Can I save data in a snapshot from signal express 2013 LE?

Can I save data (in txt or excel format) from a snapshot from signal express 2013 LE? My data buffer is too larege to export to excel. When I try to take a snapshot, I do not see any data. Are snapshots supported in the LE mode? This is the free version that comes with the USB 6009 ADC.

Yes, the snapshot function is available for SignalExpress 2013 LE. Does the snapshot function as intended when you try other projects?

But I don't want everything I ever try to have him do result in "you need your parent's computer for this." It's getting really embarrassing. It took a decade to convert them away from windows now I'm trying to keep them away from these freedom limited iOS devices and they won't listen. Then it becomes my responsibility to make their iPads print to their fancy pre-airprint color laser jet printers, get home movies onto them, and countless other things. It's driving me nuts.
I have converted these files to a format that the iOS devices will play directly off of dropbox. Now, how do I get the infernal devices to save it instead of play it?

There is also 'Product.Diet.100-20' member which is shared.In the Excel I can't save data under 'Product.100.100-20', but I can under 'Product.Diet.100-20'. Make sure you do not have both members on the page at the same time if you are tring to Lock and Send.100 100-20Diet 100-20 (Shared)You can't send data to one if the other has a diffent value. Remove one member or make the number the same in both places.You message is a little unclear. Because 100-20 is where the data is stored the Shared Member is only a pointer. If you have only 100-20 on a sheet and lock and send, then zoom-in on the dimension to show both 100 and diet members and their children. i'm trying to access the digital inputs of an TEK MSO2024 from signal express, but no luck.
I'm using SignalExpress2011, tkpdo2 ivi driver.
Seems like this driver doesn't support digital input, anyone got a solution or another driver?

Hello,
The best to way drive digital outputs while acquiring analog inputs is to create two steps in Signal Express. Each step will execute relatively at the same time but there is no way to correlate or synchronize DIO with AI on a 6008 because DIO on that device is software timed while AI is hardware timed. Below is the 'Getting Started with Signal Express' manual which can aid in creating an AI and DIO step. Also, if you need additional examples later, they are located in the Help->Open Examples.

Can i save data from a remote server to a client computer?

written a vi which is used to collect data and store it in a file.data colection is done on a remote system.i am able to control the front pannel frm the client using front panel control in labview 6.1 using web browser.
how can i view this data once the experiment is over.(ie the file in server)
the client and server are on WAN.
should i write it to a FTP server.
how should i go abt it,

Hi,
The easiest way is to save file into shared directory on remote PC. Then you can read this file with reading functions from "File I/O" palette. In this case you should specify path to the file for example as (in windows):
\\LocalNameOfRemotePC\C\Documents and Settings\Sithara\My Documents\sharedDir\myfile.txt
first you write the name of remote PC in local net, then disk name, and path to the file.

If you want to do excel formatting and really have full functionality in Excel without having to buy the reports toolkit, you can use the Excel ActiveX controls. If you have Excel installed you can use ActiveX references to do anything you want excel to do for you. Use an automation reference and select the Excel class. I forget what its called, but you should be able to find what does what without too much problem. You just use methods from the reference. It takes a bit of work to figure out what everything does, but I have written huge formatting vi's that open excel, format cells, run macros, and save files in excel and then close excel when its done. It all depends on how fancy you want to get.

I have a problem with data in psa. If a select a mange of PSA, I see some request. I select one of them to see data. But there is no data. How is it possible?
If you delete a reques from psa, that request desappears from the psa, doesn't it?

it dosn't work. The problem is that you can see different green requests in manage from psa, but it is not possible to see internal data.
If I try to see data with se16 and the psa table, there are data for one request, but not for request that i need.
any idea? is very important to rescue this request.

How can I save finished and shared movies from old iMovieHD-projects

Hi there, I have a big problem:
I have found some old iMovieHD 6 Projects. (.iMovieProject) that already have been finished years ago.
Now I would like to save the finished movies outside the projects but I can't find a way to do this although I've been searching in the www for hours.
When I go to the folder 'shared movies' I find a small .mov file - it's only some KB big.
I can start this and the movie plays with no problem im QuickTime Player 7, the quality ist quite ok - original films were .DV from a camcorder.
When I use iDVD I can take this movie without problems and burn it as DVD or .img on my hard disk.
In this .img I can find the folder VIDEO-TS where I can find the movie al .VOB. But the Quality is really awful.
How can I save the finished movie right out of the folder 'shared movies' in the best quality, maybe as .mov or other ?
I can't install iMovieHD 6.0.3 because my old iLive install-DVD was sold with my old macbook years ago and I don't know if it would work anyway on Mavericks 10.9.5
Now I have iMovie 10 and 11. Importing the old projects would not solve the problem because only the original clips were imported, not the project itself.
Would be QuickTime Pro a solution ? There are items like 'save as' or 'export' but I don't know if it works with this kind of files...

Save the clips as Quicktime files (full quality), then you can import them into later versions of iMovie. An iMovie 6 project would not be compatible with recent versions of iMovie.

Each set of test data needs to be saved under a different worksheet. Is this possible and how can I do it?

As the example that Dennis pointed out, this can be done using activeX. In addition to that example I have another that demonstrates how to create a new workbook with multiple worksheets and save data to each of them. I hope that between the two you can get an idea of what to do.

Reloading archived data should be an exception rather than the general case, since data should be
archived only if it is not needed in the database anymore. When the archived data target is serving also as a
datamart to populate other data targets, Its recommend that you load the data to a copy of the original
(archived) data target, and combine the two resulting data targets with a MultiProvider.
In order to reload the data to a data target, you have to use the export DataSource of the archived data
target. Therefore, you create an update rule based on the respective InfoSource (technical name 8<data
target name>). You then trigger the upload either by using Update ODS data in data target or by
replicating the DataSources of the MYSELF source system and subsequently scheduling an InfoPackage
for the respective InfoSource
If you want to read the data for reporting or
control purposes, you have to write a report, which reads data from the archive files sequentially.
Alternatively, you can also use the Archiving Information System (AS). This tool enables you to define an
InfoStructure, and create reports based on these InfoStructures. The InfoStructures define an index for
the archive file data. At the moment, the archiving process in the BW system does not fill the
InfoStructures during the archiving session automatically. This has to be performed manually when
needed.
Another way of displaying data from the archive file is by using the Extractor checker (TCODE RSA3).
Enter the name of the export DataSource of the respective data target (name of the data target preceded
by 8), and choose the archive files that are to be read. The extractor checker reads the selected archive
files sequentially. Selection conditions can be entered for filtering but have to be entered in in internal
format
It will remain same in the change log table.

Whewn using Firefox 5, I can't save or print PDF's from the Federal Court Websites. It might be about associating files in Firefox

Internet Explorer works for this but Firefox does not. And, it is only the PDF's on the U.S. Court System's Pacer or CM/ECF websites.

I had been having a similar problem with Safari pdf files despite downloading the latest Adobe Reader XI.
I would constantly get messages - There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired. And I would get a blank page when I tried to print the pdf if I tried printing from the Safari web page using File - Print from the top toolbar on my laptop.
But at last I came across the grey Safari lozenge with action icons too!.
This allowed me, without downloading the pdf, to print the pdf file direct from the Safari page by using the Print icon on the grey lozenge that appears centrally three quarters down the screen.
Then I discovered that if I save the pdf using the Save icon from this same grey lozenge on the Safari page I can open and print this pdf version from my desktop.
I've tested it with a couple of different pdf files and these methods work using the grey lozenge icons but the same pdfs files don't work using File - Save As on the Tool Bar.

I have a master data object which has every day loading from one particular data source. Now I got a requirement to load data from another data source. If we load data from more than one data source , will there be any problem with data? Will it accept loading from more than one data source.?

We can load the data to target morethan one datasource.Thats advantage in BI compare to BW. It will accept loading from more than one datasource.but you have to take care about characteristic and attributes are the same in both datasources like that.
