Can I return my MacBook Air past the return date?
Hi, I have a question that I've been googling but I haven't been able to find an answer to anywhere. Can I return a MacBook Air past the return date to an Apple store if it is still in shrink-wrap and I have a receipt? Thanks.
I would think you cannot return a product after the return date has passed.

I recently bought a haswell series 13" macbook air exactly 1 week before the introduction of the new haswell macbook pros. After considering the spec and price difference I realized I'd rather have the pro. I looked on the returns tab on the website. It said I can return my product within 14 days. Is it possible for me to exchange my air for the pro without having to go through returning my macbook air and buying the pro? I realized the price difference wasn't all that differernt and I wouldn't mind the extra power. I currently have the 13" macbook air i5 with 8gb. I strongly doubt it. The best thing for you to do is to return this one before the 14 days expire. If the time passes you will have to keep the Air and try to sell it privately.
Once Apple accepts the Air back and you know you are getting a refund you can start the order process for the Pro.

No. That feature is only available on iMacs.

Ahh, you want to WIPE the entire drive,.....command R on startup, disk utilities....select MacIntosh HD,......ERASE it format it in MAC OSX extended journaled.
after than, you can do a wifi or ethernet reinstall to factory OUT OF BOX new condition. Usually takes 1.5 to 2 hours if you have a descent fast www connection. -
How do i copy content from one hard rive to another through my macbook air? the copy and paste option doesn't work
It's because of the extension of the hard drive is a Windows extension ( most likely MSDOS or Ex-FAT), meaning you can only read but not write. If there are no important files (or you can copy the whole thing to your computer/mac) you can just reformat the hard drive and change the extension to NTFS (readable and writable on both windows and mac) or Mac OS Extended (readable and writable on Mac, readable on windows).
Go to DISK UTILITY
Choose the Hard Disk you intended
ERASE
You can choose either

Hi, my MacBook Air is not working anymore if it's not connected with the power cable. It's pretty new so I can't imagine that the battery is dead already. Why can't I use my MacBook Air without the power cable even though I charged it for hours?

Can I return my MacBook Air for a full refund
I bought a MacBook Air on the 10th of December and I am disappointed about its lack of power especially as I was going to buy a MacBook Pro but I was advised at the apple store to get a MacBook Air as they thought it would suit my needs better. Will I be able to take the laptop back and get a full refund and use the money towards a MacBook Pro?

how can i purchase a macbook air in Nigeria? apple has no shop in the entire country and independent dealers charge ridiculously sometimes more than double the prices of mac products without guarantee of getting it with required specifications. its sad cos Nigeria has a very large apple market plus phones and most recently ipads especially. its been frustrating trying to get a macbook, even have to wait for when someone will travel out of the country, then you send the person(thats if you have the money at that time). Please somebody help inform apple maybe they can do something about this, its really disappointing.

If the ibooks were purchased from Apple, and download new purchases is selected in iBooks preferences, then yes.

Log into the app store using the Apple ID you used to set your computer up. Look under purchases. If it is not there you may need to accept it or to unhide it
