Can I replace my A1226 model keyboard with one from a model A1260?

My A1226 keyboard has dead keys, somebody is parting out their A1260--Can I replace my keyboard with theirs?

Well, you didn't mention what hardware was involved.
It's difficult to know if laptop keyboards are interchangeable between different models. Typically the keyboards are made for the computer so unless the keyboards are exactly the same they may not be interchangeable. You can give it a try. You could also contact ifixit.com to see if they know.

    Hello,
    You simply need to select the same site from the list of sites in the dropdown, while publishing it from Muse. This will replace the existing site with the one you have built in Muse now.

    Hi y'all
    I have 2 broken Thinkpads --a Z60t (2511 E7U) and an A20M (2628 3CU.)  The A20M basically died of old age, but still has a hard drive and battery that I'm fairly sure are in working condition. The Z60t was given to me by a friend, and ostensibly has no problems except that it does not have either of these parts. My question is, would it be possible for me to swap the hard drive and battery from the A20M to the Z60t?  
    Honestly, my ultimate goal is just to have a working laptop so that I can futz around on the internet without having to sit at my desk. I'm not all that concerned with how powerful or cool the thing is.  That being said, any advice or alternative options to the above scenario (that wouldn't require me to spend a lot of money) would be much appreciated.  Thanks

    You need a 9.5mm SATA laptop drive, a proper battery and AC adapter. If you're lucky, you can source all of that for $100-120 on fleabay.
    Adapter is 20V, either 65 or 90W, just to prevent any confusion.

    You should talk to your Apple Store.  The newest iMacs are very difficult, if not impossible, for the average person to repair.   The glass on previous iMacs could be replaced DIY but the new slimmer version is supposed to be specially glued together.

    You can use the keyboard you want with your iMac. However, note that some keys, as the Command key, aren't present in non-Apple keyboards. For example, in a non-Apple keyboard, you have to press the Windows key because that's the replacement of the Command key of an Apple keyboard

    People report it is still possible to use a wired USB keyboard with the CCK, if you use a powered USB hub to get around the "not enough power" error message.  (I have done this with an older Apple USB keyboard my non-jailbroken iPad1 on iOS 4.3.3.)  Normally, powered USB hubs have a AC power adapter so you lose portability unless you can find a battery powered USB hub.  At this point, the (in)convinience of the USB hub becomes an issue, depending on what you get.
    And wired USB keyboard were never supported for the iPad.  So there's no guarantee that it will continue to work with future iPad updates from Apple.  So best to go with a Bluetooth keyboard unless you have a specific USB keyboard that you "must" use.  If you have all the equipment already, I say give it a try.  But I would not recommend trying a USB keyboard if you have to purchase anything.

    I think you would have to do a lot of work in addition to just replacing the motherboard. Like getting a new power supply for instance as the cables won't match what Apple specs for their designed and built hardware. I think the best you can hope for is to reuse the Aluminum tower case, and that's about it.

    Can you see any Javascript EPCF code in the old iView  ?  You are surely just going to have to find it  (if our hunch is correct) and analyse it and copy it into your new iView so that it functions in some way that at least does not error
