Can I set up TED as a menu option?

My newly purchased Apple TV has a set of menu options, i.e. YouTube, Vimeo, etc, etc. but not TED. Is there a searc feature or another way to add TED as an option?

Can I set Posting key 39 A as optional and 39 F as mandatory?

Previously we set PO number as mandatory when user perform transaction F-47. The posting key is 39 F.
I change the config via OB41, posting key 39 PO is mandatory
Now Account use F-48 to post down payment. The posting key is 29 A.
After that they want knock off by F-44, posting key is 39A.
Then we hit error to key in PO number, but we don't have PO to key in.
May I know, is it possible to set specifically:
posting key 39 special GL indicator A, the purchasing document is optional?
posting key 39 special GL indicator F, the purchasing document is mandatory?

At posting key level you control the field status of the document. Now in your case since the posting key 39/29 or for that matter any sgl posting key would be tagged to quite a few indicators so when you make changes for field status at posting key level it would result in central change for all these indicators.
So what i told you was to check the field status group which is in the alternate g/l account for the relevant special g/l indicator, when you created them. Then in the field status group of this g/l account you can make the choice as suppressed / Display/ Required / Optional as the priority is in that order.

Can't set preferences, and other greyed menu choices

Cannot set preferences for iDVD 06, and most menu choices are greyed.
[Note: this is NOT the case with all other iLife 06 applications where all menu selections are active.]
Looking through this forum I tried deleting the files in the library, as seems to be a frequent solution to everythng. This did NOT work in my case.
This is the only program in iLife06 which has this problem. All the others have active menu selection. I can't even get "About iDVD" to work!

I would start by forcing AppleWorks to create new preference files.
Quit AppleWorks and go to the Finder.
In a finder window, go:
yourname > Library > Preferences
Locate and select the folder AppleWorks and the file com.apple.appleworks.plist
Drag both to the Desktop or to the Trash (but don't empty the Trash).
Relaunch AppleWorks to check for any change.

NOTE: This will return all preferences to their default settings. AppleWorks will construct new copies of the plist, the folder, and the files in the folder as it needs them. If you have made changes to the Button Bar, and have had no issues related to the Button Bar, you can restore those changes (probably without issues arising) by dragging the Button Bar file from the folder you moved into the new one in Preferences when it is created.

While your issue does not appear to be caused by the Recent Items bug referenced in Michael's post (after "Also perhaps..", there's no danger in clearing your Recent Items folder as discussed in the linked User Tip. This is a 'regular maintenance' procedure for me.

Can I set up a data-driven menu box to have a default value?

I'm working on building a little webpage that lets user's
update one column.
So, for this column.. I have setup a drop-down box giving
choices (from a table).
I'd like for the box's "default" selected value to be the one
that is already choosen in the table...
How can I get this to bind?
Example: Each row need to get tagged as "lost", "won", or
"unsure".
I need these three choices to be in the drop-down (easy -
already done).
But if there is already a value of "won" for that column,
then I want the drop-down to say "won" as it's default.
Any ideas?

Once you have a Mail Client(like Thunderbird) installed & configured as your default for Mail in the '''CUSTOM''' section of Set Program Access and Computer Defaults, you can click on a Send To or MailTo link on a webpage and a New Message window will open with your default email account's address (i.e. verizon.net).

How to add custom menu options in myaccounts module?

Hi experts,
To implement this, I have found myaccount.xml file in UI of myaccounts module. In this file, I found only menu headings but not menu options. Can anyone explain where data of menu options were populated from and how can I add my custom menu options? I also have tried to delete the menu heading but there was no effect. Please help!! I'm on WEC 1.0.

the path to the billing module is "sap.com/wec/ecom/mc/billing". But nevertheless
1. you need only to enhance in your current modul the metadata.xml file with the link to your own myaccount.xml which you can create.
2. and then you can define within the new file the menu options you need.
3. the last step is to update your shop configuration with the new menu options.

Cover flow missing as a menu option on ipod classic

Any ideas - no idea why but I can no longer see cover flow as menu option on our ipod classic. I have reset/updated software/ synced against playlist from other ipod which works but still no success.
The album art is on the ipod as I can see it when viewing individual albums!

actually, once you do a workout with the reciever attached, it will show up all the time, so that you can access your data....until it has data to report to you though, it doesn't show up, even when you turn it on in the menus....go for a run and it'll stay on the menu after that....

How can I set 'menu' to return to 2nd menu scene selections?

I have a two page menu. 1. Title page. 2. Scene Selections page. Once we are on the 2nd page, I want the viewer to be able to return to this page when returning from viewing a selection. There is a button on Page 2 to get them back to the main menu if they like.
Is there a way I can set the 1st menu page so that the viewer will return to it by pushing menu.
And likewise, set the 2nd menu page so that the viewer will return to IT by pushing menu.
So each page has a different 'menu' return setting?

You might be able to do this without scripting anything, Ben - the scripts are reasonably simple, but I know you won't want to get into those just yet!
One option is to use stories, and there are different ways to achieve what you want to do. For the sake of example, let's assume you have got ten scenes and at the end of each you want to get back to menu 2...
Create ten stories and add a single chapter into each from your ten available. Set the buttons on menu 2 to point to the corresponding story and then for the story, set the menu call so that you go to Menu 2 and land on the appropriate button. You should set the end jump for each story to also point back to menu 2.
Now, from Menu1 content, point to the track itself and set the menu call for the track to go back to menu 1.
When the viewer accesses the footage from Menu 1 and then uses the Menu button they will go back to menu 1. If they navigate to Menu 2 and access a single scene, that scene will play and go back to Menu 2 when done. If they press menu during the scene, they will also get back to menu 2.
Job done.
Now, if you want to do this in a better way, you only need to create a single story and drop ALL of your chapter markers into it. This will become the main feature where everything plays. Set the end jump and menu calls to go to Menu1. On Menu 1, set the buttons to target the content insode the story container.
To get a single scene to play you add end jumps to the chapter markers in the track (click on the marker, look in the property inspector or in the 'Connections' tab). Set the end jumps to Menu2 and the Menu command to Menu 2 as well. From menu 2 you point your buttons to the specific marker.
This also gets the job done, and neither method needed a script

Exactly what do you mean by set up?
In iTunes you can authorize more than one iTunes accounts using the 'Authorize This Computer…' command under the Store menu. Run the commend twice for each account.

I set the At End menu to Timeout, set the seconds to the same as the time for the song playing in the background to finish, and set the Action to go to the Track where the video is. The song ends but it just remains on the Main menu. The video doesn't start.

How can I set a password on my Mac Mini? Someone else is reading my emails. I would like to be able to lock it so nothing on it could be seen without a password. Is that possible? How?

So uncheck the automatic login after making sure you know your password and it will require a password on startup.
You can also go into the security preferences and have the machine lock itself once the screensaver is activated. This is sometimes controlled from the screensaver preferences as well.
You could also go nuts and activate multiple users where your name appears in the menu bar. When you walk away from the machine you can use that menu to take you to the "login window", effectively locking your machine.
