Can I set in my Satellite C660-1M4 minimal memory for Intel Hd Graphics?

There in no option in BIOS v 1.9. I just need it for simple game, but there are some problems with the integrated graphic card with dynamic memory. If there would be an option to set minimal memory use for Intel HD G propably the game would run.

You cannot assign or change the shared memory value.
This is controlled by display driver and if an applications needs more graphic memory, the driver would assign and share the memory automatically.

Hi... I purchased my laptop about a month ago from Argos and it has a 2 year warranty. I have one big problem - the 2 main graphics editing programmes that I use do not work. Both Corel Paintshop Photo Pro x3 and Adobe CS5 can both be installed and opened but as soon as I try to save a photo or edit a photo both of the programmes crash and i have to close it down by using end task in task manager.
This happened when I installed the full versions of both programmes which I purchased and it also happens when you download the trial versions from both the Corel and the Adobe download sites. I have been on so many help forums for both adobe and corel and the most helpful pointer came from one of the designers at Adobe - a Chris Cox.
He very logically stated that as it happened in both of these 2 graphics editing packages that it was most likely a problem with the graphics card drivers or the actual graphics card hardware. I purchased a 64-bit operating system to handle precisely these 2 programmes which can be exhausting on the system. I know i only have 2 GB RAM at the moment but it has been happening with other people...some who even have 8GB and 16GB of RAM which is what I will have in the next few weeks. However, not if I cannot rectify this problem. Please can you help/advise the best solution. This seems to be a problem only with the 64-bit systems. Both Adobe and Corel are 64-bit compatible.
There is also a message that appears when I open Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended....which is as follows:
...."Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements, Check the video card manufacturers website for the latest software."
I then click that message away ....use the programme, edit something, try to save and it crashes. I have gone through all troubleshooting directions and ran countless diagnostics but there only seems to be one common denominator between the 2 different programmes and that is my Toshiba laptop.... I even tried installing another large photo editing software package to test it and I had the same result - an application crash.

What to say my friend? In my opinion the best advice you can get from Corel and Adobe. They have best experience with own product and have probably tested them on different hardware platforms.
Notebook manufacturers offer different notebook models with different hardware configurations. Some of them are cheap and offered with average hardware. The performance is not the best but good enough for every day activities like internet, office, mailing and so on.
On other hand there are notebooks with excellent and powerful hardware. Very often such notebooks cost twice as much as cheap low budget products.
Please dont understand me wrong but your C notebook is not the best one for usage with such powerful software.
I really dont know what Toshiba can do about it. I can imagine that you need other graphic driver but graphic driver support for mobile computers is pretty limited and I dont think you can do much about that.
What you can try is to download and install driver from graphic card manufacturer but you must do this on your own risk.
Sorry friend but I dont have any other advice for you. I just think youve bought wrong notebook for such complex graphic operations. 2 GB RAM? I dont know.

Can I set it to have no bullet/blue icon for first line on Outline view?

Goodgrief... After finally figuring out (kind-of) how to place my bullet points with hotkeys, 6 hours later I have iWork 09 with a great outline view! HA!
Outline will be great if it is customizable. I need the first line to be set at a "normal" margin, and then from there on the tab is increased indents and bullets.
How can I set it so that when I "shift-tab" enough it returns to the left margin and remains, with procedeing "enter" clicks, and the outline/bullets begin with the FIRST TAB indent?

Hi, we're mixing two different ideas I had. The first idea was to hide certain columns automatically in the same table when I entered print view. The second idea was to create a second table on a separate sheet that automatically replicated the values in the columns from the first table, I just wouldn't make columns for the things I wanted to hide.
Problem was, with the second idea, I only want to use as many rows as is needed for each quote. I'd like to start each table with just one row, and each time I add a row in the first table, I'd like the second table to automatically add a row.
This isn't really a crisis (I could just make the second table with 100 rows and delete the unused ones), but my technically-challenged boss is using it, and it would be nice if it worked exactly the way our FileMaker system works.

I am supposed to have microsoft office 10 installed on Satellie C660 but keeps asking for number which my serial number doesn't work, used 3months free trial now can't find the original software.

The preinstalled Office version is just a trial version as you wrote. If you want to use Office after this trial version you have to purchase it.
The key on bottom side of your notebook belongs to preinstalled Windows version and has nothing to do with Office.
You have to purchase it ;)

How can I set the default home page in Firefox 4 for all users that login to a PC on a Win 7 PC?

I work at a community college in upstate NY.
We use Firefox as the default browser at our institution and we have always set the default homepage to be our homepage for all users that login to the PC. We had a procedure to to that that worked with Windows XP and FF 3 or earlier
We would do the following:
1. go to: c:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\FireFox\Profiles\<profile_name>\prefs.js
2. Add the line: user_pref (“browser.startup.homepage”,”http://www.genesee.edu”);
3. Copy the Folder
C:\Documents & Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla
To
C:\Documents & Settings\Default User\Application Data\Mozilla
4. Restart the computer
We're going to Win 7 and Firefox 4 and things seem to be different in terms of files and file structure. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Can you set a Cost Rate Table to be used for an entire project

In earlier versions of project, the default cost rate table (A) is used unless changed by the user for each assignment. In 2010, is it possible to define which cost rate table to use for the entire project, not at the assignment level?

I really like the feature but I don't like the fact that organiser should pay for everyone's purchases? Can it be set up to keep payments separate and just share the content?

It's not a question of having an out of control family. Our kids work for their pocket money - which they can choose to spend on iTunes if they like. They have had their own accounts for some time now, linked to their own bank accounts - and they buy their own things with the money that they have earned. As an extra, if they are given an iTunes voucher for a birthday present or something, they load it onto their own account, but this is by no means the only way that they buy things.
Doesn't feel out of control to me.
Now it's suggested that we need to pay for everything they want, rather than them? Not for me thanks. But it's a shame that by choosing to keep this set up, we are losing the ability to share purchases, in the same way that we would when buying a hard copy CD, book or magazine.
Surely most families have a similar set up once the children are old enough to have their own bank accounts? Or am I so very very old fashioned?

Can't set up static IP with systemd: "Dependency failed for"

I bootstrapped Arch Linux into a free partition from an Ubuntu Server installation. It boots fine, but I can't seem to get the network working.
My router is weird in that the last number of the IP address has to be over 200 (so 192.168.1.[must be over 200]), so dhcpcd won't really work for me and I need to set up a static IP.
To do this, I decided to edit the systemd static IP template from this wiki page (leaving "Wireless" in the name but removing the actual wireless line, as I'm using a wired connection): <https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … IP_address>

However, when I run "systemctl start newnetwork [what I named the service]", I still can't ping either IP addresses or domain names. When I run "systemctl status newnetwork", I get "Dependency failed for Wireless Static IP Connectivity" and it says that the service is not running.
I have all of base and base-devel installed, so what could be the problem? It seems like the only other people who have encountered that systemd error message have had significantly different problems.

You can actually use dhcpcd to assign a static address too with the "-S" option.
My first guess for your error would be that the interface is not "eth0" (though the error message seems odd for that, yes).
Whats the output when you bring the connection up manually (description right above the wiki .service file you link)?

How can I set up SSL login authentication on one domain for multiple domains

We want to use SSL on our login pages but realise that the
cost of certification for every domain is expensive. One solution
would be to channel all login activity to a single domain, eg:

Has this wonderful feature been removed from this software. Right now if someone asks me to edit starting at a specific position I cannot do it. Unfortunately, although iMovie 10 added some great new features and brought a more intuitive user interface, some legacy features were discontinues. Chapter markers are an example. While you cannot add 'chapter' markers, you can still add traditional markers by using the Mark item in the menu bar and then clicking add marker. These will not add chapters, however, and will only allow you to quickly find a spot later in iMovie.
Sorry about that, but if you recently updated iMovie to version 10 from an older version, it is possible that the older version is still on your Mac. You can search for it using Spotlight, the search icon in the menu bar.

Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings>FaceTime
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
