all your contacts before I cancelled my account (I'm switching to Sprint to get unlimited data on my new iPhone 4s).
I suggest downloading any one of the other versions OTHER than the mac one.  You'll import it just fine and not be missing any contacts.
    Rob
