Can I run automatically in another report after a runned report?
Like: I open a report, I click on Run/View and then the pdf is on screen BI Publisher runs another report (on screen)?

Hi,
You can maintain source list Tcode ME-01 and make it MRP relevant by selecting Sorce list MRP relevant. In sorce list you can maintain vendor and material data valid for particular period and make it MRP relevant.
With this you can automatically generate purchase order from Purchase requisitions after MRP Run.

Testing Report's data on OOTB Reports after first Run

Hi Gurus,
I am getting Data in the Financial Analytics Reports after doing all the required configurations, but how do i test if the data thats coming is correct.
( I think somebody needs to create and fire the SQL in EBS database and recreate the same exact report from sql)
But for this, one should be well versed with the Payables, Receivables and General Ledger Data model..
Should this testing be done by an OBIA Consultant?
Need guidance here , as i am the only one doing all the stuff here... and its overwhelming with the amount of knowledge and work required.
My source is EBS R 12.1.3
BI Apps version is 7.9.6.4

You have to create an alert in the system and you can attach a query to this. Go to Administration > Alerts Management. If you want to create an alert programmatically you can accomplish the same via the DI API using the messages object.

we have a requirement where we need to develop the material shortage alv report, when i searched in SCN i got information like we can achieve this by

What does it mean when you can't restore your iPhone4? After I run "restore" I receive a message telling me my phone is in recovery mode and I must run "restore" HELP!

I can't restore my iPhone 4. It went nuts today. Went to "voice control", called people on my contact list, home button is dead. Thought a sync would help. New software available. Did download. Can't load anything. Phone in "recovery mode" do restore. OOPS! I did restore, and then am told the phone is in recovery mode, do it all again. OK I have. Same message. HELP!

Thanks Larry. I ended up at the genius bar at the local Apple store. My home button had died which is why the phone was constantly going to Voice Control. The phone was replaced. Thanks for answering. I checked out the link and ordinarily that would have done the trick.

Reports in Favorite Reports did not run when open

In SCOM 2012, I have run a few reports with the report template in the default SCOM management pack and saved them in the Favorite Report. When I open the saved reports at the Favorite Report again, they suppose to be run automatically. However, when I open
the report, it stopped at the parameters page and I need to click the run button explicitly. Does any one know why it is so and how can I make it run automatically when I open the reports which I have saved in the Favorite Report.

First of all, there is no error at all and no message in the event log that related to this issue. The report saved in Favorite Reports did able to run successfully without any error just only I need to click the run button manually. Suppose it should run
automatically, right?
Second, there actually two MS (say MS01 and MS02) and both of them point to the same SSRS. Say for example, the report saved in the Favorite Reports at the Operation console on MS01 will not run automatically when open it. The behavior is the same when using
the Operation console on MS02 to open that particular report saved on MS01.
However, when I save a report in the Favorite Reports at the Operation console on MS02, it will run automatically when I reopen it. Then I use the Operation console on MS01 to reopen this report, it will run automatically as expected.
In short, report saved in MS01 got problem no matter where you open it. Report saved in MS02 got no problem no matter where you open it. It is very weird and I don't know what setting in SCOM 2012 would affect this behavior. In a big head right now...

After Schedule , Blank Report

I add a variable to report , After scheduling the report , content,datas of the report are empty.But If I remove variable , after schedule , the report datas and contents are normal appearing.In both cases the report save to my computer as a excel , there is no problem.

After I covered 250 miles I got the automated congratualtions, but now after every run I get the recorded message again saying I just covered another 250 miles. Can I reset or stop it without completly resetting everything?

Same issue here. This is really disappointing. I used to look forward to the milestone messages after each run, especially when I was surprised by a celebrity voice. Now, it's the same thing every single time, "Congratulations on another 250 miles. Way to go!" or something along those lines. I was proud of the 250 mile mark, but please...I don't want to hear it every time!
I hope there's some movement on this issue.

Crystal Reports: report created on a system can't run on another

Having a problem with fully qualified table names. I have a report that was developed offsite. In the 'show sql query' none of the tables are fully qualified (prefixed with the database name). I added a new table and the table is shown as prefixed with the local database name. I port it to our web site that uses the same logical database (physically not the same) but with a differenct database name. The report won't run as it can't find the table that is prefixed with the other database name.

What Don is referencing is the fact that the same database can have schemas (or owners) in the same database. A fully qualified table name actually has 4 parts
Server Name
Database Name
Schema Name
Table Name
Because of this, you CAN have 2 or more tables with the same name, in the same database, as long as they have different schemas.
The "dbo" that you referenced previously is SQL Server's default schema. BTW "dbo" is short for "database owner".
If you look at the AdventureWorks sample database (the one that ships w SQL 2005 & 2008) you'll see what I'm talking about. If the "dbo" is the only one in use in your database, then you have no worries about how you are doing it.

Can any body guide me in how to do this without executing the report separetly means the report should be called after the completion of the transaction automatically.
I dont want to use workflow also so is there any other way?

What i understood was that you need to run a standard transaction after another transaction to run automatically.....
it is possible if the program for the first t-code is that of a 'Zprogram'
so in the program for the first tcode..if it is performing an operation and does not need user interaction(like user inputs) then in the end of the code,You need to
do a call transaction and return <b>or</b> Submit program and return
wherein you need to pass all sufficient parameters to the second program
