  • How can I retrieve deleted photos from trash?

Please help! My wife accidentally deleted all of the images from the "All Images" folder. This included all pictures in iPhoto and some clip art (about 7,000 files). I am not concerned about the clip art, but the photos are a concern. We had a few dozen events in our iPhoto library. The events are all still there, but the photos are not. There are white boxes in each event where photos used to be. It looks like all the photos are still in the waste basket. Is there a way I can move them back into iPhoto? And furthermore, is there a way to have them go back to the events from which they came?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
when it comes to burning them to a CD again it is only those few that first showed that i can burn...?
Sounds like you may have a damaged database.
Try these in order - from best option on down...
    1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
    2. Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
    3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

how can i retrieve my photos from i cloud ?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
Photo stream is not available at iCloud.com. In order to see the photos taken on your new iPad, you need to use another iOS device, mac or PC which is logged into your iCloud account.

If they were photos taken with your iPhone and you have Photo Stream activated through iCloud they are in the cloud. If not - they are in the wind.

Restore your iPhone from the last backup you made before you deleted the photos from the iPhone. An iCloud backup (or an iTunes backup) saves the content of the camera roll.

i can't retrieve my photos from an ipod back up on to my new ipod

Have the photos been taken with the iPad or have the photos been synced to the iPad Air? Photos synced with iTunes to iOS devices cannot be synced back. See this link:  iOS: Syncing photos using iTunes
If the photos have been synced to the iPad Air, you need an external app as JimHDK recommended. Or mail the photos, which will be tedious. To delete them from the iPad after transferring them, sync again with iTunes, but select no folders to sync.
If the photos have been taken with the iPad Camera, you can connect the iPad Air to your Mac using a USB cable and then to launch Image Capture or iPhoto to transfer the photos. But that will not transfer synced photos.

Did you restore your iCloud backup?  That should recover camera roll photos.

  • Can I retrieve my photos from iphone after factory restore?  Will the photos be included in my last back-up?

Can I retrieve photos from iphone 4 after factory restore?

I connected to my computer to back up and update my iOS.  At the time I connected to my computer, it also said I needed to update my itunes.  So, I updated itunes, then went ahead with downloading and installing the updated iOS.  It says that my last back up was today, and now my only option is to restore to factory settings.  My concern is being able to get back all of my info.  Now, it shows a screen on my iphone with a USB cable and and arrow to the itunes icon.

How can retrieve a deleted picture from my iphone

    An iphone backup saves:
Camera Roll (Photos, screenshots, images saved, and videos taken. Videos greater than 2 GB are backed up with iOS 4.0 and later.)
Note: For devices without a camera, Camera Roll is called Saved Photos.
If you have a backup with photos from these locations then they can be restore to your phone
Photos that were on you computer and synced to the phone would still be on your computer
If the photos you deleted are not covered by any of this then they are gone

  • Can I retrieve my photos from My Camera Roll from an iPhone 5 if it was stolen?

I recently had my iPhone 5 stolen. I was pretty sure my phone was backed up in iCloud (I had restored that way from a previous phone when I got this phone in question). But it does not appear in my "restore from" devices. I had hundreds of photos on that phone but did not have any specific photo synching or backups (as i thought the entire phone was backed up). Is there any way to retrieve those photos?
    Please help and thank yo,
    Kelly

You would have iCloud backup if and only if you did both of the following on your iPhone:
    1.  Settings > iCloud > Backup > iCloud Backup must have been turned "On"
    2.  Your iPhone must have been plugged in, locked, and connected to WiFi.
If you do have an iCloud backup, the only way to restore it would be when opening another iPhone (or iPad) and having it go through the Setup Assistant (as if it were a brand new device).

  • My iphone is broken. can i retrieve my photos from my pc

can i get my photos using icloud from my broken iphone 4

    Hi there,
contact Apple and have them check the IMEI - better yet, the device serial number (which should be listed bothe on the package and on your invoice) - against their database. They should be able to provide the needed information.
    Hope this helps,
    Chris

  • I can't retrieve my photos from my ipad to my PC.

PC and other programs I have used says ipad has 67 photos when I have hundreds. How do I get these photos from ipad to my PC?
Also, my macbook pro crashed a couple years ago that had my original itunes account setup. I've been afraid to sync my ipad with a new account because i don't want to lose all my photos.

Read this for the syncing issue. Follow the instructions and you should be fine. It will take some time and some work, but it's not that difficult to do.
Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive
You can only import photos from the camera roll album to a computer.
iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
if you are trying to move synced photos back to the computer, you may need a third party app. This one works over WiFi and works pretty well.

You can search for others in the App Store.

  • Can you retrieve deleted photos from an iPhone?

I uploaded all my photos from my iPhone onto my Macbook Pro and then deleted them from my phone. My Macbook has since crashed and I had to restore it from a past backup which did not have my photos from my phone. Is there any way to retrieve my deleted photos from my iPhone??
    Thanks

If you explicitly deleted them, they are not recoverable with normal user tools. However, some specialized forensics outfits may be able to do their magic and retrieve them for a [steep] price. They usually work for law enforcement but may offer their services to civilians.
