Can I send a group email from my iPod?
Occasionally I need to send email to my Sunday School class. It is easy to compose a group email from my computer, but the group names don't show up in my email address list on the iPod. I can select the group name and manually select each individual, but that is quite time consuming on a list of 40 people.
Is there a way to select the entire group on the iPod Touch?
You need an app to do that. There are a number of them, such as Speed Names.

How can I send pictures or email from my desktop to a cell phone?
I use Gmail for my emails.By sharing playlists you mean sending the list of song titles along with the songs themselves you can't. That would violate Apple's contracts with the studios regarding sharing music, videos, books, etc. Which is strictly forbidden. With the single exception that I am aware of which is Home Sharing.
If you just want to share the list of song titles you could take a screen shot and email that. Hold down the home button and press and release the power button. The image is then stored in your camera roll. -

Can I send a delayed email from an iPad? if so, how?
How can I send a delayed email from my iPad?
The only way would be to draft the E-mail and then close the iPad. A draft would be created that would, I think, be sent the next time you turn the iPad on.
There is no "time delay" function.

How can I send a group email to ensure privicy for recipients?
I am trying to send a group email to all my address contacts that does not show any other of the group contact information on the email. Can anyone tell me how to do this effectivly. I receive loads of emails each day from corporate groups that do this to me so I see who else they sent the mail to but I don't know hoe to do it to my contacts. Help please....
There is a potential security flaw in the BCC feature.
According to the conventions of the SMTP protocol, all addresses, including BCC addresses, are included in every email as it is sent over the Internet. The BCC addresses are stripped off blind copy email only at the destination email server. Therefore, if the addressee controls their email server or can access it, they could examine the BCC addresses on every email they receive.
Very occasionally, an email server will be misconfigured and not strip off the BCC list on email it sends to its local users, revealing the complete blind copy address field to users that receive the email at that domain. Therefore, BCC is very good but not perfect at keeping addresses confidential, and should not be relied on for the most critical and sensitive of communications. -
Can't send or receive email from one account
Just bought the iPod Touch last week. Set up Hotmail account with no problems. However my MacDialup.com account (used to be dial up, but is DSL now) won't work at all. They aren't set up to use SSL, so I turned that off after the iPod automatically tried it. I tried IMAP and POP, tried changing incoming server port number from defalt 143 to 110, triple checked spelling on every single entry including password. Tried calling my ISP tech support and talked to a tech who owns an iPhone and lives in the bay area, but he couldn't figure it out. I tried deleting the MacDialup account then syncing the Touch to my iTunes on my MacBook Pro (which has no problem sending or receiving email from this same account) and had the email settings imported from the MacBook Pro - still no luck. Tomorrow I'll try bringing both my MacBook Pro and iPod Touch into the Genious Bar. Maybe they can figure it out.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I can't send or receive emails from my Ipad. Support didn't fix it
I can't send or receive emails. I tried to turn it off and on. I also tried to open all the servers and nothing worked. Please help. This is the older Ipad and I don't want to purchase anything if I don't have to.
I don't fully understand what the System Reset does but I've found that it cures many ills. It's easy, quick and harmless:
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.
A System Reset does not remove any apps, music, movies, etc. nor does it cause any settings to revert back to default.
Also, you might wish to download the iPad-2 User Guide. Pay special attention to page 162. Note that this Guide also applies to the iPad-1 with IOS 4.3 except for those functions that are not supported by the hardware.
http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad
Finally, the User Guide can be downloaded at no charge via iBooks and a less comprehensive version of the Guide is included as a Safari bookmark. -
How can I Send song by email from ipad ?
I mean from songs already existed in my Music.
You can't. You can Gift a song in iTunes if you pay for it, but you can't send an existing song via email. If you could, people would be sharing purchased music all the time.

Sending out group email from iPad iPhone
I have groups in contacts but cannot send 1 email to all as a group on iPad iphone
ThanksWork Around:
On your mac:
1. Open a new email
2. Insert name of an existing group into one of the "To" fields as usual.
3. Highlight all the resulting names in the "To" entry
[Highlight first name, and while holding shift, highlight last name and all will highlight[]
4. Copy (Command C) the highlighted emails
5. Paste (Command V) nto a pages document
6. Remove the name and anything else preceeding the first < and also the first < of only the first entry whixh will look like this:
[email protected]>,
7. Remove the > of the last email which will look like this:
, Jane Doe <[email protected]
8. Copy the entire altered list from the pages document
9, Go to Contact Book and click + to add a new entry
10.. Name the entry (XXX Group for iPad) or whatever you wish to call it
11. Paste all the copied altered list into any one of the email entry spaces
12. Click on "Done"
13. Create new email On iPad and click on + in any one of the "To" lines and search for "XXX Group for iPad" You cannot just key in XXX Group for iPad!!!!!!!, you must use + contact search.
14. Enter the selected iPad contact group into the "To" line.
15. All the entries will now appear in the "To" line and you are good to go.
Adding or deleting email addresses from the iPad group:
Easiest: Alter the original mac group in the usual way and repeat steps 1-14 above. It seems impossible to edit within the emai line of the iPad contact entry.
Rediculously simple once figured out.
Happy emailling, but please send Bcc so that you don't spread your groups' email addresses all over the internet for spam, viruses, and other unwanted emails. Be considerate and ask your recipients to notifiy you if they wish to be deleted from the lists you compose. -
Can Sales send Eloqua template emails from within SalesForce?
Is there an out of the box solution for sales people to send a marketing template email from within SalesForce?
Can Sales select multiple contacts and send them the Eloqua email from within SalesForce?
Thanks
JuanHave you tried using a mailto link on the form. We have found that this is accomplishes a lot of what F9 did in SOP. What you don't get is multiple templates, as the template is defined when you create the web link.

I have not used this Touch iPod for quite some time and thought I would use it for collecting email when I am out. I have wasted a lot of time trying to get this to work and now wonder if the 2nd generation is too old to send and receive email.
I am using imap on all my other devices. I use a Google domain email address. The only divice I have that will not sync is this older generation iTouch. The version without the camera. Model PB528LL. I know my email address is correct and the password works everywhere else.
