Can I put iWORKS 09 back on my recalled iMac (Mac OS X 10.7.5)

I have a iMac from 2009 that was recently recalled.
When I got it back PAGES, NUMBERS, and KEYNOTE, wasn't on it.
I want to re-install the iWORK 09 package, but is it still compatible?
I have Mac OS X 10.7.5 operating system (AND is that Mountain Lion?)

Yes, still compatible.
No, 10.7 is Lion. 10.8 is Mountain Lion.

Restore the backup of your library from the old drive?
See Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

How can I put download file back on dock?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
If you want to put a folder in the Dock, open a Finder window and drag the folder to the right part of the Dock. In this case, you want to put the Downloads folder in the Dock again, so open a Finder window and drag Downloads from the Finder sidebar to the right part of the Dock

  • I was told I can use my router to back up windows 7 & my mac laptop.  How do I do that?

I was told I can use my router to back up windows 7 & my mac laptop.  How do I do that?

First of all TC out of the box is not compatible with windows..
So change all the names to short, no spaces, pure alphanumeric.
TC name, wireless names.. (different for 5ghz) and hard disk name.
Set WPA2 Personal (AES) security with 8-12 character alphanumeric passkey.
On the file sharing page, set the workgroup correctly to WORKGROUP.
I recommend turn on the guest account to read and write.
Load airport utility for windows into the windows PC.. you can use it to do the above. Or do it from the Mac.
    Open Windows Explorer..
    In the address bar type
\\TCname or \\TCIPaddress.. obviously changing those for the real name or IP address.
Then create a new directory in the TC so you keep the windows files separate.

  • Can I put OS X Tiger on a 2003 iMac g3

I have a 2003 iMac g3 that currently runs OS 9.2.2, can I update it to OS X Tiger?

Your Topic "Can I put OS X Tiger on a 2003 iMac G3" is somewhat contradictory.  The last iMac G3s (700 MHz) were discontinued in 2002, so if you have an iMac manufactured in 2003, it would be a G4 model.  There is no mistaking one for the other.  The G4 models had an LCD flat-screen display situated above a half-spherical, white base.  The older iMac G3s had a somewhat egg-shaped housing, with a CRT-type picture tube display.  If your iMac is a G4 model, you can run Leopard - but (as previously mentioned) you need the retail/universal installer disk and not a Restore disk for another Mac.  If you do have a G3 iMac, Tiger is the highest OS that you can run and is natively supported on those iMacs having FireWire ports.  Some models don't, including the tray-loading optical drive models (233, 266, and 333 MHz) and the 350 MHz (Blueberry and Indigo) slot-loading optical drive models.

  • HT201274 If i use the "Erase all Content and Data" button can I put an app back on the phone that is no longer in the app store but is store on the itunes in my computer?

I have an app, no longer in the app store, that i want to keep an iphone i'm getting rid of. I backed up the iphone on itunes and deleted all data, but the app, manually. I want to erase all data, and then put the app back on the phone. Please advise. Thanks

Then as I said you can do an Erase All Content and Settings which will wipe the phone. Completely. In order to add a game from your iTunes you will have to activate the iPhone with your Apple ID and then sync the game. You don't have to sync anything else. But you will need to sell the phone with your Apple ID on it.

  • How can i put my songs back on my laptop?

my laptop got a virus, so i had to restore everything, and everything got deleted (folders, photos, programs, itunes, everything) and now i have my iphone with all my songs in it and i dont know how to put them all back in my new itunes. Please Help

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.  Ise your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone:  File>Transfer Purchases

Yes as long as your apps have been optimised for iOS 8 you can re install them from cloud in your purchases.

  • How many computers can I put iWork on?

I have two computers and one iWorks. Can I install it on both? I imagine if I'm not supposed to, it won't let me. I don't wan't to be stealing it.
    Thanks!

In fact, you can't install iWorks, there is no such a product. Maybe you asked about iWork
The Pages's Licence which you may read thru the Pages > About Pages menu item is clear:
    one machine — one copy
We are not allowed to install one copy on two machines.
To do that, the correct soluce is the Family pack.

  • Can't put my clock back into my menu bar

I had some operating glitches with my 27" iMac running on 10.8.3 yesterday so I verified my permissions using Disk Utility. However, since I did this, I can't get my clock back into the menu bar. When I access it in System Prefs, and click on 'Clock' I get a beachball for a while. Then it allows me to check 'show date and time in menu bar'. But after some more spinning ball, it unchecks the box itself. What's going on? Anybody know?

Thanks! I had done that, but not re-started properly. All good now.

  • How can i put out the back ground music???

how can I set off the back ground music??

I'm afraid your question is not clear. If you don't want music playing, close iTunes.  If the music is on a web site that you are visiting, mute your sound -  System Preferences>Sound>mute.

  • Can I put these drives from my old PPC power Mac G5 in my brand new Mac Pro

My old Mac stopped working and it was time for a new one. I think the motherboard died. Can I put my old hard drives in the empty bays on the brand new Mac? I have
Seagate ES 2 750 GB Serial ATA
    Hitachi HDS722525VLSA80 SATA 250 GB
    Thanks in advance
    Steve

Should not be a problem, but that doesn't mean that just having the PPC system doesn't / hasn't affected one or two users.
The safest way is to put it in a FW case of course, a way to mount it after boot up.
Run the Mac Pro as is for a day. Clone the system, may as well get started with backup and fall back if needed. Even run Apple Hardware Test. Get to know everything works, booting, monitor and everything, and that it sleeps/wakes and does all the normal things it should properly.

  • How can I download iWork '08 onto my new 2012 iMac?

Just purchased the new iMac which has no disc drive. That's fine, but I need to upload the discs with my programs (ie iWork '08, Adobe Photoshop). Is there a place I can just download the program and then enter in my product key? I don't want to buy an external drive just so I can upload these discs. Any suggestion?

OK, so Remote Disc is definitely the way to go if you have another Apple computer with a disc drive. I now have iWork '08 loaded onto my new iMac. Here's what I did:
On the computer with the disc drive go into System Preferences
    Click on Sharing
Check off the box that says DVD or CD Sharing
Then on the computer without the disc drive open up a Finder box
    Click on Remote Disc
The computer with the disc drive should show in the window
Insert the disc you want into the disc drive
Go back to the Finder window which shows the computer with the disc drive
Double click the icon for the computer and it should open up a window showing the DVD or CD that you inserted in the disc drive.
    Worked perfectly for me.

  • How can I put garage band on my iPad from my Mac book pro

No. Mac programs are built for a different OS and hardware platform. You can buy an iOS version of GarageBand, iMovie, or iPhoto.
