Can I share books between family members with different Apple IDs?
I am trying to share books within my family as we were always able to do with home share in iTunes. Is this possible? I can phisically move the book file, but must sign in as my Apple ID on my wire's system, effectively removing her library from her iBooks and replacing it iwth mine. All I want to do is share the book I bought. How can I do this?
Thanks for the link. I looked at this and tried it and it sync'd my wife's iBook with my account, so she now had my Apple ID logged into her iBook. I'd like to be able to share my iBooks with her, but add them to her library as we were able to do with Home Sharing in iTunes. I want her to be able to use her Apple ID with iBooks, but be able to read some of the books I buy on my account. Does that make sense?
Thank you.

The Apple Support Communities are an international user to user technical support forum. As a man from Mexico, Spanish is my native tongue. I do not speak English very well, however, I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.
iTunes content can be commingled in the iTunes library on a computer and synced to iOS devices. The computer must be authorized to use the content from the respective Apple IDs in the iTunes Store menu. -

Silly question, but can you share apps between family members (iPhone)?
My wife has just purchased an iPhone awaiting del.
Question
can you share your apps or not?
if she has her own apple id...
I would think not as I cannot seem to find anything to suggest it.
But thought i would ask the community.
and is there away around it??????????
thanks againEDIT: It seems Apple have changed the AppStore Terms and Conditions since I last read them thoroughly.
Here's the relevant sections:
If you are an individual acting in your personal capacity, you may download and sync an App Store Product for personal, noncommercial use on any iOS Device you own or control.
You may auto-download iTunes Auto-Delivery Content or download previously-purchased iTunes Eligible Content from an Account on up to 10 Associated Devices, provided no more than 5 are iTunes-authorized computers.
(ii) An Associated Device can be associated with only one Account at any given time.
(iii) You may switch an Associated Device to a different Account only once every 90 days.
(iv) You may download previously-purchased free content onto an unlimited number of devices while it is free on the iTunes Service, but on no more than 5 iTunes-authorized computers. -

iTunes: How to share music between different accounts on a single computer -
My three children each receive iPad minis from their generous grandparents last year; all were using my Apple ID so that we could share purchased content. However, they could not play games with each other using GameCenter (all one Apple ID) and it would be good to iMessage/FaceTime each other. So Family Sharing seems great, but it seems to me that I will have to sign out of my Apple ID on each of their devices, which means that they will love all of their data, etc.
Can I change each child's iPad mini from my Apple ID to theirs and then use a backup to restore their data?
Thank you.I apologize, but my grammar and spelling were full of errors They "received" iPad minis...
And I am afraid that they will "lose" (not love) all of their data.
Thanks. -

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Yes, even though they have their own IDs for the iTunes Store, if everyone uses the same ID for home sharing, you can share the content. -

how do I link itunes between two computers with different Apple ID
You need to set up two user accounts on the mac. System Preferences>Users & Groups. Then each user can set up apple IDs for itunes and icloud any way they want.

Hi,
I was looking into purchasing 2 apple tvs and was wondering if they can be setup with different apple ids. I need to have mine setup with my id and be able to hook my devices to it , but have the one in a bedroom hooked to a different apple id and have my friend's devices stream to that one and not mine. Is this possible?Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order that your Apple TV only streamed from your iTunes Library and your friends to your friends, you would both have to have different homesharing ID's.
So far as devices go, any device on a network can stream over AirPlay to an Apple TV, to ensure each of you couldn't stream to the others device you can enable a password via the Apple TV which would then need entering when you used a device for AirPlay.
Shouldn't be a problem to do what you want to do. -
HT204053 Can you sync pages files on different devices with different apple ids?
Can you sync pages files on different devices with different apple ids? I have a personal iPad and one given to me for work. They are set up with two different apple IDs. I do all of my lesson plans in pages. I want to be able to create plans on both devices, but need to know if there is a way to sync the files without emailing, etc.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
No, that's not possible. A better way of working around this than emailing the documents to yourself is to use a third party storage solution such as Dropbox and a webDAV server to upload the documents. -
I am inquiring as to if you can 2 different icloud accounts (that come from 2 different iphones with different apple ids) on the same computer. I would like both iphones to be able to back up to the same computer since we have different accounts/pictures/mail etc.
Yes, if you create 2 seperate user accounts.

Unable to delete extra tracks that vocal tracking created while recording vocals.
I Was tracking some vocals, so I selected the vocal tracking preset. It created more tracks every time I did a re take, even though I erased the unwanted take. Now I am left with 3 extra sub tracks under my vocal track. I would love to condense it, j
