Can I purchase a tv episode but not download it?
Since all my purchases are kept in the cloud and can be streamed to my AppleTV, I have no need to download TV episodes - taking up drive space, Time Machine drive space, lengthening the time it takes to do full volume (SuperDuper!) backups.
If you purchase a TV episode you have to download it, otherwise it will just sit in your account's download queue and resume downloading everytime you connect to the iTunes Store. That said, you could certainly delete it after downloading it, if that is what you want. However, I feel I should mention that items are only available for redownload via the cloud for as long as they are available in the iTunes Store. If that content is ever deleted from the store's catalog, then you won't be able to redownload it. For this reason, it is still a good idea to back up your purchases.

Wake up Apple, you are losing the thing you love most, MONEY!Apple has not explained why they no longer accept debit cards in the iTunes Store. All we, your fellow users, here know is that apparently they don't. I doubt that Apple doesn't know that they lose sales due to this policy, so clearly they have some good reason. What that reason is we can only guess, and my guess is that they feel that the lost sales are less important than the problems causes when someone hacks an iTunes Store account and drains someone's bank account.
If you refuse to own a credit card - and personally I think you're taking a risk since debit cards usually give you much less protection against fraud - then perhaps prepaid iTunes cards would be the way to go.

Can open PDF's on line but not downloaded files!
I had problems downloading/upgrading Adobe 9 until advised to remove Adobe download manager and start again. This I actioned and I now have Adobe 9 on my system. However, before I actioned the above I was advised to try at start up clicking F8 (I believe?) and adjust my resolution down to 800 x 600 - this I did, but, it made no difference, Adobe 9 upgrade would not load. I now find I can open PDF's on line with my upgraded Adobe 9 in full screen resolution, but, all the earlier PDF's on file reduce my screen to 800 x 600 res and still don't open. Is it possible to go back to the first action, click F8 at start up, etc, as detailed above, and reverse it? If it is can someone please repeat the actions I must make i.e. is it F8 I click when I start up my computer, and, what do I then click on the screen, etc, I would be most grateful!

OK - I have looked at what actions advice I was given and it was - Press F8 @ advanced startup options, select VGA mode, Dialog box click OK to start Windows.....could this have restructured my screen resolution for existing PDFs?

Well hi to those few who actually looked at my problem and what a pity no one has been able to help me. It is pretty obvious Adobe doesn't monitor these web pages otherwise I might have been thanking them for their help in sorting my problem out - fat chance!Syncing via the Books tab on your computer's iTunes only syncs books to the iBooks app. If you want the PDFs in Adode Reader or the Kinlde then you will need to sync them via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's Apps tab when connected to your computer's iTunes - I don't think that iBooks supports the direct copying of PDFs from it to other apps

Can someone tell me why my new iPod touch is allowing me to buy songs but not downloading the songs currently being purchased? The new songs actually show up on my iPad but not my iPod which is the device they were purchased on.
Try configuring your iCloud sync settings for music across devices, also go to the iTunes app hit more, then purchased and then hit the download button

I have signed in to my account and am able to brouse media but not download or purchase anything. The "buy" button is also white instead of blue and nothing happens when I click to buy. I am able to make purchaces on the same account on my iphone as well. What might be causing this issue?

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the mislabelled item. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item. -
Before iOS 7 I had previous ringtones I made from songs I purchased. Now they will not download to updated version. Says error... Why? Can this be fixed? I want my music ringtones back.

I checked the list of installed apps like you suggested (Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Show all apps) but this problem app is not in the list. I have also swiped down on the home screen to search for it, but again it does not show.
While it has not let me download the app (and I just tried it again) it has helped me to eliminate a few things from the list of what to try, and I can definitely conclude that it has not downloaded.
I guess I need to fire up my PC and download it / sync my iPad.

After updating my OS, I couldn't get onto my gamecenter account. I created a new nickname to see what would happen. Now I can only access my new nickname, but not my old one. However, my old account has all my scores! I want to delete the new nickname and re-access my old (i.e., original) nickname. Interestingly, my friends can still see my old nickname.

Unforunately you can't. Its like if you went to a video store there in Netherlands and bought a DVD then got it home and found out it was in Dutch and there is no other audio options. There is no way to magically dub the movie in English. Your iTunes and iPod settings only govern your menus and preference IF alternate options is available already coded into the file, but most movies downloaded from iTunes aren't going to have multiple language audio tracks. If you can't access the U.S. or British store and your kids don't speak Dutch yet, then you will just have to find some other way to get movies for them than iTunes.
The reason for this is legal reasons. In the United States I am only able to purchase videos authorized for sale in the United States. In Britain, you are only able to purchase videos authorized for sale in Britain. Same with Netherlands. Now, with DVDs you could get a regionless DVD player and order your DVDs from Britain or America to get English versions, but you can't do that with iTunes... No British address, no British store access. No British store access, no movies in English.

EDIT: OK I have what i HOPE is good news for you.. I double checked my movies and found out that they do in fact have two audio tracks! In my case, both are English, one being Stereo and one being Surround Stereo though SO, when you open the movie, you should see a little chat bubble on the right side of the little popup menu at the bottom of the screen when you move your mouse. Click that, and there MAY be more audio options there... If there isn't, then you really are out of luck.

When I accept a meeting request via email I am unable to designate which calendar I want the meeting to go to. I can do it on my iPhone, but not my MacBook. The calendars are shared with my wife, she is the owner of the calendar but I have Read & Edit permissions.
Are you properly selecting the content to sync in iTunes? I mean you have all of the headings - Sync Music, Sync Movies, etc. checked to sync and all of the content as well?
Is the iPad signed into the same iTunes account as your PC? You are using the same Apple ID and iTunes account on both devices. On the iPad go to Settings>Store>Apple ID - is that the same ID that your iTunes library is using?
Lastly, did you ever transfer the purchases from your iPad to the PC? Is all of the content that you have on the iPad in your iTunes library?
I can't think of any other reasons why the iTunes on the PC as seeing this as a new iPad. -

I would recommend you to use 0FI_AP_4 rather using both, particularly for many reasons -
1. DS: 0FI_AP_4 replaces DataSource 0FI_AP_3 and still uses the same extraction structure. For more details refer to the OSS note 410797.
2. You can run the 0FI_AP_4 independent of any other FI datasources like 0FI_AR_4 and 0FI_GL_4 or even 0FI_GL_14. For more details refer to the OSS note: 551044.
3. Map the 0FI_AP_4 to DSO: 0FIAP_O03 (or create a Z one as per your requirement).
4. Load the same to a InfoCube (0FIAP_C03).

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

in ical I just added new calendars to a pre-existing calendar group, I can make events with these calendars, but not reminders, any suggestions?

Lion has changed the way reminders (todos as was) work. They now seem to need to be in a seperate calendar.
In iCal open the File menu and select New Reminder List... and select where to put it.
