Can i put .vob files on hd

I want to copy the vob files off my dvds for backups and later if I want for editing versus popping in a dvd to rip all the time, is mas the ripper good for this

Well they are home movies, honest...I dont have the need to rip dvds, in fact I dont like dvds, which is way I want to rip these.
My goal is to rip these dvds , save in the best format possible for backup onto my external hds, later on make copies of them and edit those copies deleting bad footage and maybe adding music and then saving those as the actual videos I would watch on my mac and also on my hdtv via apple tv or ps3, I have a ps3, well actually my son does and at this point debating on the apple tv at this point since ps3 can do what apple tv can do pretty much as far as streaming except no front row.
I have used handbrake and set as mp.4, problem is when I open qt pro and trim them up I do not see an option to resave them as mp4 only mov, mp4 seems to be the apple tv/ps3 friendly format.
I would like to edit in imovie, maybe fc express soon, however to import a mp4 in imovie it says like 300 hours , forget it...I am guessing this is because imovie converts it to dv, which if it is coming from mp4, what would be the point.
So in a nutshell, I want 3 files as lossless as possible on my external hd, and then 3 other files which would be smaller and edited and converted for ps3/apple tv viewing on a 50 inch sony 1080p tv.
I dont want the dvds, once this is done trash they go, and once again they are not commercial, I watch / pay for all my movies via on demand.
Also what does the software you mention do that mac the ripper or handbrake cant do, I am confused.

you can use common storage or local disks to store Archive Log Files
But Oracle need archive log locations to share on every nodes to helpful about backup + recovery from archivelog files.

These may either be located on local file systems on each node or in a shared file system that can be accessed by all nodes. While space considerations may dictate that archived redo logs be stored on local file systems, Recommend that you attempt to locate these files on a shared file system. That is because it may be necessary to restore these files and a remote node may be performing the restore.

Make a new folder and put them in that different folder. Then the names can be the same as others already on your drive.

Closest you could get to this I think is to explode all your jars into the same parent directory. Then if you put that directory on the classpath, you should be able to access all classes in all jar files

Can't put a file in DW

I manage a bunch of sites in DW, and just recently when I put a file it seems to go OK, no error message, but it doesn't show up on the site. This only happens with one site, that I've been doing for a couple years. All other sites OK. So I tried Filezilla, and that doesn't work either with this one site. When I look at the files in the cpanel they aren't there, but I can upload them OK using cpanel. Perms are 0644 or 0755. Checked all the options in DW, manage sites, test server etc, all OK. I did upgrade to Lion recently. What gives with this one site?

Sounds like an ownership issue which is different from a permissions issue. On a Unix system, including your Mac, there are read/write permissions which you looked at and then there are ownership permissions, usually defined with a group and a user. More than likely these are wrong. If you are in a dedicated or VPS environment, you should be able to make things changes through a dedicated FTP client like Filezilla or Transmit. However, if you are in a shared environment, more than likely you do not have system permissions to modify file ownership, in which case you would need to contact your host who should be able to easily verify and fix this on your account.

I am very stupid that installing sun java, oracle jdbc driver etc....(because i must set a lot of thing such as classpath,java_home etc), Can i only use JBuilder to do that ?
Or i must install oracle jdbc driver ?

My guess here is that Sun's JDBC-ODBC bridge doesn't handle the BLOB datatype. Most ODBC drivers don't support that datatype, so I wouldn't expect the bridge to.
Is there a reason that you can't use the Oracle driver?
