Can i repeat one song on shuffle forever?

with the new shuffle, is there a way for me to have it repeat the same song, over and over, forever? i'm happy to only load it with one song for this purpose. thanks!

Hi, hoping someone can help. I have an issue with my ipod classic when connected to my car stereo, after a while of playing and especially after forwarding a few songs using the stereo controls the settings automatically switches to repeat one song, how do I solve this?

Please do a Hard Reset as below
After charging till full charge, at least 2 hours (preferably 4 hours)
Toggle the Hold switch, make sure you dont see the red mark when you do the next step
Reset the iPod -> Press Menu and Center button simultaneously for about 10 secs till the Apple Logo comes ON
Then release the buttons
Select your preferred language.

ITunes tells me "Could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" I can locate it and all my other music, but can only open one song at a time. How do I set it to open all my music whenever I want it?

I just spent several hours dealing with this when switching to a new PC. It was extremely frustrating as I knew my files were on my external HD but no matter how many times I copied my old iTunes folder over the files were still missing...because dummy me had forgotten to "unhide folders" on my new PC and my old files were actually stored in a hidden folder created long long ago.
This is how I did it on Windows 7 with iTunes 10
1. Look in iTunes Advanced Preferences to see where iTunes is saving files. (Edit, Preferences, Advanced)
Example: C:/Users/Woildbill/My Music/iTunes/Music
2. Ensure you are able to see hidden files - Control Panel, Folder Option, View, Show Hidden Files
3. Use Your Computer's Search Function to Locate the Missing File (Start, Search, type name of song - I started my search in "My Music" folder but be sure to expand to entire Computer if not found right away)
4. In Search Results, right-click found folder and select properties. This will tell you where the file is actually stored.
5. Use Windows Explorer (right-click start) to navigate to the location of the file. It is likley your other missing files are in the same location.
6. In Windows Explorer, copy the newly located files to the iTumes location from Step 1 and everything should work again.

Do you still have your Aperture Slideshow project? Then open the slideshow and select the one of the green audio file clips in the film strip that you want to replace. Press the "delete" key and drag another audio file from the Media Browser directly onto the slide, where the sound should start.

I'm quite sure you have to change the settings in the Settings menu to do that. Go the the Settings menu, then select Repeat. The variations are: Off, One, and All.

Ok I hope I can explain this correctly.
On my iPhone, if I want to play one song on repeat while I'm in the shower or something (maybe working out)...I start up the iPod app, and hit "play". It plays that song, but then doesn't repeat. It moves to the NEXT song, then it repeats THAT song indefinitely.

You do not say which options you have changed to try using a different language, but there are several options which do slightly different things.
If you go into Control Panel and select "Regional and Language Options", a new window opens with 3 tabs across the top. Choose "Languages" (the middle one), then press the "Details" button. This opens another window which allows you to view and change settings including the current input language and keyboard settings.
Changing some of these settings will not make any difference until you reboot your machine.

ITunes on iPhone only repeating one song

Okay. So my iphone will only play one song, even i select a playlist with multiple songs. It keeps repeating the first song i selected over and over again. Is there a button somewhere that will make sure it's not on one song continuous repeat or is there something wrong? I can move it onto the next song by manually pushing next song, but it's in a dock and kind of a pain to keep walking over to change songs. help me out!

Tap the now playing screen is the way to bring up the repeat controls as stated by ChenMama in the above post.

How can I get one song out of an entire concert w/o losing the entire show

I have edited an entire concert, 2 hours, and have uploaded it to Youtube but I also want to get one song out that to give to the band for promotional use. How can I get that one song out of the entire show and still keep the entire show intact?
If I cut the song out and delete the rest of the show, I would have the song that i want but then how do I get back to having the entire show back on the timeline as I want to make it into a BluRay too.

Thanks Steve.. just so i am understanding correctly, I would save as and save a copy of the entire concert and then i could cut out all but the song i want and edit that song and when it is done i can save it so that later on i can re-render it in High Rez or for YouTube or whatever? and my original concert is still accessible for re-editing or re-rendering?

How do I change the bit rate for dls?? How times can I download one song??

I'm new to iTunes. I already downloaded 3 songs when I realized that the default bit rate is 128Kbps. I tried changing the bit rate to 192Kbps with a (Variable Bit Rate) checked.....unfortunately when I downloaded the next 2 songs the bit rate turned out to be the same.
Do I have to restart Windows or iTunes before downloading again?
And now that I have 5 songs with a lower br than I wanted... in order for me to have(download) the song at the higher bit rate...Is it possible to download one song more than once?

You have no choice as to bit rate when purchasing from the iTunes Music Store. The official bit rate of all tracks there is 128 kbps (a very few have been reported to be at higher rates, but that's not a choice you can make, it's how the track was encoded by the record company). The setting in the iTunes Importing preference is for tracks you import from CDs only and has no effect on iTMS purchases.
Is it possible to download one song more than once?
No. Except in extraordinary circumstances, the iTMS allows only one download per purchase.
