I have 2 ipods and we want different things (some the same)on these units? I hate doing manual transfers, so I am wondering if I can just have 2 different itunes on my computer? Can anyone help here?

Certainly, just use smart playlists to update each iPod.
Or another method is, log onto Windows with different accounts.

Yes create two users on that computer
One for each account, and then you will have 2 itunes libraries.
Control Panel, user accounts, add new account (give it admin rights).
Log off and then log in with the new account.
Make sure you log out and not switch accounts when moving between the two users.

Try moving the entire iTunes Media folder to the Shared folder on your Mac and then in iTunes preferences, change the location of that folder to line it up. Then all you have to do in another user is follow the second set of steps to get that shared properly. Check out the article below for more detailed instructions.

You can't merge two iTunes accounts.

A much simpler solution would be to go into Settings > Store and turn off Automatic Downloads

When you go to Starbucks, you'll need to first go to Settings on your iPad and choose Network. You'll see ATTWIFI as one of the available networks. 2) has a ringtone icon
Once you have the itunes purchased song in your library and it has the bell icon, then click on the bell icon. Then edit the song to the portion and length of the clip you want to use.
Then select buy( it will cost 99 cents in addition to the original cost of purchasing the song from itunes). It will show up in your ringtones heading in itunes. When you sync, it will be on your iphone.

I suggest setting your wife up with her own login on the PC. There are other ways, but this would be the cleanest, in my opinion.
