Can I recycle an iPod to get 10% off an iPad?

I am looking into buying an iPad 2 after my iPod touch suffered being put through the washer machine and dryer. I wanted to know if I could recycle my iPod touch and recieve 10% off a purchase of an iPad since they are essentially the same product except one is much larger. Could someone please answer this question for me I do not want to pay the full price for the Pad when there are available savings.

So it would prolly be the best thing to call ahead and confirm? They are going to get my money in the end and also recycle the product properly so it should be a win-win situation.

I forgot the passcode to turn off restrictions. I have restored my iPad back to the factory settings and then synced it with the latest backup. The restrictions are still on and it is asking for the passcode. Can someone tell me how to get that off.

The only option is to wipe the device clean and restore it to factory settings. Hope you have a backup.
Follow the instructions in iOS: How to back up your data and set up your device as a new device http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 to restore the device to factory settings.
Once you have setup the device as a new one, you can then sync it back with your iTunes account and all your music, apps, contacts and any other content sync'ed with iTunes will be loaded on the device. Any content that is stored only on the device and not sync'ed with iTunes, like app logins or data, will be lost during this process. Be forewarned that this is a long process and can take a couple of hours or more to complete. This can be painful, but it is necessarily so to prevent users from working around the security settings. After the restore is complete, you can setup a new Restrictions passcode. Make a note of the passcode to avoid this situation in future.

Photo books are only available in iPhoto on a Mac, not on the iPad.
You can organize your photos into Journals on the iPad. If you have an iCloud account, you can publish your journal as a webpage and share a link to your journal with others. When you edit your journal, your changes automatically appear on your journal webpage.

Get photos off an iPad without a PC

Firstly, sorry if this has already been talked about on the forums
I did search for an answer to my question but to no avail
If there are threads already discussing this, can you point me in the right direction? Thanks!
My question -
How the heck do you get photos OFF an iPad (mine is iPad 2) without a computer?
Mac/PC doesn't matter, irrelevant to the question
The reason I ask is because I'm a photographer and I'd like to use my iPad out in the field
I've found it to be a super-cool device to show clients portfolio work
But I'd also like to start using it to do basic post-work and editing on-the-job
For the editing part, there are heaps of apps in the app store that are just great
But once I'm done, I'd love to be able to give a digital copy of the photos to the client before I leave
Any ideas?
I'm very happy with the iPad as a professional tool for this industry
And even if what I'm asking can't be done, I'll still keep using it
Just wondering if there's any ideas I haven't come across yet

yes, soon after I posted, I went into the photo gallery to have a play
found that if you click the share button you can select multiple and email them, indeed to yourself
or in my case, to the client
here's my thinking...
for jobs where a really special emotional response is needed, i'm better off going home and packaging a dvd and posting to the client, such is the case for weddings etc
for time-critical jobs, like insurance and particularly real estate, emailing to the client would be perfect
one question though - when emailing, are the photos sent at their original quality?

Boot off your iPad and turn it back on. Hold the button on the top until the "slide to power off" shows up. When you boot back up it will be gone and then you can re-install the app.

No. The most you can do is turn it in your a 10% discount towards the purchase of a new one. You would be much better off selling the Nano on Craigslist or eBay and using the profits from that towards the purchase of an iPad.

On the page where you have your songs, on the right hand side of the song, swipe your finger to the right and the delete button will appear. It only takes a quick swipe. If you hold your finger in on the song first, it will start playing.

If you've authorised your iTunes account(s) on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to copy iTunes purchases via File > Transfer Purchases. For non-iTunes purchased music, if you haven't got a backup of content on external drives, CDs, DVDs etc, then you will need to see if there are any third-party programs that can copy content from your iPad to your computer

The easiest and most universal woudl be to look into an app like Dropbox, or there are photo transfer apps, I just don't use them so I'm not familiar. The apps would enable you to upload the photos off your iPad to storage on the internet, then you can download them to any computer.
