Can I replicate to a off-site DR Hyper-V site and ASR?

Hi,
I've had a troll around the various sites but I can find a definitive answer.
Am I correct in saying that I can only replicate to one location i.e. offsite DR Hyper-V server OR Azure Site Recovery?

Thanks for the replies. To confirm that I am using Windows Server 2012R2 and I am using the Hyper-V Manager to manage the replication. I've set up replication to a DR site and that is working perfectly. The bit I seem to be missing is the
next step. If I try and extend the replica I don't get any Azure options? I just get the option to browse the network. Do I have to do something here or am I not seeing the right screen? if someone has a screenshot of the screen I should be seeing that
would be very useful.

Yes you can! It is a Basic level site but you can build it without Muse. I think you may need to create the site originally with Dreamweaver or Muse (meaning creating the site with Business Catalyst not building the site) but once that is done you can use any software to create the code for the site and upload it via SFTP. Hope that makes sense.

You can transfer purchases from your iPhone and iPod touch to your computer and it will put all music, apps, books, and other purchases or downloads made in iTunes onto your computer. Or you can sign into the iTunes Store in iTunes on your computer and go to Purchases > Not on This Computer > Download all for each tab across the top.
If you have any music that was imported from CDs to your Dad's computer, you'll need to import those to your laptop. When you sync your iPhone, it will erase all the music on your iPhone and replace it with the music in your Music Library. If you have all of the music that's on your iPhone on your computer already (by importing CDs and transferring purchases) you won't lose anything.

Why can't Firefox find ANY of the servers for the sites I frequent the most?

Can only connect to HTTPS (secure) sites and can't connect to HTTP sites

In short I CAN ONLY connect to HTTPS sites, meaning secure.
I've narrowed this down to an issue regrading my mac book pro and the wireless router.
Router:
- not sure of the make model
- other computers CAN connect to this router and go online
My Mac:
- Mac Book Pro
- OS X 10.6
- I can connect to other wireless networks just fine
- I can surf the web for about 10 minutes or so then it blocks ALL http traffic
and i'm only allowed to https sites
going to a http site results in a "page is taking to long to respond"
please anything?

The router is a Verizon MI424WR

Can't log in to Mac site and store

I am so frustrated and also angry. Every time I go to the Mac or Apple website it says my password is wrong. So -- every single time -- I have to hit 'forgot password' and then get email and then make up password and then get on the site. Then, if I try to go back to Mac site the next time, the password does not work.... even if I go back 5 minutes later.... or next day. So I always have to make up new password and I get to visit the site -- once. And here I am trying to buy something and spend lots of money and Mac makes it nearly impossible to access its site... or Mac Store. So, after I post this message and log out I will not be able to access the site again unless and until I go thru those pain-in-the-butt steps.

I don't know honestly if I have cookies on. But I can say that I go to lots of sites -- daily -- where I need a password and it's never an issue. This includes online stores, forums, my bank, etc.... I just type in password and I'm there. But with Mac, no-go. I have to start anew and make up new password every single time.

How to access the function which saves passwords so that I can save passwords to all the sites and not just the random ones that Firfox asks about?

Sometimes the question comes up of the top of the screen" do you want to save this password" which is great. But it does not always come up...this is the problem. I can't seem to locate where to find this application? Can you help?

I can't connect to multiple web sites and can to others???

I'm Not sure if the title actually explains my problem. I am a novice so please be gentle and precise with me.
I have a Mac OS X 10.6 Desk top. I have had the machine approx 3 months have had no problems before with the sites; I am trying to access now, previously.
I've done the Ping test to the sites I am trying to access and they are coming back clean.
The fault that appears is the usual safari one, saying it cannot connect to the server. Just today after setting up this account it will now not let me log out of it. Saying it cannot find the page I'm looking for?
So I'm at a real loss any help will be welcome

This sounds like it might be a DNS problem. Domain Name Servers (DNS) translate net address (like 192.168.0.1) into names (like www.apple.com). They sometimes get screwed up.
Check what you have set for your DNS servers (in Network Preferences on the Mac, but also on your router). You could try using Google's DNS servers, which work well.

Can a macbook screen be replaced within an Apple store? Or does it have to be shipped off site?

I stepped on the actual macbook (the room was dark and I wasn't paying attention) and while the LCD screen is intact, it's clearly damanged (areas of black on the LCD). The warranty expired on the macbook, but I don't care about cost. I just want to know if the screen can be replaced within the store or if it'll have to be sent off site and how long that will take.

Can't get photo's off iPod colour

Hi, can anyone help please?
I have a 20gb colour iPod and can't get my photos OFF! When I connect it and iTunes opens up it recognises the songs I have but not the photo's. This is the same when checking the "settings" and "about" (Photos 0)on the iPod. I can view the photo's no problem on the iPod.
I have around 150 photos from my holiday and downloaded them directly from my digital camera to iPod via the camera connector

next time you connect your iPod, switch the "hard disc use" on the iPod preferences in iTunes on. Then you might be able to copy them from the folder. If this doesn't work, search for some addons that enables you to copy data from your iPod back to the computer. Layout assignment to sites and assortments

In Layout concept,
it is poosible to assign the layout to the site / it is possible to assign the layout to the assortment.
Could any one help me what are the advantages of doing this.
Which one is better option. Assigning layout to site is good option or assigning layout to the assortment is a good option.
What are the benfits of doing this assignmnets.
Why sap has suggested these two methods.

Can I clone my Time Machine hard drive, to another HD, and store Off Site?

Good day All, I love my new Macbook, but am trying to come up with a foolproof method of backing up all my data, documents, and business.
I have become very nervous about BACKUPS, and want to have an OFF-SITE week old backup done on a external Hard Drive?
I presently have a 200 gig Time Machine backup/archive, and have a daily clone with Super Duper & Carbon Copy Clone. However these hard drives are at home, so should the building burn down, or should we get broken into, there goes my business and digital life.
My thought is to buy an external hard drive and clone my current Time Machine hard drive to the external on a weekly basis, and store it off-site or at a friends house.
Would I be able to do a clone of my TM HD archive, and have it still useable / bootable / recoverable should a tragedy happen?
I would like to upload it all up to Mozy, or BackBlaze, or similar offering, but 200 gig is way too big.
Is anybody cloning a Time Machine hard drive and able to restore from it?

Sorry I missed the discussion last night. I'll tell you how I'm accomplishing the backup task and you can let me know if this is what you're trying to do.
I now have 2 external HDs. A 1TB Seagate and a 250 GB LaCie. The LaCie used to be my TM backup drive, but it was the same size as my internal iMac drive. I knew I'd eventually need a bigger drive so I bought the 1TB Seagate yesterday and cloned the LaCie drive onto it using SuperDuper. The only thing on the LaCie drive was TM backups. Now the TM backup are on the Seagate. I unmounted the old TM drive and changed the name of the new drive to "Time Machine". I activated TM and it picked right up where it left off. I did test it by restoring an old file. I also changed a current file and made sure TM was still operating as advertised. Everything worked as expected.
Now I simply used the 250 GB drive to clone my system HD using CCC. It is a bootable backup and can be used to run the system should my internal drive become unusable. I will update this drive once a month with any changes to the system drive using CCC and keep it off-site in a safe deposit box in the meantime. Using this methodology, I don't see why you'd want to swap the drives weekly/monthly. Just let TM run on the large drive and keep the other drive as current as you like. I've decided monthly is good for me. I'm mostly worried about photos, but I keep them on the camera longer than a month, so there's my cover for the month.
