Can I purchase Cloud membership now, but give it later as a gift?

Hi,
I've just registered my daughter for the 30 day Cloud trial - if she likes it, I'd like to purchase her a 12 month subscription as a Christmas present. She's a student, and I can see here: http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud.edu.html that there's a special on the student subscription that ends 30 November 2012.
Am I able to purchse the subscription for her prior to 30 November at the sale rate, but not "activate" the membership until 25 December 2012?

No. The subscription will shift from free to paid when purchased.

You can have functional installations on two machines. The machines have to meet the system requirements for the software.

Does your Cloud subscription properly show on your account page?
If you have more than one email, are you sure you are using the correct Adobe ID?

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

I can't use it, it wants a keychain password which I have no idea about! Does anyone know what to do apparently there is no help from adobe.

The Kindle app has a menu on the very bottom center of the screen that allows you to switch from a device and cloud view. To remove a title from the device, tap and hold on it. a pop menu will apear that allows to add the title to a collection, remove it from the device, or download it from the cloud (depending on its current status).

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

Welcome to Adobe community.
With Creative CLoud for Teams , you need to Invite Users to be a part of the team to actually have the access to all the products , If the invitations are not sent , then they will be running the product as a trial version only.
If youare the program Admin , I would request you to kindly log in to the Admin Console at creative.adobe.com and Invite the user's who need to use the Subscription.

Yes. You are allowed to install up to two platforms and they can be a Mac and a PC.

Pretty much what it says, SIri can't help you right now. I suspect it's a location, nework and/or server issue. Siri is currently Beta and doesn't always work.

You'll have to wait till it downloads much further than. If your download says it will take 14 hours to download, you have a very slow connection. You would never be able to watch the movie until it downloads completly.

Yes, the installer downloads to the Applications folder, if after downloading it asks to continue to do the installation just close that dialogue. Later, when you are ready to install click on the installer in the Applications folder and it will do its thing.

it has been awhile since i had a new copy of photoshop and when i go to look for one to buy it seems adobe has now made it so you can only subscribe to a plan? ugh. seems like i will end up spending even more money that way

You can still purchase a license for Photoshop CS6 700 USD new/200 USD upgrade for the Standard Edition.
Adobe has stopped distribution via boxed dvd-rom. It's all download now.
Be aware that with the exception of bugfixes and OS upgrades, there are no updates.

How can I purchase 10.7 now that 10.8 is available?

Now that Mountain Lion is available, Lion (10.7) is no longer avaialble to purchase on the App Store.
Am I missing something? Where can I purchase 10.7. It is my understanding that we have a machine that is not compatible with 10.8, so that upgrade is not an option.
