Can i return my imac bought yesterday?

I just bought a new iMac yesterday, but i sow on different sites that next week a new iMac is comeing... can i return it back, to give me the new one? in how many days can I return it back?
I am liveing in Spain (maybe it might help you this)
Thank you!

Best way to work out if you can return is to contact the store where you purchased it. If apple, call the sales team and quote your web order number, and they will let you know what options you have

Can I return my iMac from Lion to Snow Leopard?

Did it come with Snow Leopard originally? Or with Lion? If it came with Lion, most likely not; there are a few exceptions with machines that were built right around the release of Lion and may still boot in SL - you'd have to check with Apple as to the build number if it would work. If you have the SL install disk, yes - you can do it: but the hard drive has to be erased first so have a backup, then boot from the disk, erase the hard drive, and reinstall.

  • Can I return My IMac to exchange it for a Macbook Pro?

I have had a IMac 27 inch since march and it is the newest one. I dont like it, so can i return it for a macbook pro? I have the receipt and everything that it was bought with.
Please let me know, because im going to the apple store soon!

If it is past 30 days then no you cant, which by what you said in your post; you purchased in march. If it is in the past 30 days then you will most likely only be able to do it through corporate apple. To the best of my knowledge the Apple retail stores aren't fit to handle returns and exchanges all that well. So call 1-800-my-apple or chat with an apple store rep to ask about exchanges. If you want directions for how to chat then just ask, they are lengthy so I don't want to type them if you aren't going to use them.
Remember, you can only exchange/return within 30days, restocking fees may be applied. See Apple, Inc. For more information.

  • Returned MacBook Pro, bought 24-inch iMac!

    Hi all,
Those who have seen my recent posts (mostly in the MacBook Pro forum, but I did place one here too), will know that I have been having one or two problems moving up from my 1.9GHz G5 iMac. However, after quite a big reply to my recent post in this section of the forum, I have decided to return my MacBook Pro and go back to a desktop machine. Today (after having another play with it at the Apple Retail Store in Meadowhall, Sheffield), I was totally sold (and blown away by) the new 24-inch iMac.
I was standing there next to 24-inch iMac, MacBook Pro and MacBook (black and white versions), and even before I'd tried anything out, there was an add playing for the newly updated iPod Nano range on all the machines. I could not believe the display quality on the 24-inch iMac, it was amazing (and seemed even better than the 20" and 17" models that were next to it), when I turned to look at the MacBook Pro, it's display seemed lacking (even though it's still a lot brighter than the old PowerBook G4). Then, I started playing about with some applications, such as Logic. It was then that I saw that as much as I really wanted to be portable (and have a machine I could take around with me), the desktop machine was out perfoming the MBP substantially (thanks to the desktop machine having a 7200RPM drive (always good for music apps) and double the memory).
I turned to the assistant and said "I'll take one" (she then scared me by saying that she didn't know if she had any in stock, as it's become the store's most popular model in the last few weeks). I was lucky, they had one and I left the shop a very happy man indeed! I really cannot recommend the new 24-inch iMac enough. I've been using it at home for a few hours now and I have to say I wish I'd bought this in the first place...oh, and no stuck pixels and no strange humming noise from the display when you turn the brightness down...which I am also very very pleased about.
If you haven't checked out one of these wonderful new iMac's yet, you really owe it to yourself to do so as soon as possible!

I bought my 24" the night before the new iMac update. I even read the rumor mills of MacRumors and Appleinsider. So why did I buy it the night before? When I came home from work, my Vista machine which I always keep running 24/7 is frozen, so I rebooted and it crashed again on restart. That was the last straw that broke the camels back. I was just tired of all the wasted reboot, shutdown, and freeze problems that I could have saved with a Mac. The local Apple Store was out of the $799 mac minis which was probably a clue of an impending update, but MacRumors and AppleInsiders usually report depleted inventory in the past but didn't this time which got me thinking it won't happen. Oh well. I guess the $170 restocking fee is a biggie, but I guess I can refund the Applecare to cut the damage down.
Another option I'm thinking is to just return the iMac and get the $799 mini and be done with it. That makes eating the loss of $170 restock fee more digestible.
Third option is to call Support and ask for a refund of the difference. The 24" iMac in the refurb section of the site is listed as 28% off. So that would be nice to get such a big deduction.

  • Can i exchange the new ipad that i bought yesterday even if i used and downloaded a few apps?

Can i exchange the new ipad that i bought yesterday even if i used and downloaded a few apps? I bought the 16g wifi only from apple store and wants to exchange it to 16g wifi with 3g.

You have a 14 day return period for iPad bought from the Apple store so yes, you can take it back for a refund and buy the 3G version instead.

    You're right - that link goes to a dead-end (sorry OP ).
Looks like it's all down to the paid for one now, although you can use it in demo mode for 14 days:

You need to talk with the tax authorities in the countries to which you traveled and that of your home country. We are all end-users liek you and not Apple agents.

  • Can I return a Macbook air and get another one just after a day I bought it?

I just purchased a Macbook air 11" for someone today and aparentley he wanted a 13' so I made a mistake!!!! But I have opened the box and used the mac for an hour before I was told that they really wanted a 13". so can i return the notebook and buy a 13"??

Bearing in mind that a retailer would be giving a full refund of the purchase price and end up with a return that cannot be resold as new, and thus full price, a return of this kind is at the retailer's discretion. It therefore depends on the policy of the company or store that you bought it from since even in locations where there are good consumer protections, there is little to force a retailer into accepting the return of an item that the purchaser bought in their own error. That many do so is a consession to good customer relations than anything else.

  • Can i return my nexus 7 it keeps restarting but i bought it 9 months ago

so i bought a nexus 7 about 9 months ago i was excited to own my first tablet so i ignored the restarting in the beginning i figured google should send a patch of some sort but till this day it actually got worse i have a receipt its a really faded but i have it i also have the box.
So main question can i return it?

    Hey mark79,
Welcome to the BestBuy forums! You ask a great question. avm5689 has answered most of it and gave you the information you needed.
Just for further assistance I am going to link you to the troubleshooting/helpful tip area for nexus 7 tablets

You may also join the Nexus Google Forums and ask there for further assistance.

Just curious, is this restarting constantly, or only when you do a certain item ( such as updating )
Are you able to boot your device into safe mode?
Ensure your device's screen is on, then press & hold the Power button.
Touch & hold the Power off option in the dialog box.
Touch OK in the following dialog to start safe mode.
Does the problem persist while in safe mode?
A good piece of advice though is that there are some 3rd party apps that really mess up the nexus operating system so just a FYI.
If this only restarts while the wifi is in 5ghz that is a well known issue as well.

  • If I bought my iPhone in America from an Apple Store and have the receipt can I return it to a Japanese Apple store?

If I bought my iPhone in America from an Apple Store and have the receipt can I return it to a Japanese Apple store? Yes it is within 30 days, I bought it July 21st, meaning it is within 15 days, as well.

I would doubt it, but there's nobody here who can speak on behalf of Apple.  Phone the Japanese store: they will know far better than us fellow users.

You will have to contact the Apple Store you bought the card from and ask, but if you scratched off the coating to expose the redemption code, then no, they won't take it back.
    Regards.
