Can I print or export an OD user list?

OK, I am sure there must be numerous ways to go about this... How can I generate a detailed list of the users (and groups?) in the Workgroup Manager?

Only with the old PlayCentre (not sure if this will work with the Touch but you can get it from Nomadness.net downloads) or Notmad Explorer.

You can view your account's purchase history on your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Try exportiing to Acrobat 4 (PDF 1.3) that should flatten before sending.
Seems like it's trying to flatten on output and is hanging. If you do PDF 1.3 then it will already be flattened and might stop the error.

Hi. I'm trying to print just a To-Do list in iCal. Though the print options would seem to allow you to do this, even if you turn off the "calendars" and "minimonth" options in the print menu, leaving you with just "To Dos" highlighted, you get the calendar/month printed as well. Is there any way I can print just my extensive list of to dos?

I can only get a list of days with "no entry". Surely a To Do list is a list, not several pages of empty days on a calendar?!
Please if anyone knows how to do this, or why I can't, I'd really love to know.

Unable to export Groups and users list

We have just upgrade BO from XIR2 to V3.0. We need to create an Excel file wich shows links between all users and all groups. Is it possible to query the repository ? Does it exist a functionality in the CMC interface to copy quickly all the links between all users and all groups into an Excel file ? We have to many links (1000 users and 40 groups) to do it manualy.

you can have this from the audit schema if you have your audit services is enabled for some specific servers.
then you can use query builder to query the audit schema about users, groups , reports and all the objects related to the business objects system.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe you can sync from Outlook on the Mac directly. You need to set Outlook to sync bookmarks to Address Book through the Tools menu -> Sync Services in Outlook. Then you can set your Address Book contacts to sync contacts on the Info tab when you select your iPad in the sidebar in iTunes.
If you're connecting to an Exchange server, you can also set up Mail, Contacts and Calendar on the iPad to sync directly to the Exchange server.

Can we import a user list (CSV) into GW to create accounts?

We are needing to add a few hundred new user accounts into GroupWise 2012. Can this be done by importing a user list in the form of a .CSV file or something similar?
Anything would be better than single account creation. Do we need to create a template?

As far as getting the accounts created in edirectory, you typically use an ldap import with an LDIF file, when i've had to bulk create accoutns in edir I normally use a spreadsheet with the accoutn details and a word doc then do a merge to create the required ldif file
however if you already have the accoutns in edirectory, just select your post office object and add the accounts that way and it will create them all for you

AD RMS User List

Is there a way to obtain a list of all AD RMS Users? I have looked and cannot find anything. The built in reporting is VERY limited. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, it is limited but should fit for your purpose.
Open AdRMS console, go to Reporting / System Health / Domain Summary and View Report... in the Report View Action section
Pick a period you would like to check for your users (a year or so)
Once the report is opened, click on the domain name and you should see User names.
You can use Print and Export function to save to Excel file...
You can also create reports directly from SQL ADRMS database with reporting services if above way is not a good one.

You could create a procedure which stores this information at logon and updates this information at log off.
On the 'Connection Scripts' tab of a Connection Pool you can define two sorts of scripts; 'Execute on connect' and 'Execute on disconnect'. This way you can store the user_name and the connect and disconnect in a table.

I have a recruiter who changed her user name... went from "XXXXX" to "YYYYY". She was in the userlist of recruiters prior to the change with her old user name. When I try to edit this (T77RCF_USR_SGRP using the V77RCF_USR_SGRP), I get an error message that "No candidate could be found for US XXXXX".
How can I change her username in the user list to her new YYYYY ??

How can you add your own print and export buttons to the CR viewer toolbar?

I posted a previous question that was asking how to get around the Information Bar in IE7 when you export and print. Unfortunately the CR viewer file download code gets blocked by IE7 because the buttons don't directly download the file. However, I have been able to get a regular button that calls the following code and streams the file to the client and IE7 does not block it.

1. Is it possible to add a custom print control/icon to the CR viewer toolbar?
2. If one is not possible, then is it possible to override the CR viewer print and export buttons with your own subroutines like the one above?
I just want my page to look nice and hate to have print and export buttons outside of my CR viewer.

It might be possible to replace the buttons in a windows app since you can retrieve the toolbar as a toolbar object in the winform viewer ( ToolStrip toolBar = (ToolStrip) crystalReportViewer1.Controls[3]; ) however with a web app, it's a lot more difficult.
The problem is that that you need to parse the Request string to try and figure out if the print / export button was clicked. The code below makes the print button disappear if you click it, so you should be able to modify it to call your custom printing / exporting code instead (You have to do this check in a postback)

Network printer issue - User can't print once logged back in. Windows 7

I have a bit of a mystery. We have a networked printer which everyone can printer to a part from one user. When you try printing from any application the "print" gets sent then nothing, not even in the print queue.
However in the same office everyone else can print.
I have tried the following.
Made sure the printer is set to default.
Sign in as Admin - I can print
Other users - Can print
Removed the device in the users profile re-added the device user can print.
But when the user logs out and logs back in they can't print.
Restarted print spooler. - No luck.
No errors and printer always showing online.
Any help/suggestion would be appreciated.

1. Have you used the printui.exe tool to remove the print drivers? 2. If you sign the user to other machine can he print there? 3. Have you tried to recreate the user profile on that machine?

PO can be printed without release ONLY from one User id.

We are facing a problem, that PO can be printed before release. Configuration is correct.This is happening only for one user id. No other user is able to do so. Is it related with the roles and authorizations or the user parameters in SU01D? Which authorization objects to chekc in this case?

PO cannot be printed unless it is released. Can you check whether it is at time of change print or re-print (after modifying PO - without releasing user is trying to print the PO)? Or else is it from print preview tab in PO (there is a option to print from print preview directly)? I dont think it is because of user adminstraion/ roles. Please check
