Can I save or sync my favourites off my 1020?

I'm desperately trying to save all the bookmarks off my 1020 before it goes for repair. Does anyone know how I can do this??

if you use the same Windowsphone/live/Hotmail account on your phone that you do if you are using for windows 8 pc, when you open up the internet explorer, if you have your home screen set to about:tab, then there is a drop down in the bottom left that allows you to choose what links you want to use based on which device that has synced.
also, if you do not have windows 8 but use internet explorer and do have that same Windowsphone account added to your outlook or windows mail, than you may see your favorites from you phone in the internet explorer/favorites/phone

How can I save to iCloud after turning OFF "Documents and Data"?

I seldom store documents on iCloud, and I was tired of having iCloud be the default save location for my Numbers documents, so I went into iCloud Preferences and de-selected "Documents and Data". That worked. Now iCloud is no longer the default save location.
But if I wanted to save the occasional spreadsheet on iCloud, how do I get it there without turning "Documents and Data" back on? I thought there was a way to select iCloud as an optional save location, but can't figure out how to do it.

I think the easiest way to get around this problem is to keep a blank document in your Documents folder , the duplicate and save as needed. The default loacation in this case is where the document is currently stored.

So, Apple in it's infinate wisdom has nearly ruined my honeymoon and I'm at my wits end to save what is left of my digital archive of the trip. How on earth can I SAVE my photo stream pictures OFF of an iDevice?? I have 210 pictures that I desperately need to save onto my computer and the only place they exist at the moment is inside the photostream.
Not that it matters, but let me vent... the reason they only exist is in the photo stream is because of Apple's under-prepared servers for iOS5 deployment and a glitch in iTunes that wiped my phone immediately as I plugged it in today (no sync, no confirm, just plug, beep, and then a wiped phone in under 5 seconds).
I lost all of my phone content, which luckilly I'm an exchange user so the most important stuff is always duplicated off the device. But my pictures and video from my week long honeymoon were on my phone and while SOME of them did sync to iCloud, not all of them did (still don't know why THAT is - but that's the next mission) and NONE of my videos were in the cloud. On top of that, no backup has been done by iCloud in over a week even though I have been on wifi and charging several nights on the trip, and all last night once I got home. No backup. Wiped phone. *** Apple.
Where I stand right now is a photo stream full of pictures that I want to save and cannot seem to get to. First thought was that since iCloud is a cloud based service I bet I can log into a web site and see all of my content an save it from there. Nope. This is Apple so of course that option would make too much sense. All I can do from the web portal is look at pretty icons and delete my pictures. I can't even browse them, much less save them. Again, ***.
So next on my now restored phone (from a week old backup) I can see my photo stream and a nice little save button exists. Good, that'll save it to the camera roll and I can copy them off like the other pictures. Nope. I select some pictures, click save, and nothing happens. I select 20 or so pictures, click save, and 2 pictures show up in my camera roll?? Again, *** Apple.
So there is also an option to add the pictures to a new album. Ok, here we go. Select all 210 pictures, add to a new album, and yes it makes a new album. Now to save that album off to my PC... NOPE. The album is nowhere to be found in the file system (where the camera roll pictures live).
Ok, so at least I can now back up my phone so I know that these pictures won't just fall off the iCloud in 30 days. Backup goes fine... and is 30M in size. Son of a...! There is no way that backup includes all those pictures.
I installed the Windows iCloud manager - that sounds like it would let you MANAGE your iCloud content, but nope. You can manage your payment info, and have it stream NEW photos to you, but you cannot get to your existing photos! One last time Apple... W T F.

Welcome to the Apple community.
Yes you can do that, select the rectangle with the arrow in it, in the top right hand corner of your photo stream screen and select the pictures you wish to save to your camera roll then tap the save button at the bottom of the screen and choose camera roll from the options that appear.

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Other free programs are Pod Player, SharePod and Floola and iDump andiPodRobot.
If you want to recover just the structure of playlists from the iPod (and not the actual song files themselves), there's iRepo for Windows. which I understand has this feature along with all the standard features for these programs.
iPodRip also has the feature enabling you to reconstruct playlists.
There is also CopyTrans. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free. It also supports video transfer.

You must put each device on the Verizon cloud.
Not both lines on one.
Go and set up a my Verizon account for the second line and you will have Verizon cloud service on that line.
Oh the term "icloud" is a trademark of Apple Inc. Verizon is not Apple.

You won't be able to, just by navigating out the iPod's photos folder in iTunes. You'll likely need the help of some sort of third party software to get the job done for you. One thing you'll want to keep in mind about these photos is that they are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnail versions that were optimized for viewing on your iPod's Video smaller 2.5" LCD display.

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

Calendar can't save event to exchange server

Since moving to Yosemite I've been getting this error message with calendar - "Calendar can't save event "{event name}" to the Exchange server."
I'm unable to find any fix, including turning on/off time zone support. I've also re-established the exchange account more than once - each time the error eventually comes back (with a different calendar event).
Here's a link to a discussion on this subject, however, it was created under OS X Mountain Lion. I never encountered this issue prior to Yosemite. Thus, I created a new discussion here under OS X Yosemite.

I had this issue too. Since all my data was present on the exchange server, I decided for the "delete" approach. First i quit the calendar app, then I went into library/calendars. There i deleted all files including Calendar cache and several folders ending on .exhange and .calendar. After a reboot i reconfigured my exchange account and everything seems to work fine now.

Syncing via iTunes means that it syncs only one folder at a time. So let's say I sync 'susan's birthday', I can connect my ipad to my computer, open iTunes, choose photos and that folder and sync them and they'll be there. Well the next month it's time for Mary's birthday. If I sync that folder it will remove Susan's photos.
One folder at a time, and the built in photo app will discard any folders to organize the photos by date taken, not the name.
Also, if you sync the photos on you must sync them off, they are not deletable on the iPad.
Which is why I second the recommendation for dropbox. Or there are other photo apps out there with more flexibility. ANymore if I want photos on my iPad I simply mail them to myself and save them from the mail. I still can't really organize them but at least I have more control of them on my iPad than I do if I sync them.

is there any way i can restore my photos onto my computer off my phone whilst it is in recovery mode?
any suggestions would be appreciated this is my last hope - they werent backed up onto icloud

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...

I tunes will not sync voice memos off of Iphone in yosemite

I just updated my macbookpro with the new Yosemite update. However, It won't let me sync voice memos off of my phone! I tried the same thing with my music library and I can only add to the iphone. It will sync music and voice memos on but not off. Photos and videos have come off my iphone so it is not an issue of nothing can be taken off. I have tried fiddling with new itunes forever but I just can't figure it out!
Oh and also it won't sync my contacts off my phone either....
If it helps, it is an iphone 4 so that may be a problem?

I use a program called iTools. It's an alternative for iTunes and it's more like import/export type of thing rather than sync. I like the windows version better but the Mac version works ok too. And it is free
