Can I resize the Favorite Contact widgets om the homescreen?

Just got the Maxx. I love it! However, I'm not impressed with the Favorite Contact Widget. I only need 2 and I'd like them to be larger. I don't like the size and the fact that they're connected. Anyone know how to modify them?

You can't modify that widget the way you want, but, since you only want two, maybe an alternative would be a separate widget for calling (texting) each of them?
Long press on the home screen, select Shortcut>App Actions>Direct Dial (or Direct Message) and then your contact.
Would that work for you?

Did you turn off the "show transform controls" option in the move tool?
It sounds like you were using that previously.
And you can always transform by using the Free Transform command (command/control T).

The problem is that I did erase the partition, using disk utility, but I can't go back to my original disk size pre-partition, as disk utility won't let me do it and gives the message "Couldn’t modify partition map because file system verification failed." When I try to use Boot Camp Assistant it won't let me select the third option to remove windows.

Can I resize the arrows that are attached to digital controls?

Is there a way to change the size of the arrows attached to digital controls, other than by changing the size of the control itself?

There isn't enough control to make the arrows grow with the numeric,
but it is pretty easy to right-click, and choose customize to take
the numeric to the control editor. Once there, click on the Wrench
button to separate the parts of the control. You can now resize the
arrows, even independently of one another. Once completed, you can
save the numeric as a typedef or custom control so that they can be
added to the palettes for frequent use. Or, you can avoid the save

Can I resize the html applet size ?

However, can I resize the html applet tag width and height? It seems impossible.

You could try to generate the HTML, save it to a File, and the use showDocument() to reload the whole page.

I can't resize the reply window in Mac Mail

My mail is working fine.
If I write a new email it all looks okay.
If I reply or forward an email the window is so wide it would stretch maybe 3 times the width of my screen, so if I want to use any of the tools in the top right toolbar I have to drag the window across.
I can resize up and down to make the window taller or shorter but I can't make it fit onto my screen widthways.
I have rebooted, hit zoom and now I'm stumped.
Any suggestions?

In Normal screen mode on Mac OS, resize the application window by dragging its lower right corner.
Click the green Zoom button (), located beside the Close and Minimize buttons at the left of the title bar. The application window expands to fill the screen. Click the Zoom button again to return to the previous window size.
Reposition the application window on your screen by dragging the title bar.

How can I resize the size of the Excel web part?

I have a spreadsheet that i want to use to populate a page in my SharePoint site. i copied the workbook to the site, created the page and added the excel web part. then i linked the workbook to the web part and submitted. it displays but only
about 25% of the sheet shows. i dont want to use the thumbs to scroll inside the web part. i want the web part sized to show the entire spreadsheet. cant seem to find how to size the web part. Can some kind soul help me out here.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to resize the size of the Excel web part.
Per my knowleadge, most of the time excel web parts turn out ugly, due to the fact that they’re rendered in an iframe and therefore the browser doesn’t resize the container to fit the content.
As a workaround, we can edit the page where you want the resizing to happen, add in a content editor web part, and paste the following code into the source editor.

Can I resize the Business Catalyst Extension?

I would like to resize the Business Catalyst Extension in dreamweaver. Right now a scroll bar sits in the middle of the extension window and I can't move this extension bar. Does anyone know how I can do so? Thanks.

How can I resize the PDF I created with a magazine template?

Hello! I used a template that`s a different size than what I need. How can I resize (make it smaller) the PDF that I just created with this magazine template?

So you picked a template in A4 format, and now you need letter. The printer can scale the PDF to 11" and it will get even narrower, leaving large margins. Does it have bleeds? That woudl be a disaster.
Frankly, the best thing is to start over using the correct page size, but you can go to File > Document Setup... in ID and change the shape of the exisiting file. Expect to do a lot of work moving and resizing objects and refitting the type.

Just set a 4x6 ratio and then constrain the size during export. If you do this a lot you can create a 4x6 export preset, for example.

The Loop browser and the track have a fixed size. You can only hide the Loop Browser by pressing the Loops button in the footer to make the time line longer.
Or drag the resize corners to enlarge the GarageBand application window. Have you set your display to the maximum possible resolution in the for your screen in the System preferences > Display?
If you have only a small 13" screen, try to resize the GB WIndow beyond the bounds of the screen by pushing the trackheads beyond the left border and dragging the right resize corner.

HT5361 i can't resize the new message window in mac mail.

I have OS X 10.9.1 and a MacBook Air.
When i open a new message window to type an email. It opens up as big as full screen or bigger. When I try to resize the window it won't allow me to make it any smaller.
Can anyone help?

Another quick follow-up. I have several email accounts set up within Mail and have the "Bcc" field set up so I automatically get a copy of my emails in the account from which I send the message. Setting the "Bcc" to one of my accounts triggers a jump to a large message viewer window that won't resize. Then deleting that "Bcc" listing from the message doesn't fix the problem. I have to go back to a copy of the message I've sent to myself and again click the forward icon to get a window I can resize. This problem doesn't seem to occur if I paste the offending account into the "To" field of he message, only the "Bcc' field. Go figure!

Can I resize the submit button?

To make my form more mobile friendly I made the font sizes larger, but the submit button is then really small! Can I make the button larger?

I don't think you can remove it completely, but a couple of options you could look at are:
- change it to a transparent button, set the opacity to 0% and delete the text. You can then move the invisible button somewhere were users are unlikely to click it.
- Or just drag the button off the slide so it doesn't appear when the project runs.
