Can i put a phone icon (like Favorites) on main menu?

Favorites is my most frequent use of my iphone. I would like that icon on the main menu without having to choose Phone first. Is that possible?

Variation on a theme, roybens: The only place the folder named Desktop 'is', is in your very own Home folder, which bears your shortname and is found under Users. If there's a folder called simply "Desktop" (spelling counts) in that place, AND if it contains each and every one of the items that are littered about your screen, then that IS your Desktop folder—it's just got a wee icon malfunction. Typical of Finder, not to worry.
Finder cannot work w/o a Desktop for every user, and creates a new folder when you trash the old. Sometimes, OK often, Finder's gets outta sync a bit, and it takes the new folder awhile to show up, or you may try to make one. Finder then adds numbers if it finds there's already an item named Desktop there.
More critically, what's still in that Desktop in the trash that you still want? Whatever it is get it out and into a safe place. Likewise, make sure using Get Info… that the items you see on the desktop are in Users/roybens/Desktop and not in Users/roybens/Trash/Desktop. Move'em or copy them.
Perhaps you found no Desktop in your home folder? Then make one and call that the safe place. Or maybe you found a folder called "Desktop 21-34-76" or the like; strip off the numbers and do as above. You may have to open and close the Home window a coupla times to nudge Finder along. As long as you have the stuff, it's up to you whether you put everything back into the folder called Desktop now or later. While you're tidying,you can poof the Sidebar and Dock DTs if you hav'em.
Once you're confident that nothing's missing. Log out and back in or Restart, and do your maintenance. What you should see is that the new Desktop has been blessed w/ the Desktop icon, while the one in the Trash is generic. Create a couple of new empty folders called Desktop and chuck 'em in to the trash to see the numbering thing, if you're feeling giddy. Or just reset your Sidebar and Dock and get back to business.

Are you trying to change one of the system level folder icons (so that every folder of that type uses your new icon) or specific folder icons for folders you have created?
The first requires special techniques that modify system level resources & is not recommended unless you know exactly what you are doing.
The second should work just like in the article.

You can't make an alias to it but you can do it with AppleScript. Open the AppleScript Editor and paste in the following:
tell application "Finder"
activate
tell application "System Events" to keystroke "K" using {command down, shift down}
end tell
Save it with a suitable name, as an Application, making sure that 'Run only', 'Startup Screen' and 'Stay open' are not checked. Now double-clicking it will open the Network window.

Plug the cable into the iPhone and into a USB port directly on your computer, not a USB hub. Also make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes.

When I move the cursor over this area, the rainbow cursor appears and nothing can be selected. Niel, I followed your suggestion, but nothing seemed to change. I couldn't find the exact file, but found one that was very similar....com.apple.systemuiserver.plist...... I dragged the icon to the desktop and then attempted to move it to the upper right corner, but the rainbow cursor was displayed and nothing happened. Do you have any other ideas? I am concerned by the 'non help' , customer service platitudes available to me as a customer. I was left 3 minutes to go through auto call filtration to be told that there is no-one to speak to. I am a new customer, clearly I have a different view of what customer service is. I wonder what exec has ever tested this? Because they are a large US corporation that doesn't really want to talk to customers one on one. They hide behind call-centers and help sites that are hard to use. It's just better for the bottom line and no one person (or very few) knows enough to give you a useful answer. This is not just an Adobe problem. But large corporations generally suck at service. It's not good enough - but what are you going to do. That said we've had reasonable success with the online chat service - just takes days rather than minutes to get satisfactory answers.

This is typical, so generally we contact support as a last resort only. Google usually has better answers. But then this is what Adobe and most Large Software companies/Corporations want. You almost never get to talk to the "Horses mouth", a manager with clout, the product designer or developer.
We design, build and manage brand experiences for a number of large enterprises, personally we always recommend that these customers set up their support with real phone numbers and email along with contact forms (which I personally hate). In my mind typically you can deal with support matters in the fraction of the time if you can talk to someone directly who knows the product. A good telephone receptionist is 100 times more efficient than any call center (no matter what call center companies and software vendors tell you - the numbers lie). It means Happier customers. Better feedback to those who make the decisions.
Better all round. But usually companies don't see it that way. Managers want remove themselves as far as possible from customers everyday problems and let an underling or "the system" deal with it.
Maybe that's why few humans actually like dealing with large faceless corporations - yet we do, we put up with it - because they can get away with it.
