Can I Set Export Defaults?

Is it possbile to tel FCP to always use certain settings when I use the Export Using QuickTime Conversion? When I transfer my flat movie over to the station that has the Beta deck, I export with None compression, 48 kHz and streaming Off.
Lets say I see a mistake, fix it and go back to export. Everything is back to H.264, 44 kHz audio and streaming On. Not a big deal, just VERY annoying.

Funny you should mention it. I just logged on to ask the exact same question.
I have to export 36 Cinema Commercials in a row.
I export using MPEG 2, One pass VBR with the Bitrates both set to highest. While FCP remembers my last used MPEG2 settings it does become a bit tedious to always change to MPEG2.
Is there anyway, as Alex said to change the default export setting in Quicktime Conversion?

1. How can I set a default file name for JFileChooser, to save a completly new file?
2. I have a JTextArea that I append recieved messages. But when a message is appended, the whole desktop screen refreshes. How can I prevent that?

Ive tried saving as optimised but it doesnt always work.
I cant seem to find anything in the settings to change it....

Try saving your settings as a Preset by clicking the Preset drop down and then select Save Current Settings as a Preset.
Next try changing the settings by selecting the saved preset.
That allow saving the settings for a specific printer, I assume it may also allow selecting these settings for another printer.

I have two GMail accounts set up on my iphone with Exchange/GoogleSync that includes the synchronisation of contacts.
One is my main gmail account which holds the bulk of my contacts (and calendar) and the second is for a social group that I help run.
Is it possible for me to set the main gmail account as the default location for any new contacts I add into my phone? I tend to view contacts in 'All Contacts' mode and I've noticed that if I then add a new contact it might sync with either one of the accounts.
