Can I save a Toshiba recovery after years of use?

I saved a recovery when the computer was new, but that saved copy is not available now. Can I save a recovery again, even after years of use? I am having computer problems, so i plan to do a system restore and hope that all returns OK to an earlier good version. Before I start that system restore, however, I would like to have a recovery point saved as a backup in case the system restore does not work properly. I will start that system restore in a few hours, so any quick replies will be much appreciated. Thanks!

That's fine, but you still need the recovery discs for possible use when, for instance, you need to restore to a new hard disk.
The answer is Yes you can. For instructions, see the section Creating recovery media, which begins on p. 65 of the User's Guide.

What operating system are you currently running on? Based on that, the driver support will be different. Reference this table for more information:

It looks like you might need a newer version of our DAQ Drivers. Is the other computer that is running correctly still using DAQ 6.5.1?

Anybody knows How to save report in PersonalCategory after creating it using java panel?
I dont want to save it in public folder. I want to save report (webi) in user's personal category.
can anybody send me source code?

i'm assuming that you have seen my post that i did successfuly save report in user's personal category.
Actually the report is created in webi java panel using RE SDK and is saved in Report Sample Folder then i'm saving it in user's personal category by following code

Can't "save as" in CS6 after a while

After working for some time in CS6 several of the program's features stop working. These include "save as", "new layer" "filter>blur" etc. (doesn't seem to be any commonality among them). I can still "save", though. Quitting and restarting fixes this. Sometimes I go for 12 hours without a problem, other times it occurs after an hour. I'm running XP, I have 50GB free on a 111GB hard drive (my scratch disk). This drive has been defragged, and I also ran disk cleanup on it. I have 2G of ram (efficiency remains at 100% always), and have done all the optimizations listed on the Adobe site. Yet, this still occurs. I used the history log to see if any particular action seems to precede the problem, but nothing turned up there (dozens of "eyedropper" followed by "paint brush", that's it). I've spent three lengthy chat sessions with Adobe help, and about 6 hours uninstalling, reinstalling, and cleaning off space on my hard drive per their advice... but still, the problem persists. I think maybe it's time to go back to CS4...

XP uses up resources, and has leaks all over the place. If you use it heavily it's necessary to reboot from time to time. Newer versions of the OS have made this much better. It's one of the best reasons for upgrading.
It's possible Photoshop CS6, being optimized for larger systems with newer OSs, exercises XP in ways that cause these resources to be used up more quickly.
As a workaround, close and reopen Photoshop from time to time (e.g., between images). Obviously that adds some steps if you really are working on the same image all day.

Since updating to mavericks on my IMAC, I can not save a scan using my HP photo smart 3180 scanner. I get an error message: the file could not be written to. Check properties for the file to make sure it in not in read-only. I had no problem saving scanned documents before the update.

and to anywhere you like, including Preview which can handle multiple PDF doc's.
If you do not like or do not wish to spend a little time figuring out Image Capture, then try scanning with Preview like HP is suggesting in the link that baltwo posted.

I solved it for myself: it was my HP smart-web printer crap that was a plug in and add on for firefox that somehow automatically got installed when I upgraded to 5. I disabled both in the add-ons manager, and voila, printing is working.
It seems there are many things, like this and the Google toolbar, that were screwed by the oddly fast update to 5. Looks like Mozilla didn't give anybody any notice! Must've been some really bad security hole.

Can i save the wifi password after being connected?

So im at my aunts house, she typed in her wifi password and forgot to press save to keychain. Im connected to it right now, but my aunt is gone because im babysitting for my cousin. She wont be back for a few hours. Can i enter something in the settings or the terminal, because my laptops about to die and if it does, it will turn on and i cant connect cause i dont know the password and i cant call her cause she doesnt have a phone.

Can`t save numbers files anymore after upgrading to mac os x lion

i am dumbstruck.
right after upgrading my snow leopard system to the new mac os x lion i am not able to save old files of Numbers any longer.
i was about to update a file and it says that the permissions wouldn`t fit.
but even when i change all the permissions to 777 to problem persists.
any clue whats going on here? apple?!

meanwhile i uninstalled numbers and reinstalled it.
still had the problem with the old files, but now i could somehow make a duplicate (copy) of the file under discussion and save it back to disk. so i am at least able to continue with older files.

Stupid question, I know, but after years of using Firefox, on this one I can't find the Page Reload icon?? Please help.

In the past, when I want to refresh a page, I've simply gone to the page reload icon on the toolbar. On the new version, I can't fin the reload icon. Sorry I know this is a very stupid question,, but I just can't find that reload icon. The toolbar is a lot different from previous versions, but I'm sure tht pesky icon must be there somewhere!!

Not a stupid question at all :) You should take a look at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/common-questions-after-upgrading-firefox-36 this article with common questions after upgrading].
You could also benefit from the looking at the article on [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-customize-toolbars customizing the tool bar]. That will show you not only how to verify that you have the refresh button, but give you options on where it lives as well.

Can't save new comm channels after upgrade to PI 711

I've been provided a recently upgraded PI system, 7.11 from 7.1.
After creating a new comm channel and adapter type, and trying to save, the following error is displayed:
"The chosen Adapter Engine has version 710 but the chosen Adapter Metadata has version 711. Use Adapter Metadata with the same or with a lower version as the Adapter Engine instead"
At the beginning I couldn't even see the File/RFC/Idoc/... adapter type of SWCV 7.11. I could only select the adapter types of SWCV 7.10. so I imported the ESR content for SWC SAP_BASIS 7.11. Now when selecting the adapter type I have both versions, 7.10 and 7.11.
I suspect some post upgrade operation was skipped, but I'm not sure.

I do have the same issue.
My PI 7.11 system is sending its data, RZ70 for ABAP and SLD_DATA_Supplier for JAVA - to our SAP Solution Manager.
SAP Solution Manager's SLD runs on SAP NetWeaver 7.01.
PI's SLD runs on SAP NetWeaver 7.11.
What do you mean by local SLD ?
Do you mean that my PI system must pointed to its own SLD, running on SAP NW 7.11 ?
