Put an appointment on your calendar and set it with audible alarm.
THere are also apps, I have one called Alarmed, and you can set an alarm, for example to wake you up. Not sure how it works if you've closed the app though.

I Don't know if you can or not.
but you could try one if these 2 things:
-under a new contact in name type the names of the people. Next, I'm not sure if this will work, but for phone just put a different hone down.
-Also tou could just make a group message. In messages just type all the names in the to field after you tap compose.

I would like to leave them there while adding notes to the email through the To-Do functionality. Once completed, I will move them to a folder "On My Mac" so that I have a history of them. I think I need to do it this way because I want to be able to see the emails and the To-Dos on my iPhone...and if I move them to "On My Mac" while they are still active, I won't be able to view them.
Question 1: Am I approaching solving this problem the best way?
Question 2: Assuming the answer is yes...how do I do it?

Hi JAM, I'm not sure I can offer a solution, but . . . . .
Apple literature refers to both 'Mailboxes & Folders, so you could consider the terms interchangeable. Having said that, when you look at the left column of 'Mail' the item named MAILBOXES contains all the mailboxes with basic functions.
The items immediately below the inboxes, -Drafts, Sent, Trash & Junk - all contain sub-folders for messages relating to any given account. If you can't see those sub-folders, it's because you haven't used them yet. They will appear when needed. The same applies to 'Reminders'
The items below, that are named after your email accounts, contain all the folders you create for that account. These folders reside on the web. They're 'IMAP business' and I personally find it useful to have them as separate entities as I can more clearly see where I'm putting things. For our purposes, consider them as living permanently on the web - though I know you don't use web mail.
Now, if you create a new mailbox/folder for filing purposes, and if you choose the location 'On My Mac', you will create a mailbox/folder in ON MY MAC at left. This folder resides on your computer ONLY. You can add folders and nested folders here as you please. As long as you're backing up your Mac frequently, you'll be backing up these folders. When a backup occurs, it's not guaranteed to back up the mail which is still living on a mail server.
The items MAILBOXES, REMINDERS, RSS, ACCOUNT NAME, ON MY MAC & SMART MAILBOXES (if you have any) can be dragged up or down to reposition them.
As for rules, if you're out and about, you may have to set these up at your web mail site in order to filter messages before they arrive on your phone. If you do this, you should find that those rules have been applied, the next time you look into 'ACCOUNT NAME' on your Mac.
Lastly, the only way to get to your created mailboxes/folders on your phone is, as you've found, by navigating to the email account itself. If you don't see all the mailboxes/folders you've created, QUIT the mail app on your phone and relaunch it. They should then appear.
I hope this may be of some further use.
Oh, and by the way, if you want to use 'Notes & To Do's' much, you may find it useful to go to 'Mail > Preferences' on your mac, click the 'Composing' tab and select where to create notes & to do's.

Sorry, I did not mean to imply that security was non-existant or horrible, just it is online, so no absolutes.
iCloud is really not useful, IMO, for collaborating as only you or your AppleID enabled devices can access the files.
I have multiple online storage accounts with the common free services, but my most used is www.box.net. Many document apps will readily support it, and even if one does not, you can use the box.net app itself to access files, then open them in the app usually. And you can share your online folders, with reasonable controls on access to keep control of who can see (and upload or download) what.
A lot of people I know use dropbox as well, but they are usually using paid accounts (often their company sets one up for them to use to exchange files with clients) and I don't know how much better is the security on a paid dropbox account versus a free one. I suspect the free ones are on a par with box.net.
You could also use add security by using some sort of PGP or other encryption tools to encrypt files put up on the shared folder(s). You'd exchange public keys with your colleagues so they could decrypt those files once they download them. That may be overkill for many peoples needs though.
Another option, if you have an online hosting account, is to get one that offers SFTP access and use that for sharing files (the downside of that is having to distribute the password to colleagues, so you could loose control of it if one of them is careless or thoughtless with it). It seems more and more document-type apps for iOS are supporting generic FTP and SFTP as well as the popular free online storage solutions.

Not a single account, no, at least not easily. It would be better to set up individual iTunes Store accounts, one in each country. Your computer and devices can quite happily deal with two accounts, and then you can just log into the appropriate account when you're in the applicable country. You'll need a second email address to able to create a new Apple ID.

I can't set up wifi on my new ipad. It won't connect to the network. Wifi is working on other devices in the house.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

You need to use the right arrow on the remote to go all the way to the right. The submit button will be highlighted and you can then press select on the remote to proceed.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

Thank you for the help. Every app on my phone was downloaded using my old I-tunes ID. I just hope that they will re-download under my new ID because I still can't change it on my phone. In order to change to the new ID it says I have to sign out from the old ID and change to the new one. My problem is that I don't remember my password to be able to sign out from my old ID. Then the phone says it can change my password through e-mail and I agree but I never get an e-mail at my old address or the new one.
