Can I replace my Orange Firmware without hacking?

I want to use the Orange Tsunami homescreen with Nokia icons. However, as I'm with Orange I can't get rid of their horrible orange coloured icons - they are buried in the firmware. Is there a way to replace the 'Orange' firmware with 'Nokia' firmware to get round this problem?
This might be a silly question but I'm still quite new to this technical stuff. But I need to do something to make using my X6 slightly enjoyable.

Any methods that would allow you to do that would also void the warranty.

No. iPhone warranty is NOT international, Except for EU countries, only valid in country of original purchase. In your case that would be Australia. You will have to physically return the phone to Australia for ALL warranty & service work. You cannot mail it back...Apple does not accept International shipments.

I have the standard issue with a horrible LG screen causing image retention. I've had it for almost a year now and it hasn't bothered me too much but I have Apple Care and am within my rights to return it for a Samsung one.
I have a lot of things setup on my computer (it is for work) so it would be a big problem to have to replace the entire thing. Can you just replace the monitor whilst leaving the hard drive and everything else in tact?

Judging from other responses, it appears Apple would be willing to just replace the screen. But except for your original choice of drive size, CPU speed and RAM, everything set up on your computer is what's on your HD (actually SSD). You've already been advised to make a backup, but if the backup you make is a clone and bootable, it can be written back to the internal drive and you'd be back in operation in a short time.
That would be just as true if you swapped if tor the 2013 rMBP, assuming that was offered with the screen you want instead.

You need to use the old ID and password to delete the iCloud account. After you delete the old account, you can sign in with the new ID in iCloud.

If you purchased in the UAE then it must be returned to the seller in the UAE for repair or service under warranty
NO Authorised servicer in India will touch it as it did not originate in India
If you purchased in an UNauthorised seller in UAE then you will have to find out where it came from for any warranty support

Make a backup of the iPod by connecting the iPod to the computer and right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and selecting Backup. Then restore the iPod from that backup and sync as necessary.

Apple can fix it without your receipt or box. They pull the serial number from the device and determine warranty status from that. Hopefully ApplCare was registered to the product before you lost the receipt though. If not, you can go back to the point of purchase and obtain your AppleCare receipt and Apple can help attach it to the iPhone.

My phone was ringing and it showed that "Sophia" was calling. I don't know anyone by that name and was going to decline. The "decline" option was grayed out. Call your carrier and ask them to check the IMEI and ICCID numbers to make sure nobody's cloned your phone. If it only happened the one time it might simply be a fluke.

If I take my phone to the apple store, will they be able to help me? I am not willing to replace the screen just to do this, however, so that is out of the question.

Someone else may have a workaround, but, as far as I know, if you cannot interact with the screen on the iPhone, there is no way to unlock it so you can get to your contacts.
Were you saving them to iCloud by chance? If so, you can restore them to your new phone.

How can I Replace a Hard Drive on a 160gb iPod Classic? I am considering buying an iPod Classic off of eBay which is described as 'broken' and having the 'Red X' showing up on the screen. The seller is starting the bid at a very low price, which raises some concerns for me. For this thread, let us assume that the iPod has a broken hard drive that needs to be replaced in order to function properly. I am assuming that merely 'restoring' it would not suffice. Yes, the red X icon is usually a sign of a bad or damaged hard drive. Sometimes, restoring the iPod will resolve the issue, but rarely. Other users were able to smack the ipod against the side of their leg and gain back full functionality of the iPod.
However, if no such luck with either, your next option would be to replace the drive. For this task, you can either opt to repair and replace the hard drive yourself, or opt to send it into a third party repair business to do the job for you.
