i tried switch control and chosen siri as action every time i tap, now i cant get thru siri, i just want to reset my ipad, is it possible?i need help

Adobe PDF printer gets installed when you install Acrobat 10 Pro.
To use this printer you need to purchase Acrobat. Once the trial period is over you cannot use the printer to create pdf files.
An alternative way for you is to utilize Microsoft's own inbuilt pdf engine.
You can simply open the file and select 'Save as' and in the type list select 'pdf'

I have a iPhone 4s from Verizon and clean esn but using for other carrier. How can I reset phone setting so I can get us contact setting? (My default contact setting is to Netherland.)

My contact setting is default for Netherland and want to resync with *228 but because of I'm not active account holder with Verizon, they can't reset it for me.
I bought it from other people and I checked the ESN , its clean one with no contract.
What's my option now? Can apple unlock it? I want to use it for GSM carrier.

Only Verizon can authorize it to be unlocked. If they won't, you'll have to sell it to someone who can use it.

How can I stop iPad setting up email account automatically

My email is my domain on Google apps.
When I add it as an imap account, iOS tries to set up automatically and somewhere is finding a really old mail server name from about five years ago before we switched to google apps.
So when it tries to send it is attempting to use this old server putting [email protected]@oldserver.com.
I can't stop it, and it is not listed in the smtp server list in settings, so I can't delete it.
Deeply frustrating as I can't send mail from my iPad. Can anyone help?

Your phone uses the cell tower and possibly GPS (depend on the phone) to determine location. These are not avilable on your Wifi iPad. It is forced to rely on databsed information about your internet priovider network, whiich can sometimes be incomplete.
One way to test this is to go out and connect to a public WiFi hot spot. These are usually well mapped. If your iPad can use location services there, that will be a pretty good indication its an issue with our connection at home (and unfotunately not one you can do much about).
Also, have you actually turned location services on for the iPad? Open the Settings app > Privacy > Location Services. You can turn it on for the device as well as determine which apps are permitted to use it.

Can't have it both ways. "Refreshing" w/o deleting programs and restoring to factory level are 2 different things. Also, it depends on which OS system you have. You did not mention this in any of your postings nor have you included your system info.

Can I force iPad to use Apple TV for WiFi

I have an Apple TV connected via Ethernet and Powerline adaptors to my Extreme router. I had understood that the ATV would broadcast a wifi signal much like an Airport Express and indeed all services via Airplay seem to work. However, connection via iPhone or iPad is particularly flakey and these devices seem to try to connect to the wifi signal being distributed by the Extreme upstairs. I have taken all Airport Express devices out of my system to avoid confusion.
I have a full strength signal indicated on the MacBook Pro being used to write this but our 2 iPads and 2 iPhones both display much reduced signals that get stronger as we move upstairs.
Can anyone confirm a way to tell if devices are connecting to the wifi signal supposedly being distributed by my ATV?

Thank you. This clarified things for me. I have bought another powerline adaptor and connected this to an airport express unit. I created a new network with the same details as the primary network and then selected bridge mode. Took 5 minutes and everything now works very well.

Hoping someone can help me as I have been scouring loads of help pages but getting nowhere!!!!!
I have an iPhone 5 with os 6.1.2
I have had several issuses of late and as such want to reset my phone. When ever I plug into itunes it crashes so I cant access my backups so ok my contacts and all important data are backed up via icloud so no problems there.
I try to update my phone durect through the setiings but it just hangs forever
Tried to erase data and settings but again it starts to do it but then crashes and hangs for ages until I turn it off and back on.
Tried reseting/downgrading/upgrading in DFU mode and even pre downloaded different ios versions but when It tries to install onto my phone it keeps telling me that an unknown error occured 3014 / 3194 depending on ios version.
I have done all the tasks its tells you to do regarding using different computers etc blah, blah, blah but nothing is working.
So to sum up.
My iphone works but I can not connect to itunes to put music on etc, I can not upgrade, downgrade my software so I think I have a problem with the actual hardware!!!!
Any suggestions please???????????????
