I don't believe so, but you could certainly use Dropbox for the same purpose.

  • Can't Save Word documents

Suddenly I can't save Word documents or even exit Word without using force quit. How can I correct this

Then you have an iMac Intel, not a PPC.    Now, since you haven't installed a security update, and you are sure you haven't the only reason the documents may not save is that the installation was not good.   Be sure first your data is backed up.  Try to run the installer for Office inside the Installer folder, and to be doubly certain, download the latest Office v.X patch.  If it still doesn't work, you may want to try an Office alternative such as NeoOffice, OpenOffice, Google Docs, or Zoho Writer.

  • Mavericks: How can you deactivate scrolling like you could with Mountain Lion? I mean shut off, nothing else.

Mavericks, mouse: How can you deactivate scrolling like you could with Mountain Lion? I mean shut off, nothing else, and I need it for photoshop. PS: Apple people: Mavericks is not satisfying - why turn good things bad? Urs Keller, Switzerland

Open System Preferences then type scrolling in the search field top right corner of that window.
There may be more than one way to do this for you.

can I store word documents/files on iCloud?

Open a word doc in mac's Pages app and then save to icloud.  Check this link:

You might also look at using Dropbox instead of icloud.

  • DIS installed but can't save Word document in CS

I installed the CIS but can't save Word/Excel/PPT 2003 files using save as. What I do wrong and/or what I missed? There's no info on CIS Install/User Guides.
Using Windows Explorer, everything Works fine.
    Some info:
    UCM: 10.1.3.5.0 (090707) (Build:7.2.4.11)
    DesktopIntegrationSuite 2009_07_02 (8.2.0.959)
    CoreWebdav 2009_06_17 (build 30) br-10g-10.1.3.5-release
    Thanks!

    What did you install?
DIS or CIS - you mention both.
CIS is something quite different that provides an API that exposes the UCM services within J2EE applications.
What you need to install are the Windows client components of DIS. If you do this there is (if I remember rightly) an option in the install wizard about which desktop applications you would like DIS to integrate with (word excel...).
    So either
1.Install DIS (if you have not done so yet)
2.Update your DIS install (just run the installer again or go Settings > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > Change or Remove programs andtick the box for word integration

  • Can I run Final Cut Pro 7 with Mountain Lion?

I just bought a new Mac mini equipped with Mountain Lion, and discovered that it won't run Final Cut Express, so I wonder if FCP-7 works. I know it well, and am not eager to learn a whole new system with FCP-X.

The answer is generally yes, but here is a thread that dives deep into ithe question and which you might want to read.
    Good luck.

  • I can not save any documents on iCloud

I just upgraded my icloud storage and I would like to save my word documents and excel documents on there.  When I attempt to save the document it does not gove me an icloud option when I click on file, then save.  I tried going into the system preferences and seeing if I have to turn something on and I could not find any settings.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try opening Text Ediit or Preview then File > Open, you may be able to add them there. Word and Excel don't support iCloud.

  • How can i save word documents to pages? I have an illegal copy of word but want to upgrade my software so I can utilize i cloud.  I'm a writer and need to preserve my word documents.

I have an illegal copy of word and I want to upgrade my software so I can utilize i cloud.  How can I save my word documents to pages
so that they are not lost in this upgrade?  I do not have the disk to reinstall word after the upgrade.

You might want to post your question in the Pages forum. https://discussions.apple.com/community/iwork/pages
Also if it's the Office 2004 version of Word it won't work in Lion since it's a Power PC program. Office 2008 will work in Lion if it's already installed when you upgrade. But it won't install on Lion because the installer program uses Power PC code. Office 2011 is the only one that will install and work on Lion.

  • Can't save Word documents after OS update

I downloaded the most recent OS update today (2-2-12) and now I can't save any MS Word or Excel files. I also lose the ability to close these programs when I try to save, requiring a force quit of the program.

    Hi Wandering and Littleredgto,
I am experiencing exactly the same problems, and I am also still on OS 10.6.8. In my case the problem occurred after the latest security update from 2/1/12.  I did not do a remote client update.

  • Can I turn off features in iCloud in mountain lion?

After upgrading to Mountain Lion and signing into iCloud with my Apple ID and password - can I then turn OFF features/programs such as Mail or Contacts in iCloud on my computer  and keep ON the programs I wish to sync with iClound and my other computers (as I could with Lion or on my PC) ?

    In the System/iCloud preference pane:
NOTE: the screenshot is from Lion but would be surprised if ML didn't have the same preference pane.

  • Can I use my Airport Extreme router with Mountain Lion?

I purchase my Airport Extreme about 2-3 years ago. My Internet service- Verizon, provides the modem. When I inserted the installation disc that came with the router I got an error message on my laptop saying that the systems were incompatible with one another.
I looked ror an airport update to resolve this but found nothing.
    Can anyone offer some advice?
Not being much of a Techie, I'm a bit afraid of just charging in and taking my chances.
    Thanks for the help.

Mountain Lion has already installed the latest version of AirPort Utility for you.
Look in Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility.
You can trash the old installation CD as it no longer useable.

  • ICloud with Mountain Lion?

I have just upgraded to Mountain Lion on my iMac and am trying to sync my Numbers spreadsheets with my iPad and my iPhone.
Changes made to a spreadsheet on my iPhone will update on my iPad but not on my iMac; changes made to a spreadsheet on my iPad will update on my iPhone but not on my iMac.
When I open Numbers on my iMac I see two ovals at the top left of the screen - one says "iCloud" and the other says "On My Mac".  However, when I make changes to a spreadsheet on the iCloud screen, that spreadsheet does NOT update on my iPad or on my iPhone.
Shouldn't changes made on my iMac/iCloud screen automatically update on my iPad and iPhone? And shouldn't shouldn't changes made on my iPad or iPhone automatically update to the "Numbers/iCloud" screen on my iMac?
    Appreciate any thoughts/suggestions.
    Many thanks,
    Mark
