Can I print multiple copies of the same picture on iphoto 9.5

I used to be able to print multiple copies of the same picture on one page using iphoto. There was a customise button when you went through to print and it was there somewhere. I can't see it anymore - maybe since an upgrade. Can anyone see how to do this now?

It's gone. But as a work-around, duplicate your photo (⌘D) to create as many versions as you want copies and select all at once. Then use the "Custom" print layout and set the photo size you want.
After printing, trash the added versions.

no - you simply have to select the option to print mucliples of a photo on a page
select the photo and go to the file menu ==> print - select the printer, paper size and print size and click customize - in the tool bar click on the settings icon (the gear looking thingy) and select "multiple of the same photo per page" and the preview will reflect this option showing a full page of the selected size photos

  • How can I print multiple photos on the same page from iPhoto?

I want to print multiple pictures on one paper. How can I do that from iPhoto? If I select multiple photos they are printed on separate pages.

Select the photos and click print - select the printer, paper size and print size (be sure that they will physically fit on the paper) and click customize - on the resulting page click on the settings icon - the gear looking thingy at the bottom - and in the selection window set print multiple photos on a page - the preview should reflect this change - and click print again to continue

In iPhoto 9.5.1, how do I print multiple copies of the same photo on a sheet ?
I am somehow missing the "settings" which allowed me to do this in earlier versions.
Grateful for any hints. Thank you. Znon

That is not a feature of iPhoto - suggest to Apple - iPhoto Menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback.
You can only do it by duplicating the photos "n-1" times to make "n" prints and selecting all copies then print

  • How can I remove multiple copies of the same song from the iTunes listing?

How can I remove multiple copies of the same song from the iTunes listing. The program seems to be picking up the same songs from, for example, my user area and my public area in the C drive

As above, Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library, however it is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created.  If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve/merge ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed)

  • Multiple copies of the same picture

I am using iPhoto 8 with OS X 10.5.3. I have very little HD space available and need to clean up a very messy iPhoto library. I began by opening iPhoto and finding multiple duplicates of the same photos. I moved them to the TRASH and deleted them within iPhoto. However, when I reopen iPhoto, they are still there. When I use spotlight to look for where the copies are I will find them in a variety of locations: iPhotoLibrary/Originals or iPhotoLibrary/Data, or in iPhotoLibrary/(a folder that I made up, for example, a year the picture was taken. I want to trash all the duplicates, but I am not sure what the best way is to find the duplicates and then to select which one to keep.

To add a twist to Terence's directions on getting just your original files out and imported into a new library. Open the library and COPY the Originals folder out of the library. Open the Originals folder and do a search of it (Command-F) and search for images less than 1MB. Drag those found to the Trash in the dock.
Now launch iPhoto with the Option key depressed and, when asked, select Create a new library. When it's open drag the Original folder sans smaller files into the open iPhoto window. This will give you the same Events that you had in your earlier library. Might save you some organizational effort. Good luck.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • In I-Tunes, how can I consolidate multiple copies of the same album with different tracks into one file in my library screen?

In Windows 7 , I tunes library/ albums, I have many albums ( all the same) with different tracks in each.
Is it possible to consolidate the multiple cover photos into one ?

Generally setting a common Album Artist will fix things, if not see Grouping tracks into albums.
