Can i put internet in my ipad3

I have a new Ipad3 Wifi and i wana know if i can get internet here ??

The iPad 3 CAN get Internet, which lets you download music, apps, videos, movies, books, and magazines, go to the Safari, and let's you watch videos on YouTube. But if you don't have Internet at home, you can't use the Internet there. But you can purchase a WIFI device that you can take anywhere, or you can go to a place like McDonalds that offers free WIFI.

  • How can I use the gps without internet in my Ipad3 - 4G

How can I use the gps without internet in my Ipad3 - 4G. Do I need to download any additional app than the one that already came with it?

The Maps app included in iOS, at least as of the current version, requires an Internet connection, so you'll need to get an app that allows you to download maps to be kept on the iPad. MotionX GPS Drive is one such app, but there are others available.
    Regards.

  • My pc is down and I'm trying to put a wep for this router so no one can use my internet but me. Is there anyway I can set a password with an iPad as I don't have a desktop or laptop?

My pc is down and I'm trying to put a wep for this router so no one can use my internet but me. Is there anyway I can set a password with an iPad as I don't have a desktop or a laptop. Please help.

The AirPorts, unlike routers provided by other manufacturers, do not provide a web-based administration interface ... so the PS3 or any browser would not work.

  • Can I put Microsoft Internet explorer on my ipad mini?

Can I put Microsoft Internet explorer on my ipad mini ?

No. Microsoft Internet Explorer runs on Windows based devices, There is no version for Apple Devices.
The iPad comes with Safari as its default browser.
There are also alternative browsers in the App Store liike Chrome, Opera among many others.
Perhaps one of those may work for you.

  • Hi can I tether my HTC Desire S to my Ipad3 so I can access the internet? Thks

Hi can I tether my HTC Desire S to my Ipad3 so I can access the internet? Thks

From my understanding only the iPhone can create a "personal hotspot" (or tether).  Other smartphones can also create personal hotspots, however, the iPad is not currently capable of natively offering a tethering solution.

My safari can connect to the Internet, but other apps can't. I am using ipad3 wifi edition

I have managed to resolve it. What I found is I typed in a wrong password when one app loaded. That app gave a misleading network connectivity error. Other apps are connecting fine now.

  • IPhone can't access internet via home Airport network

    Hello,
a work colleague of mine has an iMac at home with a single Airport Express unit through which he plays music. He connects his iMac to the internet via an ethernet cable. He has just purchased an iPhone with an Orange contract. His son also has an iPhone through his employer.
Neither my colleague nor his son can access the internet with their iPhones via my colleague's home Airport network. Both iPhones recognise the Airport network, evidenced by the 'fan' icon that appears on their iPhones.
    (Hope the above makes sense.)
I have emailed my colleague several 'help' articles, including those put out by Apple. My colleague has also communicated with someone from Apple (AppleCare I think?) but the problem persists.
Both iPhones apparently perform okay apart from this one irritating instance. Can anyone suggest what is wrong?
    Many thanks,
    Bob.

If it's an N Airport, I have heard that iPhones don't play well with N routers even if they are backward compatible with G.
Otherwise, they could try going into Settings/Wifi. See if the network shows up. Try clicking on it and see if it connects.
If that doesn't work click on the little arrow on the right side next to the network. This will reveal the network settings. Make sure that it's set on DHCP if that is how they acquire an IP address or static if that's what they use. If it's static, you'll have to put in the settings.

  • Laptop can't access Internet through Westell 7500 router

My son came home from college with a laptop that is running Tiger 10.4.10. If he takes his laptop to the local library and uses the wireless network there, he can access the Internet. But, his laptop does not appear to work with our Westell 7500 router. He is getting an error message that says "There was an error in joining the airport network..."
The router works fine with our 10.5.2 (Leopard) iMac and it also works with PC laptops.
I checked System Preferences-Network- Show - Airport, under the TCP/IP settings. The IP address is set to 192.168.1.1, which is the address of our gateway. The router and DNS server fields are blank. The iPv4 field is set to configure manually.
I have tried putting the IP address into both the router and DNS server fields but this does not work.
I have searched the Discussions but there does not appear to be anyone with this problem who has this type of router. Does anyone know what the settings should be for the laptop and router to communicate?

It won't work if you try to give it the same ip as the router.

The easiest way is to get the settings from the iMac and put the same settings into the laptop. At least, that is a good start. How is your router configured? It is quite unusual to use "configure manually". Are you sure this is correct? If you're not sure, try "Using DHCP" instead. Leave everything else blank. See if that works.
It isn't really a question of which particular router but more of how the router is configured. That's why looking at the iMac which does work with your set up may be a good place to start.
Try those two strategies. If that doesn't work, let me know what settings the iMac is using.

  • I can't put my windows xp to standby without loosing the connection...

So I can't put the windows xp machine in standby mode without loosing the internet connection. According to my LAC icon I still have a connection and if I "repair" it, it says it can but still no joy. It will work just fine after I restart the comp but that kind of destroys the whole idea of standby mode (having a saved session and all). This never happened before I installed the airport.

So, I think I've solved all my issues with the airport and my xp machine.
I did some other research and found that there might have been a issue with my zone alarm firewall and the airport. I turned it off and everything has been working good all day. I turned it on and I was back to my comp not recognizing the airport and no connectivity when I went to sleep mode and came back.
If you're running zone alarm and are having these kinds of issues.
Try and turn off ZA, if that solves the issue, turn ZA back on and go to:
Zone Alarm > Firewall (on the left side) > Zones tab (top right)> ADD (bottom right) > Host Site (top of popup menu).
When the dialog comes up, make sure the "zone" is "trusted, type in the name of your aiport (ie; house, my airport, what ever you named it when you set it up, if unsure, start the aiport from the start menu and see what it says), under "description I just put "airport router".
Then the "lookup" button comes into focus and you press it. It will find the ip address press "ok" and that is it!
BTW- My XP firewall is off.
So far so good for me. Maybe this weekend I'll see if I can get the external HD to work....(crosses fingers and knocks on wood).

  • Can i put osx mountain lion on a 1998 i mac

can i put osx mountain lion on a 1998 i mac

Klaus pretty much sums it up.
This iMac is 15 years old.
Plus, this was THE very first model of iMac. It had a lot of hardware/software limitations.
The Internet was different place, then.
There is no way this iMac will stream any online video content. And probably NOT even play downloadable online video content.
You can't even install a more up to date OS X version (like OS X 10.4 Tiger- which came out in 2005) to even attempt to access the more modern Internet and maybe have a chance of getting a useful Internet experience out of this iMac.
More improved models of this iMac design that came after (2000-2001) could run OS X 10.4 Tiger, at least making these iMacs more suitable to use and navigate today's Internet.
Your model was the first of its kind and had a lot of bugs that were eventually worked out of it over time and newer models.

  • If my ipod's dead can we put in new batteries or is that impossible?

ok...i need to now something. can we put in new batteries into our ipods. because mine died like two days ago and i've tried everything to get it to work again and it's really annoying me.
    new   Windows 2000
    new   Windows 2000

Sure. Do an internet search as there are lots of companies selling iPod batteries. Most sell a service where you send in the iPod and they send it back with a new battery. But there are some places where you can buy the battery if you want to do it yourself.
