Not like you can with iTunes, if that is what you mean. But you can simply drag-n-drop the eBook from iBooks to the external HDD.

Video Remixer in flash How can user save there content?

If I created a video remixer for my user how can they save
content they remix. How do they send it to there phone or email the
remix video that they created to others. I can make the mixer but

Can I "save" the content layout per individual folder?

Depending upon the content within a folder, some folders I prefer to view as a list, while other folders as thumbnails. For example, a folder with all subfolders, I want in a list view. Then when I open up a subfolder, if it contains images, I want to view them as thumbnails. Is there a way to save the layout preference per folder so I'm not constantly having to change my view each time I go to another folder?

Can't save the contents of my pop-up menu

I'm trying to create pop-up menus in Dreamweaver. I created
buttons that are .jpg images. I click on the + sign in Behaviors
and select Show Pop-up Menu. I replace the "New Item" text with my
own text and link it to a page, then I click OK. The dialogue box
closes. When I open it again none of the work I just did is there.
It was not saved. When preview it in a browser the pop-up menu does
not appear.

I'd strongly advise that you use another approach to create
the popups.
From your previous post it appears you want to use them with
templates, they
just won't work.

Can't save order of tracks in playlist when editing

my itouch seems to let me edit the order of tracks by holding and dragging the column on the right. However when I press "done" it reverts to the original order!

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Can't save songs to playlist

I can't save songs to a playlist? Why? Every time i drag the song to my playlist it "acts" normal, but it's not saved. I have had this problem since i got spotify premium and it sucks to pay for something that doesn't work :/ If im loggin out of my account = it's possible to save one song, then it's messed up again and I have to continue to log out/in. Not okay.

How can i save my Shuffle playlist on new version of itunes?

I got a new laptop and was forced to load up the latest version of itunes, which for me has worked fine. I connected my first gen. shuffle and married it to my new computer. But on my old computer/version of itunes i was able to keep the "shuffle's playlist" on itunes at all times so it was easy to tweak my songs and then whenever i charged my ipod all the songs would update. now it seems i cannot keep the playlist contents of my shuffle on itunes and have to update the shuffle manually while its connected which takes much more time. Where is the setting to change this so i can see the shuffle playlist all the time?

The easiest and most efficient way to copy your music is to follow the steps under the External drive section. Make sure that you have organized the iTunes library first before you copy it over. Then put the copied iTunes folder in the same Music folder on your computer.

The shuffle setting in the main menu will shuffle through the entire library as you have found out.
You need to go to settings>shuffle this will toggle through off/song/album. Once you have set this it will stay the same until you change the setting.
Now when you start playing a song in a playlist the iPod will shuffle through that playlist (or if you select your song through artist then it will shuffle through all the songs for that artist etc)

I can't save to disc OR backup my iTunes Library! iTunes support instructions are to simply select 'File', then 'Library', then select 'Back Up to Disc', but when I try to the only options that appear are 'Organize Library...', 'Export Library...' then below those are 'Import Playlist...' and 'Export Playlist...' You used to be able to create a playlist, shuffle it, then synch it to your ipod. This was done easily with a shuffle button in the library. In 11 that button is no longer there. How can you do this now?

In Playlists, click on the "start playing in shuffle mode" icon (that I've ringed). And...
In this next shot (the space you need to watch), you can see the Shuffle icon (ringed in larey lime) is blue, so it's "on", and I've also clicked on the "show me what's coming up next" icon (ringed in red). Study the list of upcoming songs. It's the Playlist we're in, but shuffled:

I can't drag and drop files to playlist or to Shuffle.

I have iTunes 10.5, and I can't drag and drop files to playlists or to my shuffle. For playlists, I have to right click and "add to playlist" and for shuffle, I have to copy song and paste it into shuffle. Is anyone else having this problem? How can I fix it?

A lot of people are having this problem. Most commonly, they are using a Wacom tablet, and sometimes updating its driver helps. I don't have a Wacom, but still have the "can't drag" problem. Here are the workarounds I have found in the forums so far...
1. "gusto drag" -- slide the pointer across a song and click.
2. clicking with both left and right mouse buttons.
3. selecting items and do a "create playlist from selected". Then select the iPod and autofill from that playlist.

Can GoodReader download html content and save?

The question is vague, but what I mean is the following: If I download an html link in GoodReader, I can click on the link and then it loads the page.
But to avoid downloading a number of times, is there a way to save the content in a pdf so the content is stored on the iPad?
This would be like printing to pdf on a mac, so the document resides in pdf on your system.

Thanks. This helped. Though apparently it just downloads and stores the text, not the icons of pictures, which appear off line as question marks. The reason I didn't notice this is that the thing I tried had the desired text inside the graphic, so nothing appeared off line.
By the way, some sources (e.g. the New York Times) have a "Print" version, which just shows the text without all the graphics, but when yu try to download these, it loads the original article.
Something like "Print to pdf" with the pdf loaded onto the iPad still would be nice.
