I recently graduated from college and I am starting graduate school in the fall. I got an educational license for Adobe Creative Suite free while at univeristy. Now I bought a new computer to use for graduate school. Can I transfer the Adobe Creative Suite onto the new computer? I would hate to lose the program because its been a great learning tool, but I don't have the money to buy a new version of it.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of years ago I purchased Adobe Creative Suite Web Premium for my PC at work - not via the Creative Cloud. They recently gave me a new computer, but now the install of this is not on the new one.

Can I re-install Adobe Creative Suite from an external hard drive?

After an appointment in the Genius Bar I have decided to have my mac's hard drive completely wiped. I had installed Mavericks and it caused a lot of my Adobe programs to stop working probably, the girl in the mac store said this was because the Adobe Master Collection CS4 is incompatible with Mavericks. So I'm having to take my Mac in to be completely wiped so that Lion can be reinstalled. I have ran time machine on an external hard drive to back up all my files, including my Adobe master collection. When I get back Mac back, can I reinstall my Adobe programs just from my external hard drive? If so, how do I do this?

You can try with migration assistant.. but I think you would be much better doing install from original disks. You can recover your working files etc..
Alot will depend on what you have done with Time Machine since you upgraded to Mavericks. If you did not do any TM backups you could have simply restored the computer from TM.

How many times can I download from Adobe Creative Cloud, and on how many computers

I just purchased a one month plan from Adobe Creative Cloud and already downloaded several programs. Unrelated to Adobe, I reinstalled the operating system on my computer today. I just downloaded the programs again. Is there a limit on how many times I can download Adobe software? I also am planning on purchasing another computer down the road. How many computers can I download Adobe software from my current Adobe Creative Cloud membership.

You can download and install it as many times as you like but you must activate it in order to use it.
You can only activate the software on a maximum of two computers at any one time.
You can deactivate on a computer via Help > Deactivate and re-activate via the same step.

Why can't I download Adobe Creative Suite 6?

I purchased it from TechSoup (a company that makes software available at discounted prices to nonprofits, through donations from tech companies) and it was working fine on my old computer. I have the disks. I got a new ASUS computer that does not have a disk drive, so I have to download the software, following the TechSoup instructions (I have a serial number). I have tried to download using both Firefox (failed) and then Chrome (failed). Using Firefox, when I am instructed to click on the files to download a blank screen pops up; nothing else happens. I've instructed Firefox NOT to block popups. In Chrome, when I am instructed to click on the files to download, it opens a window that has nothing to do with the download. I have turned my computer off and restarted more than a couple of times. HELP!!!

Hi all
I installed on my iMac the Yosemite and now I can't start my Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Programs (Student and Teacher Edition). There is a message, that I have to install an old Java SE 6 Runtime-Version.
How can I install this Java Version? I can't find it on the internet.
Are there other possibilities that solve the problem?
What would be the best upgrade-possibility?

This is something to do with certificate handling and compatibility issues. you need to hack some .plist file, I believe... I keep forgetting the exact solution and don't have a link handy, so perhaps ask in the more active forums for PS or AI perhaps...
