Can I restore a completed IDVD slideshow to my computer for further additions? I made it a number of years ago and want to add some new material.
You can "rip" your DVD but you will get a video file which you can edit in iMovie. You will also loose quality due to the conversion/compression. See this:

If you want to erase the disk, reinstall Mac OS X and your Mac didn't come with DVDs or you have OS X Mountain Lion or Lion:
1. Press Command and R keys while your Mac is starting.
2. Open Disk Utility, choose Macintosh HD in the sidebar and erase the drive.
3. Install Mac OS X.
If your Mac came with DVDs:
1. Insert the OS X DVD that came with the Mac and press C key while your Mac is starting.
2. Go to Utilities > Disk Utility, choose Macintosh HD in the sidebar and erase the drive.

How can I sync my iPad to a computer after syncing it to the iCloud? I have the option of setting it up new, or restoring to a sync from many months ago. I dont want to lose any apps but I would like to back up on computer. No auto sync like other devices.
Plug it into your computer. Tell it to sync with "this computer" instead of iCloud. You shouldn't have to remove any apps. Otherwise, you can save the app data by using i-FunBox ( http://www.i-funbox.com/ ) just go to the "devices" tab and select 'user applications' and select all of your apps and tell iFunBox to "copy to pc" you're done! You have them all backed up.

KenfromwI just wanted to update this chain since I was able to solve the problem I had. My iPad backups were on a time machine backup, but not on my new computer. In my most recent time machine backup I navigated to:
~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup and took the most recent folder from there. I copied that folder into the corresponding directory on my new machine, and then when I opened iTunes and plugged in my iPad it was there and I was able to restore it!
Note that if you have multiple devices, you can open that folder in the Backup directory and find the info.plist file, and near the top it will say the name of the device, so I was able to tell which was my iPad backup and which was my iPhone backup.

I can't restore my Ipad and keep getting NAND messages running along the type left of the screen
I can't restore my Ipad mini.....it begins the process and then stops midway through and shows NAND messages along the top left of the screen. Then all I get is either a blank screen or Apple logo......unable to turn it on or off.
Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -

Great question! You can absolutely do this in OS X 10.9. The attached article explains how the process of using AirPlay with Apple TV to create a second display. Also, towards the bottom of the article there are instructions on how to set your Displays preferences on the computer to make sure the TV and MacBook Pro displays are set up the way you want them to be.

Adobe's Flash player is already on my computer from IE 8. How can I get Firefox to see that it is already on my PC and use it so I don't have to download it again and possibly create other problems. Also, in my efforts to download Flash, Firefox activated IE which made me concerned that proceeding WOULD cause problems our just leave me where I am now where IE can use Flask but Firefox cannot.Internet Explorer uses a ActiveX version of the Flash player plugin as it does not work with other browsers.
Download the Plugin-based browsers version from https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html and make sure Firefox is closed when you install it. -

I can not access Itunes Store from my computer.

while trying to sync with my iphone I recieve the message: This computer is no longer authorized for apps that are installed on the iPhone “Terri George’s iPhone”. Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store? When I put in my password and hit authorize, I get a message telling me there was an unknown error (-50). Would love to sync today. Any help would be appreciated.
