My model is a dv7-1245dx. The processor speed is 2.10GHz. Video Graphics is a ATI HD 3200 Graphics RS780M. It has a 17.0" Diagonal WXGA+high def. HP BrightView Wide screen. Memory 4096MB with a max of 8192MB. Video Mem. up to 1918MB dimensions 15.59(W)x11.2(D)x1.31(min H)1.66(Max H). I have Altec Lansing speakers but no sub-woofer which I would prefer to have. What other information should I have to determine what MB and CPU I could install in my current case?

well it has many factors including wether the new and improved motherboard will your be fit into your current laptop , ,i think there is possibility ,but remember replacing your motherboard means replacing your gpu as well .....including ram if the new motherboards supports

Can I import the configuration file from an older Airport base station into a newer replacement Airport base station? It would seem this would save me a lot of extra work. First, it would hopefully save time by automatically configuring the new base station without me having to fiddle with the settings. I relaced an older AEBS with the new one, recently, and did not need to import anything, but if you can save the configuration file from your old one, then you can import it to the new one. I've never tried that when I switched, and it didn't seem to matter which suggests the configuration file may be on disk somewhere.

I just got my iPhone 5s two days ago, but it already has problems when I was trying to text with it while charging. The phone was doing all these random things like mis-sensed my typing really badly, jumping out to the main screen and even called the person I was texting. I even tried typing messages in Whatsapp, it constantly hides the keyboard from time to time and that's really irritating. While it's on lock screen, I could not slide to unlock it, I had to use my finger scan to access my phone in the end. The phone went normal again once I got the charge unplugged, but it went crazy again once I got it plugged in. I truely believe it's something wrong with the phone rather than the charger. Can I replace my current phone with a new one in this case?

I have been trying to change an older game saved file that I have created with my old Ipad with the new one that I have created on my new Ipad, both game files are played under my apple ID but I have no idea how to replace my older one with the new one.
The new file is superior to the old one so I wish to add the new saved file to my game center.
The game I am playing is Clash of Clans both file are created on apple products.

Old operating systems allowed you to click on recipients when sending emails without adding a comma after each address. Now with the new and improved system, I have to stop and add a comma after each name. How can I avoid this?

With the new OSX system, whenever I send an email with multiple recipients, I need to physically add a comma after each address. I never needed to do that with all the other older systems, it was done automatically. How can I fix this frustrating glitch?

option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. So.. we are using Lookout 5.0 to operate a plant, and we have a PCI SERIAL RS 232/485 ISOLATED 2 PORTS board, with the code 185726C-02 printed on that board, which is used to comunicate with some solenoids modules. I search your site for a replacement for that board, and I found the PCI-8433/2 board which seems to be compatible. Question: is it ok to use this board instead the old one with Lookout 5 if we update the NI SERIAL drivers from your site?

For years, my Apple ID has been associated with an external email address. Now that iCould users are given an "@me.com" email address for free, I would like to use that as my new Apple ID.
When I try to edit my primary email address using these instructions, this is the message I get:
You cannot create an Apple ID using a MobileMe account. If this is your email address, it is also your Apple ID.
I can't really figure out what this means. Is my Apple ID is permanently bound to the external email address? Seems pretty silly that I wouldn't be able to associate my Apple ID with my iCloud email...

Think of your Apple ID that is bound to an external email address as an Anonymous Apple ID account. The email address can be changed to any other email address that is not an Apple ID, iCloud, MobileMe, Mac, etc. account. iCloud, MobileMe, Mac, etc. accounts are just Apple ID accounts in disguise. So the bottom line is no, but you can use both independantly.

I think you would have to do a lot of work in addition to just replacing the motherboard. Like getting a new power supply for instance as the cables won't match what Apple specs for their designed and built hardware. I think the best you can hope for is to reuse the Aluminum tower case, and that's about it.

Can you see any Javascript EPCF code in the old iView ? You are surely just going to have to find it (if our hunch is correct) and analyse it and copy it into your new iView so that it functions in some way that at least does not error

Hello,
You simply need to select the same site from the list of sites in the dropdown, while publishing it from Muse. This will replace the existing site with the one you have built in Muse now.

Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that might need updating.
Here is a link on troubleshooting the sound. It has a number of great troubleshooting steps including using the built-in Windows troubleshooter.
1. Right click the Speaker icon in the bottom right corner by your time.
2. Click Playback Devices.
3. Click Speakers.
4. Click properties.
5. Click the advanced tab on the Properties window.
6. Change the Default Format drop-down to the highest quality.
7. Apply the properties.
8. Click OK to close the properties window.

The main error in this position is thinking ANY sized SSD can be "storage"
Any Macbook SSD should be idealized as a working platform computer system, containing all your applications, documents, and weekly-use necessary files; and all media files such as ‘big-data’ (music/PDF collections/video/pictures), unless directly needed in the near future, should be kept off the computer and on external storage USB or likewise bare hard drives.
You cant do what you want without removing the internal SSD

I can no longer update my Itunes version and I also can't access online or phone support with their new support options because it won't accept my serial number. What's up? Did support go away?

I've been using Itunes for years with little problem and when one develops, it is quickly resolved. Now, I find myself unable to update my version of Itunes. it asks me if I wish to update the version, I say yes, and then nothing happens. When I try to go to support, I select the Itunes downloading/synching option and basically, I can't proceed past the point of entering a valid serial number, because I'm not clear on which serial number it wants. It says hardware, so I supply my PC serial # (I own an ASUS laptop). I get an error message that this isn't a valid s/n, so I look for one for Itunes and can't find one anywhere. I try to follow their explanation of how to locate your serial # but it is extremely unclear and unhelpful. So now I'm stuck. I can't get past first base anymore. Did Apple come up with a clever way to end their support service without actually admitting it? Or am I just being particularly dense here? Any help is appreciated. Thx
