My Family Plan contract ends on 9/10/2011. I am the Primary Line and can upgrade my device (BlackBerry Tour 9630) now. However, I do not wish to upgrade at this time. Can I renew my current contract on 9/10/2011, keeping the Unlimited Data feature, without getting a new device? I realize my NE2 expires 6 months from my 5/6/2011 upgrade date.

Since you are seeing these dates in your My Verizon account, you are seeing the upgrade dates, not the contract end dates. Contract end dates do not show up in your My Verizon account. Your actual contract end date is 4 months after your upgrade date.
Come your actual contract end date, if you stay on the same plan and stay with the same phone, you will remain on unlimited data as long as you do not de-activate the phone that you have. When the data packages change, and you decide to get new phones after the change has taken place, you will have to get new data packages with the new phones.
If you now have 4 lines with unlimited data for $29.99, those line will remain with unlimited data as long as they do not upgrade or de-activate.
As far as Throttling, Verizon doesn't throttle as far as I know, they may if you get really high in data usage, but I am over 2GB right now and my data is just as fast as it has been.
Forgot I didn't answer this question, if you upgrade to a 4G device right now, with a new two year contract or at full retail pricing, you will get unlimited data for $29.99 right now, and you will keep unlimited data as long as the phone is active on your account and you do not de-active it after the data packages change.

Get a copy of the entire iTunes library and copy it to the computer that you will be using from now on.
iTunes Plus songs will still be playable, as will any "normal" MP3s that were purchased from Amazon or ripped from CD.
Any "protected" content from the iTunes Store, such as movies, shows, or pre-2009 songs, will not be playable. If you need to replace any such items with playable copies, a cost will be incurred. Make sure to account for this in the property settlement.

Are you talking about Time Machine backups on a Time Capsule?
It is fine to delete the backup as long as you are sure there is nothing you want.. and do a new clean backup. That will be the least possible space usage for a working backup.. Never delete files out of an existing backup.. it is very hard to manually delete files in the backup.
We do not recommend it.

IF youre talking about Keynote, I dont think any of the presentation software options allow you to "Add a slide" during a presentation.
Since your posting this in the iOS folder of the forums, we can assume further that you are using an iPad or iPhone as the presentation device. In that case, if you tap and hold on a slide during a presentation, you are offered a pen pallete that you can draw on the slides with, but once you hit "Done", it disapears.
As for the Contract, again nothing i know of allows you to do that directly from within the presenation.

Great question, as a matter of fact it does... or would, but the Devil is in the Details as they say.
IME, OSX works best with 100+GB free disk space, so if that partition scheme cuts that down then you'll lose speed, but ony a few would notice the diff until you get down to 30 GB free space.
I can't say much, but my VM at the moment is 143.55 GB, I've been told that isn't a real number, but hey, it means something!
But there are so many factors affecting this that really, the only rule that seems to hold is Give OSX as much HD Free Space as you can & it'll be happy.
I imagine on the MacPro you could say use the outer Partition of several Disks... one for the OS, one for VM, one for APPs, etc. and gain the most!

To my understanding, if I purchased the phone online, it would arrive sealed in original packaging(iphone box). I would then open it and activate online and by calling a number.
I would like to know, if I upgrade and purchase the phone at the store, do they have to activate it at the store? Or can I ask for a sealed iPhone and then just activate it at home?
Also, does verizon always keep the phone sealed until they are sold? Or is there a possibility that the store won't have any sealed phones, only open boxes.

If you are planning on reselling your iPhone (I don't know why you would be so worried about the package being sealed otherwise), you should know that you will need to accept the terms of the contract before you can sell it. Usually with online orders, you do that by activating the phone briefly on the line it was purchased for. I believe that you can also accept the terms by calling in, without opening the box. I would be sure that you get your contract extended properly, because if you do not accept the terms within 30 days of purchase, you will be billed for the full value of the phone.

Please keep in mind that not only is Firefox not receiving any updates (thus rendering it insecure), neither is Mac 10.4 or any of the plugins used on it. Welcome to the Apple community.
To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud.
You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photosstream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.
To avoid confusion when discussing your problem, when I mention iCloud, I am referring to the services under the iCloud login, Whereas I will refer to the whole cloud thing as The Cloud.
I suspect what you are wanting to do is all share the same account for iTunes and each use your own accounts for iCloud.

How can I change a mail account and keep all email?

Brought my G4 home after our business closed. I want to simply change my email account info from my work info to my personal info without losing any of the saved emails from work. Did that make sense? How can I do that? I tried just changing my email address and server settings but I can't get any mail, the program times out.

Jon, First Quit Mail, then I'd backup these two Mail folders, by right clicking on them in the Finder, then choose Archive/Compress.
Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail
Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail Downloads
(Could be a different folder here if you chose such in Mail Prefs)
Right click on that Mail folder, choose archive, you'll get everything in the folder, and the folder itself in a file called Mail.zip, move it to a safe place, same for the Mail Downloads folder... only the plist is separate.
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
I think not getting the Mail is a different problem. Are they differen't ISP at work & Home?

How can I Downgrade to Snow Leopard and keeping all 3rd party apps?

New to MacBookPro and really happy. With Lion...not so much. I want to downgrade to SL, however, apparently I must reformat the hard drive. Here´s the real question: If I have a backup of my entire HD with the user, docs and all the apps I have installed (on Lion), once I downgrade to Snow Leopard, can I just move all my apps from the back up disk I have made of my Lion-Running hard drive? In other words, How can I downgrade without having to reinstall every single third party app I have?

First, how new is this Mac? A Mac as a rule cannot boot to an older operating system version than that with which it was originally supplied. In other words, if this is a new MBP that came with Lion then you probably cannot get it to boot to SL.
Some applications (and I take it you do mean full "applications" rather than "apps" which are mobile device programs -- it helps to be clear o terminology) can just be dragged from place to place. Others, notably Adobe and Office, install things all over the place and unless you are good at finding hidden files with obscure names in 10 different places you will just have to re-install them.
