Can i publish my ebooks on itunes u?

Hi, i got this issue or question, can i publish an ebook to the NEWSTAND of ipad and in iTunes U? or just this ebook goes to ibookstore???

To the best of my knowledge, none of the tools for iTunes U are platform-specific. The information on this page, particularly the guides linked from the bottom, should help:

  • Can you upload an ebook to iTunes with a PC?

    Hello,
How do you upload an ebook to iTunes using a PC?  All of the instructions say to use iTunes producer, is there a PC version of iTunes producer?
    Thank you<

There is another option -  IF -  you own an iPad.     Look on the app store for "Book Creator"  - its not mine and I gain nothing from them .
Its only a few dollars to purchase - there is a free version with less facilities.  And today they advise a number of projects to develop the app  and also plan to cater for PC  at some  point during the year.
you can read more  at  redjumper.net
    an extract from their newsletter:
2014 was a year of growth for Red Jumper Studio. In April we ventured for the first time onto a new platform with Book Creator for Android.
There were some major updates to the iPad version too, notably the ability to export books as video and good ol' copy and paste finally arrived! We also translated the app into 10 languages.
    In 2015...
We're aiming bigger still. With the team now up to 5 people, we're planning a version for Windows; a cloud-based web reader for your ebooks; and a redesign of the iPad and Android versions.

  • I can't publish my podcast to iTunes

I've shortened my previously long url to http://web.mac.com/rimmerpaula/iWeb/Jim%20Rimmer/Podcast/Podcast.html plus I've removed an illegal apostrophe
I have another address that forwards to the above url & it is www.jims-jaunts.co.uk
My actual short url (at .mac) is: http://web.mac.com/rimmerpaula
My site now seems to be working well (I had a few issues earlier!)
    I would now like to publish my podcast to iTunes, but have received the following error message;
    bad http result code 404;
    The rss address (is that the right term!?) that iTunes automatically puts in the box is the older dodgy url;
    http://rss.mac.com/rimmerpaula/iWeb/Jim%27s%20jaunts%3A%20the%20musings%20and%20 misadventures%20of%20an%20extremely%20long%20legged%20jack%20russell%20from%20Wa les/Podcast/rss.xml
I tried changing the middle bit to the new shorter address, but same error message.
    Any clever/obvious ideas out there?
    Thanks,
    Paula

Good lord! Good job on shortening your URL...
The new address for your Podcast is as follows...
    http://rss.mac.com/rimmerpaula/iWeb/Jim%20Rimmer/Podcast/rss.xml
    And for your Blog...
    http://rss.mac.com/rimmerpaula/iWeb/Jim%20Rimmer/Blog/rss.xml
You'll have to submit the new URL to the ITMS again here...

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry.

  • Can't publish to iTunes

There are no arrows beside my playlists on iTunes (6.0.4) so I can't publish or share them. My preferences DO specify "Show links to Music Store" but I still don't see arrows next to my playlists. I have unchecked the "Show links" box, restarted, and checked it again - still no arrows.
    Any ideas?
    thanks:)

You have to highlight the playlist to the left of iTUnes, when highlighted the arrow should appear for that playlist

  • I have bought ebook from itunes and i can read it on Ibook on my Iphone, but I want to read book on my macbook what should I do?

I have bought ebook from itunes and i can read it on Ibook on my Iphone, but I want to read book on my macbook what should I do? please help me

...which is a real shame. I 'married' Kindle very early on, so that's my format of choice. I like being able to read on my e-reader or computer. I find it very odd that Apple hasn't come up with a Mac reader for its eBook format.

  • I'm trying to publish an ebook using iAuthor for a client.  We're asked to 'Sign in to iTunes Connect' using the Apple ID a continues to be regected

I'm trying to publish an ebook using iAuthor for a client.  We've been through the systems check and we have all the meta data, screen shots and preview files ready to go. We're asked to 'Sign in to iTunes Connect' using the Apple ID a continues to be rejected - the message that comes up is: YouApple Id or password was entered incorrectly. We've been thought the process (via the link Forgot?) of resetting the password, but still no luck. Help please.

Have you got a developer account, not just a normal Apple ID?

  • TA47831 How can I import a playlist to iTunes?

An old article (http://support.apple.com/kb/TA47831) explained how to export an iTunes playlist to an .m3u file and reimport it.  This functionality no longer works with the newer version of iTunes (I'm running iTunes 10.6 on Windows 7).  This is presumably why the article has been retired and is no longer supported by Apple.
If I export a playlist, change its name, then reimport the result is an empty playlist.  Here is an example of one of the lines from the .m3u file:
    #EXTINF:196,My Happiness - Ella Fitzgerald
    \\NEF\music\Ella Fitzgerald - 50 Classic Hits (disc 2)\Ella Fitzgerald - My Happiness.mp3
As you can see my file is an mp3 on a remote server ("nef") and works perfectly well in the "Music" section of iTunes.
What I really want to do is to import some playlists that have been generated elsewhere (for example using a script to identify all the US hits of the 1980s with the word "power" somewhere in the lyrics).  I figured the easiest way to do that would be to work out what format of playlist iTunes would be able to import and generate one of those, I was somewhat surprised to discover that iTunes can't even import a playlist it has just exported.
How can I import a playlist to iTunes?

    Hi Steve,
I was wondering this myself and a quick Google found your post here along with an Apple support article published three weeks ago. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH1744?viewlocale=en_US
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,

  • How to search ebooks in iTunes if I only know ISBN of one book? How could I know its iTunes book'ID from the isbn?

    Dear community members,
I'm new here. I have a question about searching ebooks in itunes search API.
If I know ISBN of one book, either 10-digit ISBN or 13-digit ISBN, how could I know its ebook ID in itunes store?
In other words, is there any rule that I could convert regular ISBNs to ebook IDs? Or where I could find the reference?
    Thank you.

Try searching Amazon or Barnes & Noble or your local library, if they have an online search, for the ISBN. That will give you the title of the book so you can then search the iBooks store. Or just buy the book from Amazon or B&N as a Kindle or Nook book; both have viewers for Windows and Mac as well as iOS devices.
    Regards.

  • I have been trying to publish my podcast to iTunes with no success – I keep getting the following error message

I have been trying to publish my podcast to iTunes with no success – I keep getting the following error message
We could not complete your iTunes store request. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation. There was an error in the iTunes store. Please try again later.
New to all this and would really appreciate some help.
    Thanks in advance
PS: I should say that I have an ITunes account - I have full permissions over the website etc. I am using Powerpress plug in on a wordpress site.

My guess would be that you've fallen over a glitch in the Store, in which case all you can do is wait a bit and try again, but it is only a guess. Without being able to look at your feed it's not possible to say whether there might be a problem there.

  • Can't publish iWeb due to .png error

can't publish iWeb due to .png error

With as many people that have this same issue, I am very surprised that support is still sleeping at the wheel.  Some of the suggestions border on the absolute absurd (e.g. create new user account, check the system clock, etc.).  I've tried them all, including exclusion from AVAST, resetting router, etc etc etc.  iCloud status shows all green.
As the owner of a software development company, I find it hard to believe Apple, of all support, has been unable to get this issue resolved once and for all.  It would certainly make sense, as well, to collate this issue into a single thread instead of bouncing users off the moon and back.
I spent 1/2 day on the phone with Apple support trying to get iTunes to backup and was promised a call back from the next tier of support.  That was 4 months ago and I still haven't been able to backup my iphone 4S.  I've never seen software that is more kludgy and unreliable with every passing upgrade (sorry, but it's the truth)!
After two years of not being able to back up my phone, I am considering going to a more reliable platform.  After 6 years on the Apple bus, maybe it's time to get off.
