Can I set my notifications tray to be my lock screen?

Is it possible in iOS 5 to set your notifications tray to show up on the lock screen? Not just when you have missed notifications, but the calendar list, weather, stocks etc?

You have mentioned in a number of your posts that this device is primaily (only?) designed as a backup disk for Time Machine. Are you saying that there is no way to use it for both purposes i.e. there is no way to tell Time Machine to only use a certain abount of storage for backups and/or partition the disk into multiple pieces and use one partition for backup and one for drive sharing?
Also, where do I find out how to use iCloud Back to My Mac?
I am not saying there is no way.. I think I made it clear to JCM 1962.. it is a network drive.. there is nothing stopping you storing files on it. It does have both SMB and AFP file protocols..
But you cannot partition it.. Apple have blocked all tools that could access the TC drive directly except erase. The whole design of Time Machine is to use the whole drive. So you can use disk images.. far inferior to proper partitions.. or you can pull the drive out .. voiding warranty and partition it manually.. trickier than it looks let me assure you as I have done it on a few TC and it kicks up errors.

The killer though is TM cannot backup network drives.. and TC cannot back itself up.. so any files you put on the TC are potentially at risk unless you take care to manually back it up. The whole idea of TM is get around the fact of manual backups because people forget.
To use iCloud and BTMM then the TC has to be the main router in the network.. the vast majority of users have the TC in bridge.

You need the first Internet connection in order to share another connection with the other devices. If you use the Mac and Internet Sharing, then the connection is only going to be as fast as that connection and maybe a little slower since you are all sharing that connection.
You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear as the saying goes, you cannot speed up the connection by any magical means.
You should be able to use the personal hotspot feature on the phone if the carriers there support it.

How can I set up an external monitor to extend my screen in windows 7 bootcamp? I have updated bootcamp to the latest version. The monitor I have works while I am using Mac OS X. While in bootcamp the monitor is dectected and I am able to select the settings and displays however the external monitor remains alseep. I hooked it up using a mini display port to VGA adapter. Any suggestions?

On your Windows desktop right click and select Screen resolution from the menu. You should see a window like this:
Make sure you select Extend and then set your resolutions for each monitor.
If this does not work for you try asking on a Windows forum about extending displays to a second monitor.

Connect the iPod to irs syncing computer and restore via iTunes/ Place the iPod in Recovery mode if necessary to allow the restore.

IOS7 Notifications not showing in the lock screen

During the day, my notifications in the lock screen show up without a problem. The problem is that for long periods of time, notifications do not show up in the lock screen. When I wake up in the morning to check the lockscreen, notifications do no show up at all. I can acess them in the control center, but they still won't show up in the lock screen.
I have selected my notifications to show up as banners and to show up in the lock screen. I do not have do not disturb activated.
Has anyone had a similar problem? I currently have iOS 7.0.3

Show on lockscreen is checked on the notification for the app i want it to show
Some apps show, some apps only show when i drop down the Notification Center in lockscreen
mail, whatsapp, missed calls, show in lockscreen
other than that...they show only in notification center...

It cannot be removed from the locked screen. To open the camera, if you are using iOS 5.1, swipe the camera icon upwards.

I can't open clock, calculator, and camera on the lock screen

it happened since i updated to ios 8.
When i slide up on the lock screen, the control center pops up, but when i want to open these 3 apps, it just can't open and the screen turn black but the the assistive touch button still there.. And when i push the home button, it's like closing apps transition. Ahhhh i don't know how to explain that.
And i still can't open these 3 apps after i updated to 8.1.1.
Please help me...

What do you mean by they are not enabling? Did you have restrictions turned on for these apps? Do they appears as greyed out on your screen? Or did they totally disappear?
Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

So why can't I size a photo to fit the lock screen on the iPhone?
