Can I set iWeb to automatically use my font/style/size?

Is there a way to get iWeb to automatically set the font, style and size that I want to use in my iWebpage? I want to use Optima. I went to the iWeb preferences menu but it does not mention fonts.
Last night I had to first delete all the examples in the iWebpage templates and then, thru the Fonts window, I had to click onto Optima, and then Regular, and then the size. I kept thinking about how lovely it would be if I were able to set some preferences from a different source and have the program automatically do overwrites in Optima.

iWeb doesn't remember your default choice like that
unfortunately. Are you finding that you use the same
template pages though? If so, you can just
preconfigure one with your choice of fonts and text
sizes. Then just keep it blank and use it as your
"template" by 1) removing it from being displayed in
the navigation menu and 2) by duplicating the page
(select it in the organizer and right-click or
control-click to select "duplicate").
It's probably easier to just make the changes when
you want.
James, thanks, and hi. I will end up using the Photo Album and the Welcome templates the most. The Welcome templates I will use as top level theme hyperlinks to all of the examples of said theme.

No, you can only connect to one Home Sharing account at a time. If you want to see the content of the other Mac's library you will have to turn off Home Sharing on the Apple TV and log back in with the other iTunes account.

Can I set columns to automatically hide in Print View?

I'm making a reusable invoice / quote system for my sales division. I would save this as a template, and it needs to be idiot-proof.
My boss wants this to work the way our Filemaker Pro quote system works. In that system, we have a table where each row has the following: a description of the item being sold, the quantity being sold, our cost, a percentage that we want to mark up, the customer's price (cost*percentage), and extended price (customer price*quantity).
That's how I want the table to look to us, but when we enter print view, can I set it so two columns (our cost, percentage markup) are hidden automatically? We're not allowed to divulge our cost to customers, and I'd prefer it if those two columns disappeared automatically when we entered print view - my boss is a seriously technically-challenged individual, and if I told him he'd have to manually hide columns before printing (no matter how easy), I'm sure he'd balk at that.
The other idea I had is a separate sheet; we would work on the first sheet with the full table, and I'd have a second sheet in print view that had the abridged table. I'd have functions that just replicated the values in certain cells from the first table. This works great, but when I add a row to the first table, the second table doesn't add a row.
Does anyone know how to make either of these ideas work? Or does anybody have a better idea on how to do this?

Hi, we're mixing two different ideas I had. The first idea was to hide certain columns automatically in the same table when I entered print view. The second idea was to create a second table on a separate sheet that automatically replicated the values in the columns from the first table, I just wouldn't make columns for the things I wanted to hide.
Problem was, with the second idea, I only want to use as many rows as is needed for each quote. I'd like to start each table with just one row, and each time I add a row in the first table, I'd like the second table to automatically add a row.
This isn't really a crisis (I could just make the second table with 100 rows and delete the unused ones), but my technically-challenged boss is using it, and it would be nice if it worked exactly the way our FileMaker system works.

I am having trouble setting up my environment to use a font - like cyberbit. Specifically, I would like to be able to display Chinese/Japanese unicode data on my appliation - all I can view are boxes. I have installed the cyberbit font under ../jre/lib/fonts and have modified the file fontconfig.properties.src (dialog.x=Bitstream Cyberbit,DEFAULT_CHARSET and filename.Bitstream_Cyberbit=Cyberbit.ttf) and saved it as fontconfig.properties.

Unfortunately hotmail requires you to pay a fee to have your e-mail go through a mail application, like Apple Mail. Contact their customer service to see about fees, as well as set up process.

Extra spaces added (that I can't get rid of) when using STHeiti font. Anything I can do?

When I use the font that I want to use (STHeiti), extra spaces get added automatically—spaces that, by the way, I can’t ‘delete’—after every apostrophe (or single quotation mark). See screen grabs below:

Do you know how I can make these spaces go away? When I do a search on the internet (InDesign STHeiti), I see that others have had other types of problems with this font… having to do with exporting a finished project to pdf and getting it printed.
In the context of talking about it, one person says that the STHeiti font "is installed as part of the Apple operating system, and is probably only meant for onscreen display".
But someone else adds: "the font is installed, by default, on all macs running 10.4 and above (possibly further back than that, but lets go with what we know), so opening the file at the printers on such a mac will have the font available”
I'm on my Mac, though (not yet ready for the printer), so why do I have a problem using this font?
I know I could use another font, but this STHeiti is a really nice one!

Wow... that works beautifully.
I've done it, but before proceeding too much further I'll google and try to find out more about this "Use Typographer's Quotes" setting. Don't want it to bite me down the road.

I have v2 of iWeb. I use standard fonts yet some PCs see a very problematic website after publishing. Will v3 resolve some of these issues ?

I have seen other blogs where it says optimisation is required. Not sure about this. How do other published sites get over this problem ? Other sites are far from simple or is it that we are saying iWeb needs to be beefed up ? As I ask - is v3 any better in this respect ?

I wouldn't have thought that upgrading to V 3 is going to make much difference. There are a few things you can do in iWeb to help the situation but, at the end of the day, it all depends on the browser that is used to view the site and how it is setup.
