Can I restrict the release of Preq by creator in customizing?

hello
as far as I know, restricting the release of preq in a way that the requisitioner cannot release it own preq, is only via roles. I have been told that there is a way to do that in customizing but cannot find it: has anyone ever encounter such a restriction in customizing? if yes, where?

You can easily restrict and control PR release process by having well designed user authorization matrix and release matrix. As per release u201CVALUESu201D, release matrix designed and based on authorization, control can be established for transaction codes.
Lets example: User 1 will create PR, user 2 will change PR and you have 3 codes for releasing PR like C1, C2, C3.Now you can allow(authorized to) user to do following transaction
Transaction Code----
> User
ME51N----
> user 1
ME52N----
> user 2
ME53N -
>(All users ie..user1.user2,user3,user4 &user5)
ME54N with release codeC1----
> user3
ME54N with release codeC2----
> user4
ME54N with release codeC3----
> user5
NOTE: For more details contact basis team and control all these by authorization object.

Hello
When you set up a project there is an option called Transaction Control.
This option allow you to list the allowed or restricted elements of costs for the project.
You may enter the transaction control on a project template and that will be copied to any new project.
The cost elements may be expenditure types, expenditures categories, suppliers, employees, etc.
In your case, I suggest to set up specific project templates for each operating units. On each template enter the list of allowed expenditures types for that OU.
Doing so, the system restricts users from entering any expenditure item, supplier invoice, purchase cost etc, against an expenditure type, which is not allowed.

You cannot restrict the qty in MIRO. because it is used for partial invoice receipt.
E.g in some cases 100 nos of qty might have received in one GR. But the supplier may give 3 invoices for this. that is the reason u cant restict this

In one of my earlier Projects we had a similar requirement and the Best solution we could give to our client was to Create New Output Type and asked our ABAPer to Delete/Deactivate the fields / texts which were not required for PO printing and the User was asked to select the New Output type for Printing.
Take help of a ABAPer to change the fields required for Printing this new Output Type.
Discuss with your client and see if it works.

iTunes 9 also includes many other improvements, such as HE-AAC encoding and playback, more flexibility with Smart Playlists rules, simpler organization of your media files inside an iTunes Media folder, and more.

then the total no of records overflows to the next pages and the
next page heading comes much below to it's designated place.
Max.no of records property in the repaeting frame is for the
logical page.
How can I restrict the max. number of records per physical page ?

Then must be there is change in BS22.Check allowed transaction setting for Status PCNF/CNF .For reference purpose compare it with other client IDES or sand box.

The problem id the i want to show only text and xml files in the dialog box. Now the files of type combo box in the dialogue box is showing *.*, *.html, *.pictures (jpg/gif) options. the demo doesn't keep track of this. If you want then this feature isn't implemented. You will also see that the document is uploaded in a directory without changing the file name (e.g. adding the SR number). This however can be done and would be the way to do it

CS4 on a Mac. Can I restrict the operation of the "magic wand" to a single artboard without moving that artboard to a different layer? At present it selects all the similar items on the active board as well as all the other boards on the same layer.

I'm not sure if this works on CS4, but one thing you can try is to click Window + Magic Wand to open your tool settings.
There, you should see a check mark next to Fill Color. Uncheck fill color. Now, make sure everything is deselected, and then try using the magic wand tool. You may need to play with your Tolerance setting to get it to select the way you want.

When we enter the user group name and click on "Assign users and Infosets" button in the attached pic "User Group" .
I was able to enter my user id in other user groups. How to Grey out the other rows in the attached pic "User Group 1".
