Can I programmtically pair a bluetooth connection LV2009

Past post from 2007 indicate that there is no pairing function in labview, however I would like to revisit this question now with LabVIEW 2009.  I looked in the examples, and look on the bluetooth connectivity pallete, still no pairing but I"m sure there must be a way to do it programatically.
Wii users have been finding ingenious ways to do things with their wii remotes, maybe one of the wii users would like to comment?
Is there anyway to use labview to programatically pair bluetooth?  A dll?  .net? anything?

A clever program, but I don't see where it allows pairing with a bluetooth device?  There isn't a pop up or place to enter pairing ID

  • I can't get a reliable bluetooth connection betwee...

Hi everyone, I'm new here and already need help. I've recently bought a Nokia 206 and fitted it with a 16Gb micro SD, hoping to copy over some MP3 music files from my PC. I bought a Trust Bluetooth 3.0 USB dongle and installed it on my PC (running Windows 7 Professional). I'm new to Bluetooth so on a learning curve but I managed to get the phone recognised and installed as a device on the PC, paired it and successfully transferred one file but then it appeared to disconnect - at least it wouldn't transfer any more.
I tried various things including removing it from the Windows device list then I couldn't get it to re-recognise as a device. I eventually got around this by uninstalling and reinstalling the Trust software but again I only managed to transfer one file then it seemed to disconnect again.
In desperation I tried installing the Trust on my laptop running Vista Home Edition. Same problem again except this time it transferred two files before hanging.
I was also unable to transfer a test still photo that I took with the phone onto either computer.
On both computers the transfer rate was abysmally slow.
I was really hoping to be able to use the phone as an MP3 player as I previously had an ExpressMusic and that was great. It's a pity the 206 doesn't have a USB port because it's looking as if I'm not going to be able to use the Bluetooth connection.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Abi99,
The various paths you quoted seem to be a bit different on my 206.
I couldn't find anything in Menu >> Apps >> Gallery >> Images. This was <Empty>, but I found the SD card, named as NO NAME, and in there I found my test photo, stored under 'Images', and my two music files in 'Received files' so these did, in fact, all get stored in the card and not in the phone memory as I had previously thought. This obviously means the Bluetooth file transfer didn't fail due to insufficient memory as there is still 14.3GB free in the memory card.
To get to Camera I had to go via Menu >> Photos >> Camera. Under 'Settings' there isn't a 'Phone storage' but there is 'Photo storage' and that is set to 'Memory card', which confirms my finding above.
Whilst navigating the above I finally found out how to rename the SD card to something sensible.
I wish there was a manual available that would give the above information in more detail. The little booklet supplied with the phone is quite useless for any advanced functions and I can't find anything on the Nokia website.
I think I must have been using a form of Bluetooth File Explorer in the Trust software, as it allowed me to multiple-select the source files for transfer and I now know that it stored them in the SD card, but I can't confirm this or give you the information you requested regarding the software stack unless I re-install the Trust software. Since I haven't been able to make this work reliably on two different PCs and versions of Windows I'm naturally reluctant to try it again.
plepleple - Surely the SD card must be basically ok since I've found the transferred files on it.

  • Can't use internet with bluetooth connection between iPhone and macbook

My iPhone and my macbook both show that I have a successful bluetooth connection, but I can't use the internet on my macbook.  What might be the problem?

Basic question: Do you have a tethering plan with your carrier? It isn't automatically provisioned; you have to ask for it and pay extra with most carriers. See these tips from Apple:

  • DM6 can't sync with a Bluetooth connection

    Hi,
Since my system update automatically to DM6 yersterday, I cannot sync my Blackberry Pearl 8120 with my Outlook 2007 on my Dell Studio laptop computer with the Bluetooth connection.
The sync work flawlessly on the USB connection.  When I try the Bluetooth connection I receive this error message: Blackberry Desktop Software cannot communicate with the connected terminal.
When I check the Display Bluetooth Peripharals on my Dell BT icon, I see my BB 8120 and in the list of peripherals functions I see 2 Bluetooth Peripherals with a yellow triangle on the side.
When I click on these i can read the message: Drivers for this peripheral are not installed.
Why DM6 remove theses drivers and where I can find them???

  • Why can't I use a Bluetooth connection to Use iPhone to control Keynote on iPad?

The help function in Keynote for iPad explains how this should work, but it doesn't!

I have the same issue. Anyone figure this out? When teaching, cannot use wi-fi since requires log-in (which times out on the iPhone). Supposedly should be able to use Bluetooth to connect, but the iPad does not see the iPhone even though both are discoverable.
    Really need this to work!

  • Please help can we implement datasource for bluetooth connections

hi i my application reads data from bluetooth from PC to mobile now iam using streamconnections iam sending audio data from pc to mobile and for this in my mobile side i would like to implement the datasource for incomming bluetooth data is it possible if so how i can do it....

You should post this in CLDC and MIDP forum and not in this.
Anyway coming to your question now can you tell why do you want to maintain a datasource and what actually you mean by data source in this context. If you want to maintain a list of the data that is transferred to the mobile then it can be done.

  • PC Suite Upgrade has disabled my bluetooth connect...

    Hello!
After using an older version of Nokia PC Suite that came with my model 6233 phone, I decided to upgrade to 6.82.22.0. The older version worked via Bluetooth without any trouble. With the new version, I can no longer make a Bluetooth connection to my phone.
Using the PC (running Windows XP Prof.) Bluetooth connectivity software, I can see and interact with my phone. (I am using an Acer USB Bluetooth device).
When I completly delete all pairings and pair via the Nokia PC Suite software, I can get to the point at which a pairing code must be entered. Upon entering the code and accepting via the phone. . .nothing happens. The button labeled 'next' remains gray and after waiting 20 minutes I am forced to 'cancel'. When I go back to try the process again, the phone is no longer visible. (Via the PC software, yes, but via the Nokia software, no.)
Can anyone help me solve this problem?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

I used "Add/Remove Programmes" in Control Panel. It might also be the "Cable Connectivity solution" that Software updater installs. so I uninstalled that - but that broke my cable connection, so I could be wrong.... Either way, I'm now able to connect via Bluetooth which is the main thing.

  • IPhone 4S will not pair or connect to Bluetooth since IOS 7.1.2 upgrade, have done troubleshooting, on phone and with Honda Handsfree link, can no longer pair bluetooth devices with phone after un-pairing them

iPhone 4S upgraded to IOS 7.1.2. Since then, Honda Handsfreelink would not connect, I un-paired and re-paired phone on 2 prior occasions successfully. Now I deleted system settings in car, tried to pair another BlueTooth (Plantronices M20 that had previously been paired wtih iPhone unsuccessfully. I have tried troubleshooting with Honda HFL, Verizon Tech Support, reset network settings on phone and I can no longer get the Bluetooth to pair. I was told to bring phone to VZW store. I was also told to reset phone to default settings which I do not want to do.

How to Pair Your Plantronics M20 Bluetooth Headset, M20 Pairing Guide - Plantronics Headsets from Headsets Direct
You have to reset the plantronics device before you can pair successfully. With my new iPhone the plantronics web site said to reset the headset and then pair.
Your car dealership is best equipped to connect to your phone with your Honda. Physically go to the dealership.

  • Can I have 2 Bluetooth connection active at the same time? Works with other phones...

Is it possible to have one Bluetooth connection for "phone audio" and a 2nd connection for "A2DP" music streaming at the same time on my iPhone 5? My car-stereo has Bluetooth for phone calls but NOT for audio streaming. However, there's a 3.5mm aux in on the head unit. On my S5 I can create one Bluetooth connection to the car-stereo and select "phone audio" and a 2nd for my Bluetooth aux-in adapter. It works perfect since months but last week I changed back to an iPhone (5s) and it appears that I can only have ONE BT connection active at a time!?  Any ideas anyone?

    Hi SwedelostinAmerica,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
The iPhone can maintain multiple pairing records, but it can only connect to one headset or hands-free device at a time. However, in your situation there may be a solution. You can connect the iPhone via Bluetooth for calls and use the 3.5mm jack on your iPhone and car radio to connect for music.

  • HT204387 My iphone and ipad can see each other on bluetooth but can't connect

When I touch to connect, I get an error that reads 'make sure the iphone is turned on and in range". I can see the bluetooth connection on both devices, they just won't connect. I have turned off wifi on both devices. I have also tried connecting to & from both devices.

I downloaded an app that can share a presentation loaded on one device with up to 15 other iOS devices. It said it would work over bluetooth.  I didn't realize you couldn't "pair" the devices but still use bluetooth. The developer said just to turn them both on and low and behold, it works like a charm and I feel silly.
Thanks for your interest, I've learned a lot today.

I can't get Droid Turbo bluetooth to work in my 2005 Prius.  Droid Razr worked fine.  It seems to pair OK, and everything works great immediatly after pairing.  After stopping and restarting car there is a message saying it found bluetooth device, I can still place a call with the car system, but no sound or microphone connection to the car system.  Android tech support just said, "yea, that happens."  I have version 4.4.4.  Any ideas?

    Automata,
Oh no. Is never fun having issues with bluetooth. Did you have this issue with any of your previous devices? When this happens what steps do you take to get it working again?

  • IPhone 5 won't pair with Bluetooth or connect to Wi-fi since reset

I reset my iphone 5 just before the latest update and since then it will not work on the bluetooth connection to my car.  It goes the whole way through the pairing process but then fails as the passkey is incorrect. I updated the software in the car, I also checked another Iphone 5 and it works so it is not the car.  I am now having the same problem with wi-fi, when connecting to a network it says the password is incorrect when it isn't. I have reset all connections, upgraded the software etc but it still wont work.  Any ideas?

So let me see if I understand this. You have photos that are very important that you would like to get them back and you have 2-years worth of pictures and you have NEVER backed up the phone?
You can try after letting the device charge for at least 20 minutes to do a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home button together until you see the Apple logo and then release. This should reboot the phone. If that does happen, I suggest you connect to your computer as soon as possible and you import the photos to the computer before you lose them completely. You should import photos from the phone as soon as you can after taking them, just like you would with a digital camera. And, without a backup, you will lose all of your data.
