Can I set-up two podcast feeds and run them through the same itunes account?

I'm trying to set-up an additional podcast feed for iTunes for a different site than my personal podcast feed, but I don't want to have to create a second itunes account. Any suggestions?

You can submit any number of RSS feeds with your current account - there is no limit.

Your iPhone and iPod can share the same iTunes account.  Apps can be freely shared and used by one or both devices.  You can't use money in your iTunes account to pay for your phone, but purchased apps can be used by both the iPod and iPhone.

  • HT4847 Can I have multiple users's family devices backed up to the cloud e.g. 2 iPhones and 2 iPads under the same iTunes account

Just got a second iPad for the home.
Can I have multiple users's family devices backed up to the cloud e.g. 2 iPhones and 2 iPads under the same iTunes account?

Yes, but it's not usually recommended to share an iCloud account within a family.  If you do, any data you sync with iCloud will be merged and you, for example, will end up with each other's contacts and calendars on your devices.  Also, any action taken on one device (such as adding or deleting a contact) will be replicated on the other devices.  You will also all be sharing the same 5GB of free storage for all your data and device backups.
Normally it's best to use separate iCloud accounts for each person's devices.  This will keep your data separated, and allow each person to have their own free 5GB of storage.  You can continue to share the same iTunes ID within the family; the ID you use for iCloud does not need to be the same as the one your use for iTunes purchasing.  (Each person should also use a separate ID on their devices for iMessage and FaceTime to avoid getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls.)

  • I have 3 iphones, an ipod touch and an Ipad on the same itunes account.  should I have a different account for each device?  If so how do I get all my purchases, like music on all the devices?

You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, including separate backups. I'd suggest giving each device a unique name, to make things easier.

  • My mac, ipad and apple tv share the same itunes account.  Why do movies rented from itunes on my ipad or mac not show up in my apple tv?  is there a way to get them there?

My mac, ipad and apple tv share the same itunes account.  Why do movies rented from itunes on my ipad or mac not show up in my apple tv?  is there a way to get them there?

Rentals are one-time only downloads, they will not show on other devices/computers for redownloading.
If you rent a film on your iPad or Apple TV then you can only watch it on that device. If you rent it on your Mac then you can move it from there to your iPhone or your Apple TV (if it's a first gen Apple TV) : FAQs about renting movies from the iTunes Store :
If you rented the movie on your computer, you can move it to an iOS device or Apple TV (1st generation). To do this, connect the devices and sync using USB. When you move a rented movie from your computer, it will disappear from your computer’s iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as much as you want, but you can only have it on one device at a time.
If you rented the movie on your iOS device or Apple TV, you can’t move it to any other device.

  • Can I use an iPad, iPad mini and iPod touch on the same apple account?

Can I use an iPad, iPad Mini and iPod touch on the same account?  Is there a limit to how many devices I can use?

When you turn on your iDevice for the first time just sign in with the same Apple ID and you can download any apps you have purchased in the past! There shouldn't be a limit to how many devices you can use.

  • Can I have an iphone 4 and iphone 4s on the same itunes account?

I have my husbands old i phone 4 and he has upgraded to the 4s, but the itunes account was created under my name for both phones. I just wanted to ensure that I don't lose my contacts again.

    Hi Allan
Many thanks for the reply; so to explain to this bear with little brain!!! If I just plug and sync into itunes without touching anything, my contacts will stay on the phone, and not revert back to my husbands contacts?
This was what happened when he received his new phone,
All was fine and dandy when we plugged his new phone in to itunes and registered his phone, but when  I plugged his old phone in to itunes for me to customize to my liking and add the few apps and move things around, pop up boxes kept appearing and I just said to yes to all, as I am very new to this, not realizing what any of it really means.
The next day I went to use my phone to call someone, and I had found that all the contacts had disappeared.....I was not a happy bunny, so I plugged into itunes and the only contacts that reappeared were my husbands old list of contact.
I went into town to the Orange shop and they managed to transfer my contacts from my old sim on to the iphone, again....but the man in the shop said to stop it happening again, I have to open another itunes account, something I do not wish to do.
Is the Orange shop assistant correct?
    Regards Linda

  • HT1495 I am a teacher and we all have the same itunes account for school. I started downloading apps and it was downloading on others' ipads too.  I shut off all the syncing on my ipad but other teacher are saying they still getting my stuff. What do I/th

I don't know if they just got my stuff from before and are just seeing it now or if they still are getting my information.  I don't have anything to hide but it's awkward knowing other people are seeing all you are downloading and even messaging.  I want to talk to them more and know exactly when and where they are receiving the information but I haven't yet.  I talked with one teacher and she thought they just have to turn off the syncing or automatic downloads on their ipads.  Will that stop it?

Turning off automatic downloads will stop the other iPads from getting your downloads. You should all do this on each of your iPads.
Settings>iTunes and App Store>Automatic Downloads>Off.... Music, Apps and Books - All Off.
As far as Messaging, if you are all using the same Apple ID, you will all receive the same messages because Messages uses the Apple ID email address as the means by which you are contacted. Apparently all of the devices were set up with the Apple ID, which is fine, but you should all associate a new email address on each device where you can be reached. One device can keep the Apple ID as the contact address.
Settings>Messages>Send and receive>Add another email address.
Add your own unique email addresses in there. Apple will verify those addresses. Go to the inboxes of those email addresses and read the email from Apple. Follow the instructions in the email in order to finish the verification process.
Then go back to Settings>Messages>You can be reached by iMessage at ..... and remove the Apple email address from all but one of the iPads. Or you can just uncheck the Apple email address as the contact address, select the new email address, and check the correct email address as the "start new conversations from"
You will now all have your own email addresses as the address at which you can be contacted with the Messages app.

  • How can I sync my iPod with another iPod as I use the same iTunes account?

I currently have an iPod Nano and want to go for an iPod Touch soon. My iPod Nano has a lot of iTunes music that I’d rather not have to pay for a second time. How can I get that music on to my new iPod without having to pay for it again?

The best approach would be to register your new iPod to your current iTunes account then sync to the matching library much like your old one. You can learn more about BACKING UP and managing content simply by downloading and reading on your user guide.
