I agree) Such cases must be totally controlled by company. Company offer absolutely to everyone dowload links and serial numbers for CS2 software. Millions of users spent their own time to download this stuff. Now CS2 is free. It's good.
But i prefer to buy CS5 (Photoshop, for individual use) from trusted source, instead of sh#ted CS6. Adobe, make a special offer to me, instead of you worst Photoshop ever (CS6 at your market). Why i cant buy old version? It's better for a lot of professional users.

I have branched this out to a separate discussion. -=realsam=- we are not able to offer retail copies of Creative Suite 5 any longer as Creative Suite 6 is our current product offering. If you do have a need for Creative Suite 5 then you are welcome to purchase a volume license and request a backwards license to Creative Suite 5. In effect this will allow us to convert your Creative Suite 6 license to a Creative Suite 5 license.
Because of the complexity of this type of transaction I would recommend you work directly with our Volume Licensing team. We are sorry but you would not be able to update from Creative Suite 4 .The reason being there are no updates available for Acrobat version 9 .It is quite an older version so you are unfortunately not eligible for any updates or upgrade .
The best option for you would be to opt for Acrobat DC .

You cannot install CS5.5 Windows onto your Mac.
You must either purchase a new copy of CS6 for your Mac or join the Creative Cloud (and pay the monthly fee).
If you join the Cloud you can then install CS6 (and soon version CC) on both your Mac and Windows for the same membership fee.

Can't install creative suite 5.5

I can't install Creative Suite 5.5 on a PC running Windows 7. Have tried twice but keep getting "Your installation encountered errors". The most recent time shows 2 error messages:

ERROR: DW013: Cannot initialize payload session
Any suggestions?

OK, I figured out how to get the install log - on my latest (3rd) attempt to install (and between each time powering down and back on again before trying to install again), I got the same 2 errors messages as indicated in my original post. The Install Log is as follows:
