Can i restore my photos?

I backed my iphone up to icloud, then factory reset my phone. When i restored my phone only half of my photos came back. I logged onto icloud.com ad they arent there either. Can i restore the other half of my photos? They are greatly needed. Thanks!

Did you check the box to backup the "camera roll"?
If not your other photos are probably gone.

If you didn't have the photos stored somewhere else, then they are gone. A 'backup' is not and should never be considered long term storage. Photos should be extracted to a computer on a regular basis as you would with any other digital camera, and the computer should be backed up as well.

Photo Booth "Can't restore window" (Photo Booth crashes) after Lion

The first time I opened Photo Booth after installing "Lion" a pop-up indicated I had to wait until the "files" were re-loaded. After that Photo Booth just crashes every time you try and say "restore window" or even if you say "don't restore window". In other words Photo Booth can no longer be used on my iMac. I will try and use the software on my MBA and see if it runs into the same issue. If anyone knows a fix please let me know.

From What I've found.. it seems 3ivx or Perian could cause this problem. A friend had this issue and deleted 3ivx and it fixed his crashes. Alternatively, some folks are reporting that turning off 32-bit mode (Get Info) for Photobooth has also fixed, although this was already turned off in my friend's case. Or if you have iGlasses installed.

Revert to original. After you edit a photo and save your edits, you can revert to the original image. Tap the image, tap Edit, then tap Revert.

Restore from iCloud is all or nothing. You can't select just a few items.

Sadly without the original hardware and without backups there is no route to recover the information short of taking the device to a specialist iPod repair organisation to see if they can read parts of the memory that have not been overwritten.
iTunes Match does not influence photos so any advice on this topic would be best to request from the general iTunes and iPod forums.

I have been on vacation in Costa Rica for about 3 months !
