Theoretically, it should work but at a lower speed. However, it may cause problems with your computer, so I don't recommend you to do that. Instead, always install 800 MHz RAM modules if your Mac only supports that type of memory in order to avoid problems (OS X is a bit special with memory)

Can I run more than one Node Manager per machine?

Hia,
We have a situation in our project where we need to run different domains on a Solaris machine in different java modes.
Say Domain1 should be running in 32bit version of java where as Domain2 should be running in 64bit mode due to the nature of testing currently going on in different domains.
We could successfully get the two domains running in different java modes in parallel by modifying the start scripts to decide which Sud data model to start the servers based on certain parms. However, the pain here is with the Node Manager.
My understanding is that there should be one Node Manager running per machine for all the domains running on that machine. So when ever I have to run a domain in a java mode different to that of what Node Manager is running on, I had to kill the node manager and start it in the same version that I want to start the other servers in since Node Manager uses its starting parms internally to start the Managed Servers (Note: there is no issue in running the Admin Server regardless of the node manager mode as expected).
Can somebody advise me if there is any way to get around this hassle?
I want to know if we can run more than one node manager per machine.
Below are the details of my env.
Weblogic Server 10.3
Solaris 10 SPARC 64 bit (SunOS 5.10 Generic_142900-14 sun4v sparc)
java version "1.6.0_20"

You can run as many node manager as you want in a particular machine.
At the time of starting the node manager you need to pass hostname & Port.
This will start the nodemanager on different ports of a machine.
sh startNodeManager.sh <hostname> <port>
eg:- sh startNodeManager.sh dev_machine_01 5556
sh startNodeManager.sh dev_machine_01 5557
sh startNodeManager.sh dev_machine_01 5558
After starting your node manager in different ports you need to change machine details from admin console.

Can i run 10g & 11g application URL on same machine?

Our customer need to run two type of our application on his PC: one is developed by Forms 10g and the second is developed by Forms 11g.
The problem is that to this day he works with 10g only and had use Java 6 to run it (He run it from IE).
Now, when he try to run application that is developed by Forms 11g he stacked and application don't run.
When i install Java 7 on the PC - application that is developed by Forms 11g is working fine, but the application that is developed by Forms 10g don't run.
How can i run both applications on same PC?

You can run forms 11g on Java 6, why can you not run both on a relatively recent version of Java 6 (ensuring the Forms 10g is patched to latest might be needed).

Can I run 1 InDesign CC license on 2 machines? (1 weekdays at work, 1 weekend at home)

I have purchased a CC InDesign license for my iMac at my office. I also would like to do some work on my projects in the weekend from home so I want to use the same license for my home iMac. The license will thus never be used by 2 machines at the same time. When I try to upgrade my trial version at home it keeps asking me for a license number. I cannot any license number in my Adobe account. Am i doing something wrong or does Adobe not allow for a single license to run on different machines that are owned by the same user.? I also legally use Enfocus Connect You without problems on 2 machines that are only used alternately.

One CC purchase entitles you to activate the license two times, So if the CC has not been activated for the second time, you can install & activate it on the second machine.
In case it has already been activated twice, you can deactivate it from any of the previous machine & activate it on the third machine.

Can you run CRXIR1 and CRXIR2 on the same machine?

I have CR XI R1 Developer edition installed on a workstation which I use to maintain imbedded reports in a large system written in VC++ V6, as well as several newer applications written in VB2003. The IT department issued me a new machine on which is installed VB2005. Now I receive errors in my VB applications when using the ExportToDisk function.
I understand that I need to upgrade to CR XI R2 to be compatible with VB2005. How will that affect my older code written in VC++ V6?

Well, you don't really need CR XI r2 to be compatible with .NET 2005 as .NET 2005 ships with CR 10.2. Now, if you want to be at CR XI with the COM apps (VB and C++) as well as .NET 2005, then you do need CR XI r2. (CR XI does not have assemblies for the 2.0 framework)
Personally, I would not recommend CR XI r1 and CR XI r2 on the same computer. Theoretically this should be OK, but from experience, I find that occasionally CR XI r1 and CR XI r2 just don't like to play together...
I'm not sure where you want to go with this now; resolve the export error, then move on, or?

If you are purchasing a new MBA it would be worth paying the extra $100 for 8 GB of RAM. If you are purchasing a used MBA then 4 GB of RAM meets or surpasses the minimum memory requirements listed above but should you start composing or editing more complex objects/scenes you would notice a difference.

Can I run Leopard OS 10.5 on my PowerBook G4

I have an older PowerBook G4. Can I run Leopard OS 10.5 on this machine? Right now it is running 10.4.11. I purchased a new Verizon iPhone but that needs iTunes version 10.2.1 and that will not run on anything less than Leopard 10.5. I own a retail version of Leopard so that is not a problem. I just want to know if there's enough power to not have it bog down. It has 1.33GHz PowerPC G4 processor with 1.25 GB of RAM. Thanks.

When you upgrade the OS, do it via Archive & Install. See About the Archive and Install feature http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1710

Can I run Mountain lion?

From what I can see online it's saying I can't run Mountain lion on my iMac however if I go by just the spec's alone it seems I could run it. I'm not sure if I should just go ahead and try to see if it runs or not so I thought I would post the spec's here and see.

I don't have much in the way of documation for this iMac as it was purchased from a college auction in the summer. However I do know that this college is know for going with higher end models and addding extra stuff to their machines to handle the Adobe Creative Suits better.
Also the main reason for me wanting to update this iMac is because as I have other apple products and it seems like iCloud will help me keep things in sync better. As a heavy users of iCalendar I would love to have this sync acrros all my devices.
The devies in question that I want to sync besides the iMac are a MacBookPro5,5, iPhone 4, and a iPad with Retina display
Also I take it, it's safe to assume my MacBookPro5,5 will run Mountain Lion just fine?
P.S - When I download Mountain Lion from the app store can I use it on both my machines or is it a single use download?

My compiled swf can't run on web

My compiled swf can't be browsed on web,but it works fine on
localhost. Which means that my compiled swf can run on localhost,
but if I try to run the swf on web(from other machine), then it
will hold for a long time, and I can't see anything but a grey
screen. I wrap my swf file via Flex builder. I can't figure it out.
Is there any one who have ever had experences like this, and know
the solutions?

I have had the same or similar problem, in my case with
ColdFusion projects. I have uploaded several sample projects to my
shared hosting web server; all the projects that do not use a
server run fine, buit I have never been able to make the CF
projects run. I have posted about this two or three times, but
nobody ever answered.
Maybe our question was too stupid to deserve an answer from
busy people. I never thought of this, but today I got an email from
my Hosting provider. Quoting part of that message:
“We will be performing a ColdFusion upgrade to CFMX
7.02 on the
server where your account(s), timo, mochica, is/are hosted.
We have
scheduled the upgrade to take place between 3:00 AM EDT and
6:00 AM
EDT on Saturday, August 5th, 2006.
We do not anticipate more than 15 minutes of downtime once
the
maintenance begins .....”
Also, I found that the projects that do run require all those
files that are generated when FB builds the project, so I have been
uploading the entire output folder (usually, but not always,
‘bin’).
I’m hoping I won’t have any more problems after
Saturday.

iTunes will run fine with the media on an external drive.
However, I suggest that a tablet computer with a tiny hard drive is not ideal as the primary computer for managing an iTunes library, even a small one. If you have another machine, perhaps a big, boxy, inexpensive old desktop with a decent amount of storage, that might be a better choice.

Hi,
We have had the same problem in a non-express application
with a heavy server partition. In our case, the error was not
systematic, depending on the server workload at the time we
tried to partition and run.
The work-around we're using is to put the -fm flags (increasing the x
parameter to say 30000) in the 'server arguments' of your server
partition
properties in the partition workshop. Note that if your server is a Unix
platform,
you need to put double-quotes before and after the parenthesis in the -fm
syntax.

application. Since we have many database classes in our Business
Model we
are wondering if Forte is timing out during the partition phase or if
the
server partition is running out of memory . The following error

I have a question about SQLJ in SAP NWDS.
1.I created a java dictionary project,and then create the table , then depoly it.it's ok.
2.I created a java normal project including the above java dictionary project.
3.I used the SQLJ tech in the java normal project,exporting the opensqllib.jar,sqljapi.jar,sqljc.jar,sqljimpl.jar.
4.I coded the normal project,and export the project .jar,everything is ok.
<b>5.But when i runed the project in NWDS,the error appeared:java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sap/sql/log/OpenSQLException

Why not try to import your SQLJ project in SAP NWDS. Add all the jars mentioned to the project path both for compile time as well as runtime. Now try running he project. Once you are able to bypass java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError, you will get other errors related to SQL statements. These Oracle SQL statements needs to be converted to OpenSQL format.

Hi, I got the problem with Firefox 27.0.1. I can not run Selenium on Firefox after login a website for automation testing. The browser is not responding. However when I close Nunit, the page is back to be normal. The title is returned to the name of website without "not responding". I sure this problem did not happen on Firefox version 26. I just got this problem when firefox upgrading automatically to version 27. Please help me fix this problem because it is very important for my work. Hi, the work around suggested above should put you in working mode in the meantime. However to help investigate the issue it is possible to analyze what is not loading or taking a long time by analyzing the network traffic or http headers of the Nunit web page.
