I realized after installing Lion, I should have cleaned out my computer and reformat, put snow leapard back, does it cost me to redownlaod Lion?
Why would you bother. Boot while holding the Option key. You will see an option to boot to the Lion installation partition. You can do a clean re-install from there.

My iPod Touch can no longer download Podcast Videos after upgrading to iOS4
After upgrading OS 3.1.3 to iOS4, My iPod Touch (2nd Generation) can no longer download such video podcasts as NBC News, CBS News, ABC News and Cranky Geeks from iTunes store. The moment the download starts, there is always an annoying prompt "this video cannot be played on this iPod".
It's really frustrating!!!Same thing happening to mine also, still cant find a reason.

Could someone please advise on my current problem? Apparantly I can no longer download tones to my phone or account to be used as such since the tones are being downloaded as songs that cannot be transferred or placed in the tones area for the phone or in iTunes. Prior to the last update, this was always an option. I have also noticed that the Ringtones and Alert Tones are not showing up in my recent purchases as well to allow for me to place them back on my phone and there for require for them to be purchased again... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I've discovered that all tones purchased will be downloaded as ringtones, BUT they can be utilized as tones and assigned as alert tones on the iPhone...

I have updated my iPhone 3Gs to the latest software in an attempt to iron out a problem with a new telephone network provider (Tmobile). I had backed up my phone before I did this. Now I have lost my music and apps. I can't sync the phone with my Mac, I can't re-download from iTunes as the phone says I don't have any music or apps available to re-download although it all shows up on my Mac. The music and app content cannot be restored when I try to restore the phone from the back up I madeon my Mac. Help!
Working on that now. I'm just getting frustrated that everytime I run updates for the phone I end up with tech problems that I have to spend time solving as opposed to updates that actually improve my usage. Now I will once again get to spend hours reloading my phone all for updates that didn't affect my usage in the first place.

Whenever i try to login with my apple ID , it says this ID is not yet used on itunes. & because of this i can't even download apps. Please someone tell me what should i do ? ASAP.

i currently have a macbook 2.1xersion 10.6.8 and want to update. what can it support? Everything i try, it won't support! I can't even download IPhoto! I can't open anything in my ICloud account either! its not on my current browser nor am i able when logging onto my ICloud account. Can anyone give me some advice besides buying a newer laptop?
Lion 10.7.5 is as far as you can go. You must have at least 2 GBs of installed RAM.
Upgrading from Snow Leopard to Lion or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99.
If you sign into the App Store and try to purchase Mountain Lion but the App Store says your computer is not compatible then you may still be able to upgrade to Lion per the following information.

Regarding iTunes U courses, would I be able to link to books/sites (like say an amazon hardback book or link to a kindle book they can purchase and download). Considering that not all books are available on iBooks I'm hoping this is allowed. Also the possibility on monetizing since amazon gives commission for linking.
This question is for both the uncredited (private) courses and the bigger accredited accounts. I am a developer trying to learn how to help my area schools and also have some ideas for my own courses. Obviously keeping within the iTunes U app would be preferred in most cases (to the learning experience) since they can take notes and see them within the app itself.
If the reply comes from a non-apple employee please let me know (or better yet, link to) where that is clarified. I would hate to develop something just to later find out it is against the apple iTunes U agreement.Fair question
And, to be even more fair, I have to tell you that I get that every single day. And it's getting worse (or better, depending on how you look at it).
I always try to let people know it's a long way until you get to a confortable point, a point where you can create something. And that's exactly what I am trying to do, or at least asking how/if I should do it. And then I let them know where to start. That's what I want.

Can i re download music etc purchased on my account?
My daughters ipod broke and has been replaced with a new one. Also, her itunes was on a laptop that too is not accessible. She has a new laptop and new ipod. All purchased downloads were made on my account. Can she re download them? I have searched purchased history and they are listed - but how do i select download again? I was advised that I should perhaps try purchasing them again and then I would be told that I have already purchased the item??? Seems odd - but does anyone know? I amusing itunes 10 on mac but daughter will use it on windows. (same itunes account - different library of course)
ok. I understand. I will contact iTunes to see if they can do anything. I have always backed up my PC - my daughters laptop wasn't allowed too near me! She was insistent that it would be fine!! Anyhow, as I have previously had up to 6 itunes libraries on my PC - all using one account - is it possible I wonder if I can find this music of hers in the backup files somewhere.? I am on the search. (used amazon too and they are looking into it for us) Now that I am on Mac I will be using time machine regularly - once I have sussed how to! Thanks for your help and I will recommend that my daughters new laptop is regularly backed up!!

Why can't I download Photoshop CC(2014) to my Mac Pro desktop running OSX 10.9.3. My Creative Cloud app shows updates for all apps that I have as CS6 on my desktop but I have only subscribed to Photoshop CC. Lightroom shows Install but it is installed. Trying to Install Photoshop CC(2014) results in and error message "Installation failed Errors encountered during installation.(7) more information.

I also cannot directly download from my account on the web. This has been going on for a week or more and I have tried numerous suggestions on the forums but got nowhere. I uninstalled Creative Cloud app today but could not find the installer again so I assume that was deleted. I cannot download that now as on Adobe's site it says we are experiencing problems. Aren't we all.
I was happy with CC until last week but now cannot recommend it.

ThanksIf you try to download something that you've already bought, then you don't have to buy it again. You can just press download. Therefore, if the songs are fragmented, you can just delete them and re-download them without paying a penny

If I am trying to attach a pic to a message or email, I get the error "photo can't be downloaded from icloud photo library, please try later." If I connect to wifi it works just fine. If it's truly "storing" a low res version on my phone it shouldn't have to download anything. I can understand the uploading of pics to library only being done over wifi, but there are plenty of times I'm going to want to send a pic when I'm not going to be near a network. It does work occasionally, but the norm is that I get the error.

There is issue with Windows 7 when you send the email. It gives the message you specified.
But you can always use Adobe Email client to send your images. In this workflow also you would get the error message but you can ignore it and continue to send the mail.
