Can I print wallet sized photo's in iPhoto '11?

I've always printed multiple wallet sized photo's on a single sheet of photo paper. After upgrading to iPhoto '11 is there is no option to print wallets?

There does not appear to be a way to do this with a single image selected. But if you select multiple images, and then select to print and then select Contact Sheet from the examples shown in the right hand column that appears, then this will print all the selected photos onto a single sheet.

  • Printing wallet sized photo sheet

I don't seem to be able to figure out how to print a sheet of wallet sized photos!  Every website that I have found refers to iPhoto 11 but includes screen shots of the printing options that are not available in the version that I am running (9.5.1).  I'm at a total loss!  Any suggestions?  I've attached a screen shot of my print options page.

Yes, I have also selected 2x3 in the print window. That is where the problem is occurring. If i leave it as standard 8x10 then I get the entire image in the photo print area. When I select anything smaller, then instead of sizing the entire image down to the new dimensions it basically just grabs that area from the larger picture and effectively zooms in on it. So instead of my daughter's entire head, i just get her nose and eye in the 2x3 image.

  • Printing Wallet-sized photos in iPhoto '08

I have a photo i took on my digital camera that I am trying to crop and print as a wallet-sized image. I have resized it to a 2x3 size, but when I go to the Print settings, the photo is massively zoomed in and i can't capture the entire image in the 2x3 space, I only get a portion of the face instead of the entire headshot. I try to edit the mask and realign and zoom out on the image, but it is already zoomed out as far as it will allow (even though there is a lot of photo not being displayed).
Is there any way to work around this? Seems odd that if i want to print a wallet photo from an image i took i should be able to scale the entire image down to fit and not have to print it as an 8x10.

  • How can one send email-sized photo files as attachments in Mail, without the photos appearing within the email?s

How can one send email-sized photo files as attachments in Apple Mail, without the photos appearing in the body of the email?  If it can be done, it's not at all obvious, at least not to me.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

The "View as icon" option shrinks the photo to an icon in the sender's Apple Mail, but how it appears to the recipient varies dependingy on what e-mail client he/she uses.
Using Apple Mail 5.0 (the Lion version) at both ends, the sender can use the "View as icon" option to shrink his view of the photo to an icon, but the recipient also using Apple Mail 5.0 still sees the full photo in line with the message text. The recipient can then use the "View as icon" option to shrink it to an icon, but I don't think that's not what jackofarabia is looking for.
As far as I know there is no way in the current Apple Mail to do what jackofarabia wants. There should be, but there isn't.

Panoramic photos. I have a Sony Cybershot camera. My problem is that I can't view my panoramic photos properly with iPhoto.  Sony says to contact Mac support. Has anyone any info on this prob, please?

Not sure what you want - you shoot the photo by doing a sweep and the camera makes a static JPEG that is long (panaromic) and you import it - on the camera and in iPhoto is is a panaromic photo
      for example

  • Can't print a color photo from 6.06 on my Epson Photo RX580

I need to print a photo of some plumbing layout. Much faster than drawing it. But I can't print it! I've tried in both iPhoto and dragging the photo to the desktop and printing from there. A "low resolution warning" icon is diplayed on the photo preview when I try to print in iPhoto, and on the print dialog box when I try to print from the desktop, there's a tiny warning icon next to the printer as well. I can print Word files OK, Excel files, everything but an iPhoto picture that was taken at high resolution. Anybody have any ideas? Thank you all very much for any help.

    Rick:
Select the photo and in the info pane at the bottom of the Source pane check to see what the size of the image is. Report back with the info.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • IPhoto- Can it print dates on photos?

I would like to print dates on photos. Is this possible with iPhoto '08 Version 7.1.5 (378)?

You’ll need an external editor to do that:
In order of price here are some suggestions:
    Seashore (free)
    Graphic Coverter ($45 approx)
    Acorn ($50 approx)
    Photoshop Elements ($75 approx)
There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate.
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.

  • Can I print a landscape contact sheet in iPhoto

I am unable to print a landscape contact sheet in iPhoto (latest upgrade, Maverick OS). I can get an image to switch to landscape when switching through the options, but this often results on cutting off the image (the only option iPhoto offers is to move the image or make it bigger, which cuts it off even more). I can't find any print settings as suggested in previous questions and answers and when I click print, there are no other options for me to change it. I have included screenshot for reference

That's right.  We haven't been  able to do a Print Setup since iPhoto 8 (09).  Whether the image is oriented landscape or not is built into iPhoto for single photo printing but for the contact sheet we've only got portrait orientation.
You can report this deficiency in iPhoto to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html in hopes they will incorporate that feature in the new Photos app that will be released sometime this spring.

  • Cannot Print to 5x7 Photo Paper with iPhoto

I just bought my first iMac and hooked it up to my Epson 730 Artison printer, which is designed to work with Apple products. Whenever I print a photo it always prints to the 8.5x11 inch paper instead of the photo paper, which is located above the 8.5x11 inch paper.  This happens even when I select the 5x7 inch paper size and select glossy photo paper in iPhoto.  In fact, it does not matter what combination of options I select from iPhoto in terms of the print options, it just prints it to 8.5x11 no matter what.
Is there some way to make iPhoto print to the size of paper that I choose with Epson products?  There are two sizes of paper which can be loaded in the tray at the same time, in case you haven't seen one.
(Tearing hair out after an entire evening wasted trying to print one 5x7 glossy photo.)
    Thank you very much.
    David

I'm so embarrassed.  The reason I was having trouble printing is because I did not install the latest print driver from Epson for Mountain Lion 10.8.1.   I thought of this in the shower and tried it and now everything is fine.
I hope I didn't send anybody on a wild goose chase.

  • Sizing photo's for iPhoto via Photoshop

Hi all. Every time I upload my photo's from my Canon 5D I use Adobe Bridge (CS4) to view them and make adjustments in Camera Raw. No problem. Then I down size them in PS CS4 using "Save for Web and Devices" and put them into iPhoto. When I open them (in iPhoto) they are always blurry. I keep the original and they are crystal clear (in iPhoto). Why are the jpg's blurry in iPhoto and when I add them to my Mobile Me Gallery they're blurry. They are tack sharp when I downsize them and view them in PS. I can't use the .png files cuz they're so big.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Then I down size them in PS CS4 using "Save for Web and Devices" and put them into iPhoto.
Because you made them very small for web display - what pixel dimensions are they?
I can't use the .png files cuz they're so big
the .png files are the same size outside iPhoto as they are in iPhoto - why can't you use the .png files in iPhoto and delete them outside iPhoto?
What do you want to use the iPhoto photos for?

  • I can not trensfer foto from Photo Booth to iPhoto

    I receive this message

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS.  So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
    - History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
    - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
    - Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

    HP LaserJet 200 colorMFP M276nw

I adjusted the paper tray to the right size, canged the page size to my custom size. PLEASE HELP!

Welcome to the HP Forums dancer200013,
I see by your post that the custom size isn't printing correctly on the Mac or Windows computers.
I can help you with this issue today.
On the Windows computer, click on start, control panel, printers and faxes, right click the printer, left click properties, click preferences, the effects tab should be selected as actual size. Then select the Paper/Quality tab. Click on the custom button. Type in the size, type in a name you want to use, select save and OK. (if the name is too long the save button won't be active)
Close the preferences window and reopen it again.
Then on the paper/quality tab or Printing Shortcuts tab. Under paper size select the new paper size by the name you just created.
    Test the printer.
    Hope this helps.
    Have a nice day.
    Thank You.
