Can i reinstall ios 4.3.3. On ipad 2

Hi as the title states. Is it possible to re-install ios 4.3.3 on my ipad 2?? Is there a guide on how to do this? I am currently running ios 4.3.3 also. I do not want to be on the latest firmware either.
Thanks

Before you reinstall the iOS, perhaps you would be better off restoring the iPad - or eliminating some apps that may be causing the iPad to run "slowly". I did this myself very recently - restored to factory settings - then restored to my backup - Still had some issues and then starting removing some apps until I found the ones that seemed to be causing problems - and now everything is back to normal for me..
If you have apps that store a lot of data - some game apps can be offenders - maybe newspaper or magazine apps where the issues build up over time (I'm not that familiar with how these apps store data) you might eliminate the problem that way.
The iOS should handle any memory issues on its own for apps that may be running in the background so there is usually no reason to close apps in the task bar - but there may be an app that is running that could be causing you problems. If you want to close apps go to the home screen, double tap the home button to bring up the task bar, tap and hold down on any icon in the task bar until they all "wiggle", then tap the minus signs to close the apps.
You could also try a reset and see if that helps - hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Takes about 10-15 seconds.

    No.

Trying to download iOS 8.3 on my iPad mini.  Has been downloading for 24 hours.  Any suggestions?

Try shutting off by holding down the home and power button at the same time.  Once turned back on you can try downloading again.  Be sure you have at least 50% of battery life before starting.

  • HT1222 I can not upload iOS 6.0.1 in iPad 2 ,why?

I can not upload iOS 6.0.1 in my I pad 2.can someone answer?

Do you mean download the iOS update?
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

  • Can't download iOS 6.0.1 on iPad - help please!

I can't download the new iOS 6.0.1 on my iPad (the latest one). I've tried doing it through iTunes and on its own- it keeps telling me that there is an error. Could it be bc I tried downloading it earlier and I had to interrupt  it? I reset settings, tried to download it again and nothing.

  • Can't Install iOS 4.2 To My iPad....

I've been trying to install the iPad update software but it stops when it reaches the Step 2 of the backing up process. Then iTunes crashes and goes no further. I force quit iTunes and try a soft reboot of the iPad. The iPad remains dark and unresponsive until I plug it in again to my iMac. iTunes starts up again until it crashes at the same point. I can't even seem to get a chance to restore the iPad to its original settings before iTunes crashes again. It's as if iTunes senses what I'm doing and shuts down before I can act! I've already uploaded the updated iTunes so that should be no problem. I'm syncing the iPad to the only computer it's even been connected to.
I've not been able to use my iPad since I can't seem to get it to fully load iOS 4.2.
    Anyone have any advice?

Never mind! Fixed it (for good, I hope). After reading through a similar thread, I threw iTunes into the garbage. After a second thought I took it out again and put it back in the applications folder, tried the download again and the download finished like magic.
I wish technology wasn't so screwy. Thanks for asking, though!

  • HT201263 "Software Update" is not shown as an option under Settings/General- how can I get iOS 5.1 on my iPad?

I know I'm way behind, can somebody help me get updated?  Thanks!

You need to update via iTunes on a computer. Make sure you have the most recent version of iTunes on your computer as well.
Once you update to iOS 5.1, then you will have that Software Update in your settings for over the air updates.
This will explain how to update your device.

  • Can I upload ios 5.0 to my iPad 1

Is it possible to upgrade my iPad 1?

You have to connect to your computer to upgrade to iOS 5. However, after it's installed you will be able to install the next update wirelessly (i.e., no computer connection).

  • How can I reinstall my SAFARI app on my Ipad?

    IPAD

Safari is a built in app for iOS. It cannot be deleted adn cannot be installed independant of iOS. sounds like the icon is hidden from your current view:
From the Home screen, swipe to the left (or right depending on the screen you are one) and see if it ended up on an alternate home screen.
Check an app folders youmight have
Swipe to the right until you get to the search screen and type in Safari (if it is in a folder, the list should indicate that.
Open the Settings app > General > Restrictions and see if restrictions are on, and if so, is Safari turned off.
