Can i set up a third computer that isn't wireless

I currently have 2 wireless laptops set upon my HP Photpsmart eAll in one C360 printer.
Can I connect via usb a non wireless desktop computer to the C360, and not mess up the wireless connection
for the other 2 computers?
Thanks,

  • SP 2013 - Error: This operation can be performed only on a computer that is joined to a server farm

    Hello Community!
    I am working with SharePoint 2013 and I built a farm inside the firewall.  Then a decision was made to move the two WFE's to the DMZ.  Since that time, whenever I try to access the site collections, I get the error below.  Other information: All
    the web applications are on port 80, but I'm not having any problem with accessing Central Administration which is on port 8080; the network team did screw up the DNS originally, but I'm told it's correct now; the two WFE's servers show in my Manage servers
    on the Farm interface 2X, once with the server name, once with the fully Qualified Domain Name, the ones with the FQDN shows a Services Running status of Not Configured.
    Has anyone else ever seen this error and if so please provide guidance and instruction for fixing the error.
    Thanks!
    Tom

    Hi Tom,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you moved your SharePoint.
    This error occurs when the SharePoint farm administrator cannot connect to your configuration database. Please verify the followings:
    Make sure that from the SharePoint front end and application servers that you can ping your SQL server.
    Make sure that your Farm account has permission to the configuration database.
    Lastly verify that your database didn't for some reasons go into recovery mode.
    once everything is fine and you are still having issues, restart the SQL host service on the SQL server. Once the service is restarted you will need to reboot Central Admin and then your front end servers.
    In addition, as you built your farm inside the firewall, please disable the firwall, or create rules for SQL Server service in the firwall on SQL server. More information about creating rules in firewall, please refer to the following posts:

  • Create a SharePoint 2013 Appplication in C#,Error:This operation can be performed only on a computer that is joined to a server farm

    I want to create a sharepoint application in C#:
    SPFarm CurrentFarm = SPFarm.Local;
    SPWebApplicationBuilder webAppBlder = new SPWebApplicationBuilder(CurrentFarm);
    webAppBlder.UseNTLMExclusively = true;
    webAppBlder.AllowAnonymousAccess = false;
    webAppBlder.UseSecureSocketsLayer = false;
    SPWebApplication webApp = webAppBlder.Create();
    webApp.Provision();
    It's create a new application succeed,but when I view the site there is an error:
    This operation can be performed only on a computer that is joined to a server farm by users who have permissions in SQL Server to read from the configuration database. To connect this server to the server farm, use the SharePoint Products Configuration
    Wizard, located on the Start menu in Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Products.
    How can I fix this issue?
    ps:I had create some new application in sharepoint web site.It's all fine without any issue.
    The sharepoint server,sqlserver and the programs in the same machine.
    Besr regards

    Hi,
    I think below line is causing the error -
    SPWebApplicationBuilder webAppBlder = new SPWebApplicationBuilder(CurrentFarm);
    can you put that line within a try catch and see that causes an exception. If so,  you might try as below-
    SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges(delegate()
    webAppBuilder = new SPWebApplicationBuilder(CurrentFarm);
    Hope this helps!

  • SharePoint 2013 - Server Error in '/' Application - This operation can be performed only on a computer that is joined to a server farm by users who have permissions in SQL Server to read from the configuration database

    Hi
    After I ran SharePoint configuration wizard successfully to upgrade to SharePoint 2013 / SP1.
    I can open Central Administration site just fine.
    but now when I open any Site collection,  I got this error.
    Server Error in '/' Application
    This operation can be performed only on a computer that is joined to a server farm by users who have permissions in SQL Server to read from the configuration database. To connect this server to the server farm, use the SharePoint Products Configuration
    Wizard, located on the Start menu in Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Products
    I have restarted all the servers:  SQL server, WFE and APP servers but still cann't get this resolve.
    Services on all servers are running,  IIS - application pools are running.
    Can someone help with where that could be a problem or if there is a solution.
    Thanks in advance for your comments or advices.

  • Can I set up my time machine to back up wirelessly WITHOUT hardwiring it directly to Ethernet?

    Can I set up my time machine to back up wirelessly WITHOUT hardwiring it directly to Ethernet?

    Indeed you can, but I don't recommend it unless you live miles from the closest neighbor with WiFi. Your mileage may vary. I live in a suburban neighborhood with 32 other wireless routers (at last count) visible from my desktop. I've never encountered an error with networked Time Machine backups while using a wired Ethernet connection both from computer to router and router to Network-Attached-Storage hard drive. (USB and FireWire-connected drives also perform flawlessly. Can't speak to Thunderbolt because I don't own a Thunderbolt drive yet.)
    When I attempted to use wireless Ethernet Time Machine backup FROM the same computers (a mid 2007 MacBook OS X 10.6.8, and a mid-2011 iMac OS X 10.8, 10,9, 10.10) TO the same NAS hard drive (a 2GB Lenovo/IomegaEZ), I'd get notices every few weeks that after the backup verification, Time Machine needed to begin a fresh backup. When this happens, it deletes all the old Time Machine backups. So I never had a backup more than a couple of weeks old. With my wired connection, my oldest Time Machine backup is now about a year old, from when I first acquired the NAS drive and attached it with wired Ethernet.

  • Charging your ipod / iphone thru a computer that ISN'T your main computer

    How do I charge my iphone / ipod through a computer that isn't my main computer without dumping my play info for that day onto that computer?
    I recently discovered, upon connecting my device to my main computer, (the one I sync with at home,) that my play info for the day (playcount, last played, etc.) does not get updated. I figured out that it's because I charged my device at work, thru my work computer. All my play info for the day is dumped onto my work computer, even if that computer doesn't even have the songs.
    How do I charge my device thru a computer at work without losing my play info?

    I iTunes on your computer at work, select preferences,
    "Syncing", click the checkbox to "Diable automatic syncing
    for all iPhones and iPods".

  • Is there a setting to change a computer that is 'not trusted' to 'trusted' in ios 7 for iphone?

    I wanted to see what my iphone would do with the new ios7 when I was prompted to 'trust' or 'not trust' a computer that I was connecting.  I selected 'don't trust' but now when I try to plug in again to the same computer it will not even ask me again if I 'trust' or 'don't trust' it, assuming that since I selected don't trust it will forever not trust it.  Shouldn't there be a setting or a prompt that allows this to be changed?  Now I've locked myself out of my computer in which is my primary device to connect with.  Any help?

    (Note: this is for Windows 8, but the solution for other versions is similar - you might need to try a few other folders, but are still looking for "Apple Device" under "Device Manager".)
    Connect your iPad/iPhone/iPod to your PC
    Go to: Control Panel > Device Manager
    Click on: Portable Devices
    Right click on: Apple iPad/iPhone/iPod > Update Driver Software
    Choose: Browse my computer for driver software.
    Go to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
    Click okay and everything should suddenly work fine again.  (I can't remember if I had to choose "trust" again, but if I did, I only had to do it the once and everything was fixed after that).

    Is it possible to access all of my icloud stuff off a computer that is not mine?

    You can access it at http://icloud.com . You wouldn't want to sign into it in System Preferences (on a compliant Mac) as then they would be getting your emails and other data.
